This paper presents a high‐performance dual‐circularly polarized feed employing a dielectric‐filled circular waveguide. Novel features are incorporated in the proposed feed, such as a dielectric rod radiator for high gain and good impedance matching; dual quarter‐wave chokes for low axial ratio over wide angles and for low back radiation; an integrated septum polarizer; and two end‐launch‐type coaxial‐to‐waveguide transitions. The proposed feed shows excellent performance at 5.0 GHz to 5.2 GHz.  相似文献

Smart TV is expected to bring cloud services based on virtualization technologies to the home environment with hardware and software support. Although most physical resources can be shared among virtual machines (VMs) using a time sharing approach, allocating the proper amount of memory to VMs is still challenging. In this paper, we propose a novel mechanism to dynamically balance the memory allocation among VMs in virtualized Smart TV systems. In contrast to previous studies, where a virtual machine monitor (VMM) is solely responsible for estimating the working set size, our mechanism is symbiotic. Each VM periodically reports its memory usage pattern to the VMM. The VMM then predicts the future memory demand of each VM and rebalances the memory allocation among the VMs when necessary. Experimental results show that our mechanism improves performance by up to 18.28 times and reduces expensive memory swapping by up to 99.73% with negligible overheads (0.05% on average).  相似文献

Direct graphene transfer is an attractive candidate to prevent graphene damage, which is a critical problem of the conventional wet transfer method. Direct graphene transfer can fabricate the transferred graphene film with fewer defects by using a polymeric carrier. Here a unique direct transfer method is proposed using a 300 nm thick copper carrier as a suspended film and a transfer printing process by using the polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) stamp under controlled peeling rate and modulus. Single and multilayer graphene are transferred to flat and curved PDMS target substrate directly. With the transfer printing process, the transfer yield of a trilayer graphene with 1000 µm s?1 peeling rate is 68.6% of that with 1 µm s?1 peeling rate. It is revealed that the graphene transfer yield is highly related to the storage modulus of the PDMS stamp: graphene transfer yield decreases when the storage modulus of the PDMS stamp is lower than a specific threshold value. The relationship between the graphene transfer yield and the interfacial shear strain of the PDMS stamp is studied by finite‐element method simulation and digital image correlation.  相似文献

A novel, maskless, low‐volume bumping material, called solder bump maker, which is composed of a resin and low‐melting‐point solder powder, has been developed. The resin features no distinct chemical reactions preventing the rheological coalescence of the solder, a deoxidation of the oxide layer on the solder powder for wetting on the pad at the solder melting point, and no major weight loss caused by out‐gassing. With these characteristics, the solder was successfully wetted onto a metal pad and formed a uniform solder bump array with pitches of 120 µm and 150 µm.  相似文献

This study investigates the effect of the molecular structure of three different donor units, naphthalene (Np), bithiophene (BT), and thiophene–vinylene–thiophene (TVT), in isoindigo (IIG)‐based donor –acceptor conjugated polymers (PIIG‐Np, PIIG‐BT and PIIG‐TVT) on the charge carrier mobility of organic field‐effect transistors (OFETs). The charge transport properties of three different IIG‐based polymers strongly depend on donor units. PIIG–BT OFETs showed 50 times higher hole mobility (0.63 cm2 V?1 s?1) than PIIG–TVT and PIIG–Np ones of ≈ 0.01 cm2 V?1 s?1 with CYTOP dielectric though the BT units have less planarity than the TVT and Np units. The reasons for the different mobility in IIG‐based polymers are studied by analyzing the energy structure by absorption spectra, calculating transport levels by density functional theory, investigating the in‐ and out‐of‐plane crystallinity of thin film by grazing‐incidence wide‐angle X‐ray scattering, and extracting key transport parameters via low‐temperature measurements. By combining theoretical, optical, electrical, and structural analyses, this study finds that the large difference in OFET mobility mainly originates from the transport disorders determined by the different microcrystal structure, rather than the intrinsic transport properties in isolated chains for different polymers.  相似文献

A programed light‐responsive chiral liquid crystal (LC) containing four photochromic azobenzene moieties covalently connected to a central bicyclic chiral core (abbreviated as AZ4ICD) is newly designed, precisely synthesized, and efficiently applied as a remote‐controllable molecular knob for the optically tunable thin film. First of all, phase evolutions and ordered structures of AZ4ICD are systematically investigated by a combination of thermal, microscopic, scattering, and simulation techniques. Wide‐angle X‐ray diffractions of oriented AZ4ICD samples indicate that the AZ4ICD molecule itself basically forms layer structures: one is a low‐ordered chiral smectic A LC phase (SmA*) with 5.61 nm layer periodicity at high temperatures, and two highly ordered smectic crystal (SmCr1 and SmCr2) phases are subsequently formed at lower temperatures with the anticlinically tilted molecular packing structures. The helical superstructures of chiral nematic LC phase (N*) can be spontaneously constructed by doping AZ4ICD chiral agents into the achiral nematic molecules. Due to the bent conformational geometry of AZ4ICD, the thermal window of blue LC phase (BP) is expanded by stabilizing the double twisted cylindrical building blocks. Remote‐controllable phase transformations in the mesomorphic helical superstructures are demonstrated by tuning the wavelength of light.  相似文献

New indoline dyes ( RK‐1 – 4 ) were designed with a planar geometry and high molar extinction coefficient, which provided surprising power conversion efficiency (PCE) with a thin titanium dioxide film in dye‐sensitized solar cells (DSCs). They had a difference in only alkyl chain length. Despite the same molecular structure, the performance of the respective DSCs varied significantly. Investigating the dye adsorption processes and charge transfer kinetics, the alkyl chain length was determined to affect the dye surface coverage as well as the recombination between the injected photoelectrons and the oxidized redox mediators. When applied to the DSCs as a light harvester, RK‐3 with the dodecyl group exhibited the best photocurrent density, consequently achieving the best PCE of 9.1% with a 1.8 μm active and 2.5 μm scattering layer because of the most favorable charge injection. However, when increasing the active layer thickness, overall device performance deteriorated and the charge collection and regeneration played major roles for determining the PCE. Therefore, RK‐2 featuring the highest surface coverage and moderate alkyl chain length obtained the highest PCEs of 8.8% and 7.9% with 3.5 and 5.1 μm active layers, respectively. These results present a promising perspective of organic dye design for thin film DSCs.  相似文献

This paper discusses the effects of non-Lambertian reflection from a homogeneous surface on remote sensing of the surface reflectance and vegetation index from a satellite. Remote measurement of the surface characteristics is perturbed by atmospheric scattering of sun light. This scattering tends to smooth the angular dependence of non-Lambertian surface reflectances, an effect that is not present in the case of Lambertian surfaces. This effect is calculated to test the validity of a Lambertian assumption used in remote sensing. For the three types of vegetations considered in this study, the assumption of Lambertian surface can be used satisfactorily in the derivation of surface reflectance from remotely measured radiance for a view angle outside the backscattering region. Within the backscattering region, however, the use of the assumption can result in a considerable error in the derived surface reflectance. Accuracy also deteriorates with increasing solar zenith angle. The angular distribution of the surface reflectance derived from remote measurements is smoother than that at the surface. The effect of surface non-Lambertianity on remote sensing of vegetation index is very weak. Since the effect is similar in the visible and near infrared part of the solar spectrum for the vegetations treated in this study, it is canceled in deriving the vegetation index. The effect of the diffuse skylight on surface reflectance measurements at ground level is also discussed.  相似文献

本文研究了一种埋入式MEMS(微电子机械系统)无线应变片性能的实验标定方法,通过引入一个当量应变片,遵照标准应变片的标定规定,本文设计了实用有效的实际标定步骤,分别对标准应变片和MEMS试样进行完全相同的拉伸实验,从而得到埋入MEMS应变片的应变片系数(灵敏度)为13,同时获得在实验试样的制作条件下,测量应变与实际应变之比为2。  相似文献
