A gold permanent magnet for an ornamental material is developed in the Au-Fe-Ni system. It is found that the magnetic properties of the An-12.5 wt% Fe-12.5 wt% Ni alloy aged at 450°C for seven hours and cold-swaged by 92 percent are Br = 0.53 T (5300 G), iHc = 40.8 kA/m (510 Oe), and (BH)max = 9.1 kJ/m3(1.1 MGOe). The Au-12.5 wt% Fe-10 wt% Ni-2.5 wt% Co alloy aged at 450°C for 2.5 h and swaged by 86 percent attained Br = 0.54 T (5400 G), iHc = 42.4 kA/m (530 Oe), and (BH)max = 9.6 kJ/m3(1.2 MGOe). In these alloys, the magnetic hardening is due to the fine Fe-Ni rich ferromagnetic particles precipitated in the Au matrix.  相似文献

A method that represents and compiles expert knowledge for choosing diagnostic tests is presented. Usually, physicians inquire into the patient's complaints, examine him/her physically, and on the assumption of a specific disease or impaired organ system, choose a certain group of laboratory tests designed to examine this assumption. After checking the test results, they may perform another set of tests for further differential diagnosis. This step is repeated until they obtain the final diagnosis. In the proposed method, this knowledge is categorized into three relations. The relation SD is defined on domains symptom/sign and disease, the relation DT is on disease and diagnostic test, and the relation DD is on disease and disease where the first attribute (column) in each relation, respectively, is a primary key, that is, there exists precisely one value, and the second is a set of values. We show that redundant tuples can be reduced or decomposed by checking whether or not there exist tuples whose set of diagnostic tests are equivalent to that of other tuples or are a subset of others. Finally, we can obtain a preferable set of diagnostic tests for given symptoms/signs by using the join of SD and DT, and for further diagnosis, the join of DD and DT is applicable.  相似文献

Experiments with a single fire source were carried out in crosswinds in order to elucidate the correlation between temperature rise and velocity along an inclined fire plume axis. A circular propane burner with a diameter of 0.2 m was used as a model fire source. The temperature and velocity were measured along the inclined fire plume axis, and these were compared with fire plume data obtained in a calm condition. An empirical formula to represent the correlation of the temperature rise and velocity was developed. The values of empirical coefficients and exponents were derived from the experimental results of the circular burner. In order to verify the availability of the proposed empirical formula, the comparison was carried out with the data obtained from square and/or rectangular burners.  相似文献

Praseodymium-doped glasses were prepared in the Ga-Na-S (GNS) system and their optical properties were studied. A single-mode fiber with an attenuation loss of 1.2 dB/m at a wavelength of 1.31 μm was fabricated using an extrusion method, and the amplification characteristics were measured in the bidirectional pumping configuration. We demonstrated a gain coefficient of 0.81 dB/mW at a wavelength of 1.34 μm, which is the highest we have ever reported, and achieved a net gain of 32 dB for a pump power of 90 mW. Highly efficient optical amplification at a wavelength of 1.3 μm was demonstrated in the praseodymium-doped GNS fiber.  相似文献

The effects of tensile strain on the swelling behaviour of acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer rubber vulcanizates were studied by real-time pulsed nuclear magnetic resonance (n.m.r.) measurements and volume swelling measurements at equilibrium. It was shown that tensile strain causes an increase of the initial swelling rate evaluated by n.m.r. measurements and of the swelling ratio of the rubber matrix at equilibrium. This behaviour was discussed qualitatively in terms of the molecular mobility of the network chains on the basis of Treloar's theory for swelling under deformation. It was suggested that the presence of reinforcing fillers in the rubber matrix exerts two noticeable effects on swelling under deformation: (1) a transient effect through some oriented structure induced by stretching, which restricts the increase of the swelling rate; (2) a strain amplification effect, which causes the increase of the average local strain in the rubber matrix and enhances the swelling ratio more remarkably proportional to the filler concentration as compared with that of the unfilled system.  相似文献

LEAlB14 (orthorhombic, Imam) (LE = Li, Mg) crystals were grown using metal salts (Li2CO3, LiF, LiI, MgO, MgF2, MgI2) and crystalline boron from a high-temperature aluminium metal flux. The growth conditions for growing LEAlB14 were established using the starting mixtures of B/LE = 2.0, and Al metal was added to each mixture at a mass ratio of 1:15–20. LEAlB14 crystals from the Al-self flux using metal salts could be obtained from all the different salts. The maximum dimensions of LiAlB14 and MgAlB14 crystals were approximately 18 and 12 mm for the crystals obtained from LiF and MgF2. The unit-cell parameters of as-grown LEAlB14 are as follows: for LiAlB14, obtained from LiF, a = 0.5846 (2) nm, b = 0.8144 (2) nm, c = 1.0355 (3) nm, V = 0.4930 (2) nm3: for MgAlB14, obtained from MgF2, a = 0.5845 (2) nm, b = 0.8114 (2) nm, c = 1.0330 (3) nm, V = 0.4899 (3) nm3. Microhardness, oxidation resistance and magnetic susceptibility of these materials are described in detail.  相似文献
