We have examined the possibility of utilizing thin-film contact layers for producing reliable Ohmic contacts to proposed intermediate-temperature (Bi,Sb)2Te3-based thermoelectric materials with improved thermoelectric properties, which allow the working temperature range to be extended to 600 K. Three contact configurations have been produced by ion-plasma magnetron sputtering: a single Ni layer, Mo/Ni bilayer, and Ni/Ta–W–N/Ni three-layer system. It has been shown that reliable contacts can be produced using Mo/Ni and Ni/Ta–W–N/Ni layers, which prevent interdiffusion between the materials to be joined and ensure good adhesion to the thermoelectric element.  相似文献

On the basis of the Navier–Stokes equations, a parametric study of the influence of various factors on the development of initial perturbations caused by starting an air-blown annular nozzle is performed for the laminar model of flow. Flow regimes are found in which the start perturbations accompanying the initiation of the nozzle do not attenuate but pass to a quasi-periodic mode. The frequency Fourier spectrum of pressure fluctuations at the center of the thrust wall and the value of the thrust of the nozzle are determined. Typical pulsed pressure signals obtained in the calculation model and detected in the experiments are presented.  相似文献

In the paper we present compact library for analysis of nuclear spectra. The library consists of sophisticated functions for background elimination, smoothing, peak searching, deconvolution, and peak fitting. The functions can process one- and two-dimensional spectra. The software described in the paper comprises a number of conventional as well as newly developed methods needed to analyze experimental data.

The asymptotic properties of temporal-difference learning algorithms with linear function approximation are analyzed in this paper. The analysis is carried out in the context of the approximation of a discounted cost-to-go function associated with an uncontrolled Markov chain with an uncountable finite-dimensional state-space. Under mild conditions, the almost sure convergence of temporal-difference learning algorithms with linear function approximation is established and an upper bound for their asymptotic approximation error is determined. The obtained results are a generalization and extension of the existing results related to the asymptotic behavior of temporal-difference learning. Moreover, they cover cases to which the existing results cannot be applied, while the adopted assumptions seem to be the weakest possible under which the almost sure convergence of temporal-difference learning algorithms is still possible to be demonstrated.  相似文献

Despite extensive research, it is still difficult to produce effective interactive layouts for large graphs. Dense layout and occlusion make food Webs, ontologies and social networks difficult to understand and interact with. We propose a new interactive visual analytics component called TreePlus that is based on a tree-style layout. TreePlus reveals the missing graph structure with visualization and interaction while maintaining good readability. To support exploration of the local structure of the graph and gathering of information from the extensive reading of labels, we use a guiding metaphor of "plant a seed and watch it grow." It allows users to start with a node and expand the graph as needed, which complements the classic overview techniques that can be effective at (but often limited to) revealing clusters. We describe our design goals, describe the interface and report on a controlled user study with 28 participants comparing TreePlus with a traditional graph interface for six tasks. In general, the advantage of TreePlus over the traditional interface increased as the density of the displayed data increased. Participants also reported higher levels of confidence in their answers with TreePlus and most of them preferred TreePlus  相似文献

It is shown that it is possible to grow carbon nanotubes on the surface of an amorphous Ni–Ta–N metal alloy film with a low Ni content (~25 at %) by chemical deposition from acetylene at temperature 400–800°C. It is established that the addition of nitrogen into the Ni–Ta alloy composition is favorable for the formation of tantalum nitride and the expulsion of Ni clusters, which act as a catalyst of the growth of carbon nanotubes, onto the surface. From Raman spectroscopy studies, it is found that, as the temperature of synthesis is raised, the quality of nanotubes is improved.  相似文献

In rail operation (with traffic corresponding to passed tonnage of gross loads of 500 and 1000 million t), the surface layer of the steel is significantly strengthened. Electron-microscope data permit quantitative analysis of the contribution of different mechanisms to rail strengthening in prolonged operation, at different distances from the contact surface. The strengthening is multifactorial: it involves substructural strengthening associated with nanofragment formation; dispersional strengthening by carbide particles; the formation of atmospheres at dislocations; and polar stress due to interphase and intraphase boundaries. The significant increase in the surface strength of rail steel after prolonged operation (passed tonnage of gross loads of 1000 million t) is due to the presence of long-range internal stress fields and to the fragmentation of material with the formation of nanostructure.  相似文献
