A novel process concept for the oxidative coupling of methane followed by the oligomerization to liquids has been developed within the frame of the EU integrated project OCMOL. This technology is based on process intensification principles via cutting‐edge structured microreactor technology. It is also a fully integrated industrial process through the re‐use and the recycling of by‐products, in particular CO2, at every process stage. The focus of this contribution is on the reaction engineering aspects of the core steps, i.e., catalysts, kinetics and reactor design for the methane coupling and reforming.  相似文献

New designs of bolted joints with bolt countersunk heads having high longevity in comparison with the used ones were proposed. One type of joint has the bolt heads with the reduced surface taper of the bolt head and in a joined part. Two other types have a spherical head surface, which is in contact with a tapered countersink surface. The rise in the fatigue life is achieved owing to the balance of the radial tension along the contact surfaces of the head and the countersink. Designs of a washer from the direction of a nut are proposed. These washers have ring bulges of wedge-shaped cross section that form areas of plastic deformations around a bolt body during the bolt tightening and reduce the concentration of contact stresses close to an edge of the contact surfaces of the bolt and joined parts. Procedures of fatigue tests were developed. Results of tests of the proposed bolted joints supporting their high longevity are presented. Findings of experimental investigations verify the efficiency of the application of proposed types of bolted joints in the designs of aircrafts.  相似文献

On the basis of the Navier–Stokes equations, a parametric study of the influence of various factors on the development of initial perturbations caused by starting an air-blown annular nozzle is performed for the laminar model of flow. Flow regimes are found in which the start perturbations accompanying the initiation of the nozzle do not attenuate but pass to a quasi-periodic mode. The frequency Fourier spectrum of pressure fluctuations at the center of the thrust wall and the value of the thrust of the nozzle are determined. Typical pulsed pressure signals obtained in the calculation model and detected in the experiments are presented.  相似文献

Qualitative studies were performed, and the feasibility of ethanol fluorination by its reactions with anhydrous HF and UF6 was demonstrated. The reaction occurs at temperatures of up to 150°С via replacement of OH groups with probable formation of Freon 161 and substitution of СH groups with the most probable formation of Freon 152. The Freons were identified by IR spectroscopy. The solid reaction products mainly consist of intermediate uranium fluorides. The formation of uranyl fluoride is not proved unambiguously.  相似文献

We have experimentally studied the distribution of current in an electrospray system with two counter-electrodes. It is established that, at low values of the total current, its distribution between these electrodes is proportional to the electric field flux to a given electrode. As the total current grows, this proportionality changes toward more uniform distribution, probably, due to increased role of a space charge producing mutual repulsion of charged particles.

Emerging technologies for integrated optical circuits demand novel approaches and materials. This includes a search for nanoscale waveguides that should satisfy criteria of high optical density, small cross-section, technological feasibility and structural perfection. All these criteria are met with self-assembled gallium phosphide (GaP) epitaxial nanowires. In this work, the effects of the nanowire geometry on their waveguiding properties are studied both experimentally and numerically. Cut-off wavelength dependence on the nanowire diameter is analyzed to demonstrate the pathways for fabrication of low-loss and subwavelength cross-section waveguides for visible and near-infrared (IR) ranges. Probing the waveguides with a supercontinuum laser unveils the filtering properties of the nanowires due to their resonant action. The nanowires exhibit perfect elasticity allowing fabrication of curved waveguides. It is demonstrated that for the nanowire diameters exceeding the cut-off value, the bending does not sufficiently reduce the field confinement promoting applicability of the approach for the development of nanoscale waveguides with a preassigned geometry. Optical X-coupler made of two GaP nanowires allowing for spectral separation of the signal is fabricated. The results of this work open new ways for the utilization of GaP nanowires as elements of advanced photonic logic circuits and nanoscale interferometers.  相似文献

Ignition of supersonic propane-air flow under conditions of low-temperature plasma of surface microwave discharge is experimentally studied. We show that both rich and poor mixtures ignite, and the combustion intensity is maximal for the stoichiometric mixture. The dependence of the supersonic propaneair flow ignition time on the reduced electric field, E/n, under conditions of nonequilibrium gas-discharge plasma is experimentally obtained. The induction period is shown to decrease from 1 ms to 5 μs with the increase in E/n from 40 to 200 Td. The propagation velocity of the combustion front boundary (depending on the equivalent mixture ratio and the input microwave power) is maximal for the stoichiometric mixture and reaches 160 m/s at E/n = 150 Td. Under these conditions, the combustion temperature is about 3000 K.  相似文献
