Abstract
The Pd phosphine complex catalysts immobilized onto polyethylene glycol (PEG)-modified silica were prepared in order to clarify the effect of the PEG modification on the Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reaction in organic solvents. For the reaction of ethyl p-bromobenzoate and phenylboronic acid in the presence of potassium carbonate in toluene, the PEG-modified silica-immobilized Pd catalysts exhibited much higher activities than the catalysts without PEG modification. 相似文献46.

Scope: Previous reports in the areas of animal studies and, recently epidemiology, have linked anti‐tumorigenic and anti‐inflammatory effects to dietary vitamin B6. This study investigated the molecular mechanism of these effects of vitamin B6. Methods and results: DNA microarray analysis was used to obtain information on changes in colon gene expression from vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) repletion in vitamin B6‐deficient rats. Pyridoxine supplementation down‐regulated the inflammatory molecule, serine protease inhibitor clade A member 3 (SPI‐3) mRNA expression in the colon. This study also showed that tumor necrosis factor α (TNF‐α) induced SPI‐3 mRNA expression in HT‐29 human colon cancer cells, and vitamin B6 (pyridoxal hydrochloride) pretreatment of HT‐29 cells inhibited TNF ‐induced mRNA expression of SPI‐3. Vitamin B6 inhibited TNF‐α‐induced NF‐κB activation via suppression of IκBα degradation in HT‐29 cells. HT‐29 cells stably expressing epitope‐tagged ubiquitin were generated and vitamin B6 pretreatment was shown to inhibit ubiquitination of the IkB protein in response to TNF‐α‐i. Conclusion: Vitamin B6 suppressed SPI‐3 expression in the colon of rats and in TNF‐α‐stimulated HT‐29 cells. In the status selection planning system, which is a kind of knowledge-based planning system, the quality of the solution depends on the status selection rules. However, it is usually difficult to acquire useful knowledge from human experts. The learning method of a status selection rule using inductive learning is proposed. The status selection rules are divided into several stages according to the planning process. Gathering a training set and learning a part of the knowledge inductively are repeated one by one from the previous stage rules. To study the character of the hepatitis C virus (HCV) encoding serine proteinase and to search for inhibitors, a practical in vitro assay system using the purified enzyme and synthetic peptide substrates was established. The enzyme used was expressed in Escherichia coli as a fusion form with protein tags and purified to apparent homogeneity by single-step affinity chromatography. The purified enzyme exhibited proteolytic activity with pH optima of around eight, and the addition of NS4A fragments increased the activity as well as the thermal stability of the enzyme. The activity was inhibited by EDTA and some divalent ions, i.e., copper and zinc, though calcium, magnesium, and manganese were stimulative both in the presence and absence of the NS4A fragment. None of the common protease inhibitors, including serine protease inhibitors, effectively inhibited the activity. Based on the kinetic parameters of the cleavage reaction of the synthetic 20 mer peptides corresponding to the three cleavage sites, NS4A/4B, NS4B/5A, and NS5A/5B, the peptide with the NS5A/5B junction was found to be the most efficient substrate. Analysis of the minimal peptide substrate of NS5A/5B indicated that 5 to 7 amino acids on both sides of the junction were required for efficient cleavage. Silver nanowires are printable and conductive, and are believed to be promising materials in the field of printed electronics. However, the resistivity of silver nanowire printed lines is higher than that of metallic particles or flakes even when sintered at high temperatures of 100-400 °C. Therefore, their applications have been limited to the replacement of transparent electrodes made from high-resistivity materials, such as doped metallic oxides, conductive polymers, carbon nanotubes, or graphenes. Here we report that using printed silver nanowire lines, signal losses obtained in the high-frequency radio were lower than those obtained using etched copper foil antennas, because their surfaces were much smoother than those of etched copper foil antennas. This was the case even though the resistivity of silver nanowire lines was 43-71 μΩ cm, which is much higher than that of etched copper foil (2 μΩ cm). When printed silver nanowire antennas were heated at 100 °C, they achieved signal losses that were much lower than those of silver paste antennas comprising microparticles, nanoparticles, and flakes. Furthermore, using a low temperature process, we succeeded in remotely controlling a commercialized radio-controlled car by transmitting a 2.45 GHz signal via a silver nanowire antenna printed on a polyethylene terephthalate film. 相似文献

The major heat-stable shellfish allergen, tropomyosin, demonstrates immunological cross-reactivity, making specific differentiation of crustaceans and molluscs for food labelling very difficult. The aim of this study was to evaluate the application of allergen-specific monoclonal antibodies in differential detection of shellfish-derived tropomyosin in 11 crustacean and 7 mollusc species, and to study the impact of heating on its detection. Cross-reactive tropomyosin was detected in all crustacean species, with partial detection in molluscs: mussels, scallops and snails but none in oyster, octopus and squid. Furthermore, we have demonstrated that heating of shellfish has a profound effect on tropomyosin detection. This was evident by the enhanced recognition of multiple tropomyosin variants in the analysed shellfish species. Specific monoclonal antibodies, targetting the N-terminal region of tropomyosin, must therefore be developed to differentiate tropomyosins in crustaceans and molluscs. This can help in correct food labelling practices and thus protection of consumers. 相似文献
