A 28-year-old man with a Wilms tumor extending into his right atrium was successfully treated using cardiopulmonary bypass. Histologic examination revealed clear cell sarcoma with invasion of the inferior vena cava. This case represents the oldest patient with clear cell sarcoma of the kidney ever published in the English literature.  相似文献

Sequence distribution of styrene-butadiene copolymer (SBR) was investigated by ozonolysis-g.p.c. All the double bonds of butadiene units in SBR were cleaved by ozonolysis in methylene chloride at ?30°C, followed by reduction degradation to alcohol with lithium aluminium hydride. The g.p.c. of the ozonolysis products observed with a u.v.-detector showed the peaks corresponding to styrene sequences and styrene-1,2 sequences. Hot- and cold-emulsion SBR samples contained short sequences consisting of 1 to 4 styrene units and 1,2 styrene units respectively. The average sequence length of cold-emulsion SBR was slightly longer than that of hot-emulsion SBR. A partial block SBR prepared by solution polymerization contained short styrene sequences of 1 to 5 units and long sequences having a broad distribution of MwMn = 1.6 with the maximum around 35 units. The styrene sequences containing the 1,2 unit was scarcely observed in this sample.  相似文献

The study focused on application of dielectric spectroscopy to identify the adulteration of olive oil. The dielectric properties of binary mixture of oils were investigated in the frequency range of 101 Hz–1 MHz. A partial least squares (PLS) model was developed and used to verify the concentrations of the adulterant. Furthermore, the principal component analysis (PCA) was used to classify olive oil sample as distinct from other adulterants based on their dielectric spectra. The results showed that the dielectric spectra of binary mixture of olive oil spiked with other oils increased with increasing concentration of soy, corn, canola, sesame, and perilla oils from 0% to 100% (w/w) over the measured frequency range. PLS calibration model showed a good prediction capability for the concentrations of the adulterant. For olive oil adulterated with soy oil, the results showed that the RMS was 0.053, sd(RMS), 0.017 and Q2 value was 0.967. PCA classification plots for all oil samples showed clear performance in the differentiation for the different concentrations of the adulterant. Each of the oil samples could be easily grouped in different clusters using dielectric spectra. From the results obtained in this research, dielectric spectroscopy could be used to discriminate the olive oil adulterated with the different types of the oils at levels of adulteration below 5%.  相似文献

Lysine demethylase 5 C (KDM5C) controls epigenetic gene expression and is attracting great interest in the field of chemical epigenetics. KDM5C has emerged as a therapeutic target for anti-prostate cancer agents, and recently we identified triazole 1 as an inhibitor of KDM5C. Compound 1 exhibited highly potent KDM5C-inhibitory activity in in vitro enzyme assays, but did not show strong anticancer effects. Therefore, a different approach is needed for the development of anticancer agents targeting KDM5C. Here, we attempted to identify KDM5C degraders by focusing on a protein-knockdown strategy. Compound 3 b , which was designed based on compound 1 , degraded KDM5C and inhibited the growth of prostate cancer PC-3 cells more strongly than compound 1 . These findings suggest that KDM5C degraders are more effective as anticancer agents than compounds that only inhibit the catalytic activity of KDM5C.  相似文献

The method as well as an appropriate instrumentation for measuring phase changes of reflected light is described. The phase changes on samples of Au, Al, Ag, and Cr evaporated films are measured for five wavelengths (lambda) from 442 to 633 nm, with respect to the phase change at the glass-air interface, where it should be zero. The measured results for the Au film are in fairly good agreement with values calculated by use of optical constants from a handbook or the complex refractive index measured by an ellipsometer. The phase changes for Al and Ag films are different from calculated values by ~5 degrees or a shift length of 4.4 nm at lambda = 633 nm, while those of the Cr film show large shifts as high as 16 degrees or a shift length of 9.8 nm at lambda = 442 nm.  相似文献

A closed-cycle Joule–Thomson cryocooler for resistance thermometer calibration has been developed. It consists of a Gifford–McMahon mechanical refrigerator and a closed-cycle 3He Joule–Thomson expansion circuit that utilizes the isenthalpic expansion of 3He for cooling. The developed cryocooler can reach temperatures as low as 0.6K and can operate for months with a simple procedure. The typical cooling power of the cryocooler is 1mW at 0.65K with a molar flow rate of 160μmol ·s−1 through the 3He Joule–Thomson circuit. The possible mechanical vibration level experienced by the resistance thermometers was measured with a laser vibrometer. It was confirmed that the maximum acceleration level is 0.1m· s−2 and will not cause a problem for thermometer calibration.  相似文献

We have developed a 3.2 kHz, 14-bit optical absolute rotary encoder system using a profile sensor and a slit disc. The profile sensor, which we have designed for this purpose, is a unique CMOS area image sensor aimed at high-speed position detection of X and Y axes. Y axis profile data from the profile sensor is used for recognition of an index code on the slit disc, and X axis profile data is used for position detection of the index code. This combination of two-axis information enables high resolution even with a small number of index codes (64 indexes) and a small amount of digital calculations. Experimental results show that this system can detect rotation with an angular resolution of 14 bits (0.022deg) and a maximum detection speed of 3.2 kHz.  相似文献

A wavelength tunable optical filter is a beneficial optical component for dense wavelength-division-multiplexed systems. We report a high-performance polymeric arrayed-waveguide grating (AWG)-based tunable filter made of cross-linked silicone and operating around 1.55 μm. An experimental investigation on short‐circuit phenomenon through ejected hot gas between source‐side terminals in molded case circuit breakers (MCCBs) was performed. The rate of occurrence of the short‐circuit phenomenon was found to increase with the peak value of the breaking current and with the order of the breaking test. The conductance of the ejected hot gas was also found to rise with the peak value of the breaking current and with the order of the breaking test. These results indicate that the hot gas of high conductance is the cause of the short‐circuit phenomenon. Some effective means were taken in the MCCB to reduce the conductance of the hot gas.
