Energy Minimization for Real-Time Data Gathering in Wireless Sensor Networks

This paper studies the challenging problem of energy minimization for data gathering over a multiple-sources single-sink communication substrate in wireless sensor networks by exploring the energy-latency tradeoffs using rate adaptation techniques. We consider a real-time scenario for mission-critical applications, where the data gathering must be performed within a specified latency constraint. We first propose an offline numerical optimization algorithm with performance analysis for a special case with a complete binary data gathering tree. Then, by discretizing the transmission time, we present a simple, distributed on-line protocol that relies only on the local information available at each sensor node. Extensive simulations were conducted for both long and short-range communication scenarios using two different source placement models. We used the baseline of transmitting all packets at the highest speed and shutting down the radios afterwards. Our simulation results show that compared with this baseline, up to 90% energy savings can be achieved by our techniques (both off-line and on-line), under different settings of several key system parameters     

Efficient Legendre moment computation for grey level images

Legendre orthogonal moments have been widely used in the field of image analysis. Because their computation by a direct method is very time expensive, recent efforts have been devoted to the reduction of computational complexity. Nevertheless, the existing algorithms are mainly focused on binary images. We propose here a new fast method for computing the Legendre moments, which is not only suitable for binary images but also for grey level images. We first establish a recurrence formula of one-dimensional (1D) Legendre moments by using the recursive property of Legendre polynomials. As a result, the 1D Legendre moments of order p, L_p=L_p(0), can be expressed as a linear combination of L_p-1(1) and L_p-2(0). Based on this relationship, the 1D Legendre moments L_p(0) can thus be obtained from the arrays of L₁(a) and L₀(a), where a is an integer number less than p. To further decrease the computation complexity, an algorithm, in which no multiplication is required, is used to compute these quantities. The method is then extended to the calculation of the two-dimensional Legendre moments L_pq. We show that the proposed method is more efficient than the direct method.

文章报道了空间多光谱扫描仪红外波段多元光导碲镉汞探测器的研制与优值。重点研究并解决了多元器件光谱曲线不一致性的问题，简述了器件的优值波段响应率RΔλ1，波段探测率DΔλ和单色响应率Rλ的测试定标方法，以及器件按空间环境使用要求经历老炼和环境条件试验的情况。测试结果表明多元件性能稳定可靠，各项指标均达到了空间多光谱扫描仪的技术要求。

一种“绝对型”电容薄膜真空计的研制

介绍用磁控溅射制作的从大气往真空约覆盖5个量程的“绝对型”电容薄膜真空规，以及与该真空规配套的真空计的电路。该真空计测量范围为1．3～105Pd，真空规与电容信号检测电路置于同一金属壳内，以避免外界干扰。规的恒温胜温度波动小于±0．1℃，有效地降低了温度的影响。电路的非线性小于0．4％，高真空下北输出漂移小于0．1％，在13～105Pa各量程内，最大校准误差小于读数的4％。     

媒体同步关系的描述

由于多媒体信息系统中，需要集成各种数据类型，而这些数据类型又有着密切的时间关系，所以对于多媒体来说，同步问题是很重要的，而同步的基础是为同步关系建立一个独立于实现环境的抽象的表示模型，本文着重讨论几种描述媒体同步关系的模型。     

聚合酶β在肝癌细胞DNA辐射损伤修复中的作用

利用第二军医大学裸鼠移植性肝癌细胞（ＳＭＭＣ－ＬＴＮＭ）和不同的ＤＮＡ聚合酶选择性抑制剂ＮＥＭ与ｄ２ＴＴＰ，探讨了肿瘤细胞核中ＤＮＡ聚合酶β参与γ射线辐射损伤ＤＮＡ修复的作用特点，结果表明，该酶参与真核细胞γ射线辐照损伤的ＤＮＡ修复合成，是一种重要的ＤＮＡ修复酶，与正常肝细胞相比，ＳＭＭＣ－ＬＴＮＭ肝癌细胞ＤＮＡ聚合酶β的ＤＮＡ修复合成反应速度快，修复能力强，提示某些肿瘤细胞中该酶的ＤＮＡ辐射损伤
