Intracoronary thrombosis plays a key role in the pathogenesis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI), and the formation of an occlusive thrombus usually precedes the development of myocardial damage. Therefore we evaluated and compared the early sensitivities of thrombin-antithrombin III complex (TAT), D-dimer, myoglobin, creatine kinase (CK) MB mass concentration, and cardiac troponin T (cTnT) on admission to a coronary care unit (CCU) before heparin or thrombolytic therapy was started. We investigated 31 consecutive patients admitted to CCU for evolving AMI within 6 hours from the onset of infarct-related symptoms; the median delay from chest pain onset to CCU admission was 135 minutes. Of all biochemical markers tested TAT had the highest early sensitivity on admission to the CCU, and TAT was significantly more sensitive than cTnT, CKMB mass, myoglobin, and D-dimer. However, TAT increases give no information about the location of clot formation in the body, and the diagnosis of AMI must be subsequently verified by an increase in more cardiac specific proteins, such as troponins or CKMB.  相似文献

An integrated ultra micro glutamate sensor has been constructed with a 7 μm diameter platinized carbon-fiber disk (PCD) electrode and a platinum thin-film (PTF) counter electrode fabricated on the glass capillary tube. By platinization, the electrode activity of the carbon fiber is improved. In order to obtain a stable response, a pulse potential is applied for hydrogen peroxide measurement. The PTF counter electrode shows good stability and can be used as a substitute for a silver-silver chloride electrode. Since the integrated PCD electrode shows good characteristics as a hydrogen peroxide sensor, glutamate oxidase is immobilized onto the tip of the PCD electrode to construct the ultra micro glutamate sensor. The sensor shows stable response to glutamate and a response time within 12 s. The calibration range for glutamate measurement is 50–800 μM.  相似文献

Managers' tasks have two aspects: to monitor (control) business activities and to plan the future based upon the monitored results. Thus a decision Support System (DSS) must have two kinds of databases appropriate for its needs.A management database, i.e., one for monitoring activities, is constructed mainly from the existing operational databases. A data cube should be employed for the logical data structure of the management database so that managers can share it and access it in multiple ways.Planning databases, i.e., those for planning activities, are constructed mostly from the management database. A table form should be employed for its logical data structure so that managers will find it easy to use.The management and planning databases should be connected through DSS's system architecture [1]. This makes the operational data (indicating business activities) directly and immediately available for management decision making.We have previously presented the DSS architecture. Neutron Diffraction Study on the Structure of Na-Si-O-N Oxynitride Glasses   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The local structure of a Na2O─SiO2 oxide glass and a Na2O─iO2─Si3N4 oxynitride glass has been investigated by the pulsed neutron diffraction method. In the oxide glass, the first peak of radial distribution function (RDF) curves appeared at 0.1627 nm corresponding to Si─O boxh length. In the oxynitride glass, the first peak of the RDF curve was shifted to longer distances at 0.1650 nm due to the coexistence of Si─O and Si─N boxhs. The first peak in the RDF curve of the oxynitride glass was deconvoluted into two peaks whose positions are located at 0.1626 and 0.1709 nm. The one at 0.1626 nm is ascribed to Si─O boxhs and the other at 0.1709 nm to Si─N boxhs. The number of silicon atoms around a nitrogen was found to be 2.42, suggesting that not all of the nitrogen atoms are boxhed to three silicon atoms, but 58% twofold (─N─) and 42% threefold (>N─) nitrogens coexist in the present Na-Si-O-N oxynitride glass. The formation of twofold nitrogens may arise from the reaction between ≡Si─O and ≡Si3N groups. This model is compatible with the experimental observation that the density and Vickers hardness of oxynitride glasses increase with the nitrogen content.  相似文献

Expression and cellular localization of three isoenzymes of Ca2+-dependent protein kinase C (PKCalpha, PKCbeta, and PKCgamma) in the adult rat retina were revealed by immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization histochemistry with isoenzyme-specific antibodies and cRNA probes. Immunoreactivities and mRNA signals for PKCalpha were conspicuous in rod bipolar cells. A subgroup of amacrine cells expressed PKCalpha. The cells in the ganglion cell layer also displayed PKCalpha gene products. Positive immunoreactivities for PKCbeta were localized as stripe patterns in the inner plexiform layer, corresponding to the stratification levels of axon terminals of cone bipolar cells. The somata of cone bipolar cells expressed PKCbeta. Amacrine cells and retinal ganglion cells also displayed PKCbeta gene products. The results obtained by immunohistochemistry were confirmed with colocalization of mRNA signals for PKCalpha and PKCbeta on the somata. The cell membranes showed stronger immunoreactivities than did the cytoplasms for both PKCalpha and PKCbeta. Neither immunoreactivities nor mRNA signals for PKCgamma were detected in all retinal regions. The differential roles of Ca2+-dependent PKC isoenzymes could be revealed in physiological defined retinal neurons.  相似文献

Ouabainlike factors are thought to be a kind of important modulators of salt and water metabolism in essential hypertension. We purified the binding-protein of ouabain (OBP) from human plasma. The amino-terminal sequence of OBP from human plasma, (NH2-TLGQPREPQVYTLPPXREEM-), indicated that OBP is the carboxy-terminal fragment (14.4 kDa by SDS-PAGE) from T218 of IgG2 heavy chain and from A221 of the IgG1 heavy chain constant region. Moreover, plasmin-cleaved Fc fragment (pFc) of IgG possessed the ouabain-binding activity by the gel-filtration method of pFc and authentic ouabain mixture, whereas neither intact, aggregate, nor papain-cleaved Fc fragment did. The amino-terminal sequence of pFc was NH2-THTXPPXPAPELLGGPXVFL-, and this sequence corresponded to the T105 to L125 fragment of the IgG1 heavy chain constant region. The growth of cultured THP-1 cells were arrested in the dose-dependent manner by ouabain, which was inhibited by the addition of 20 microg/mL of pFc. These results suggested that plasmin-cleaved Fc of human IgG is one of the binding protein of ouabain/ouabainlike factor(s) in human plasma.  相似文献

Vertical-to-surface transmission electrophotonic devices with a vertical-cavity are described. The individually accessed 12×4 arrays are characterized and demonstrated to have uniform room-temperature continuous-wave operating characteristics for a threshold current of ~2.8±0.15 mA and a slope efficiency of ~0.18±0.012 W/A with a single transverse mode. Both low threshold and high efficiency with 5% and 7% deviation, respectively, are achieved simultaneously. Advances in the digital network society require both higher density and higher transfer rates in all sorts of storage systems. Especially in optical recording, the trend toward higher density and larger capacity requires novel surface-recording technologies that can drastically diminish head-to-medium spacing, resulting in an improvement in spatial resolution and, finally, a higher recording density. To this end, we have already proposed a novel contact optical head slider that is able to almost cancel the suspension load by generating hydrodynamic pressure, thus realizing a lower net contact force. Evaluating the dynamic contact force is requisite in realizing its stable sliding operation and higher signal readout performance. In this study, a continuous acoustic emission (AE) signal was utilized to detect the dynamic contact force. AE signal modulation was compared with the applied out-of-plane acceleration on a medium generated by a spindle combined piezo-electric actuator. It was clarified that the detected AE modulation amplitude was approximately proportional to the applied acceleration, and that utilizing AE modulation will be a useful method for evaluating dynamic contact force.  相似文献

After observers have adapted to an edge that is spatially blurred or sharpened, a focused edge appears too sharp or blurred, respectively. These adjustments to blur may play an important role in calibrating spatial sensitivity. We examined whether similar adjustments influence the perception of temporal edges, by measuring the appearance of a step change in the luminance of a uniform field after adapting to blurred or sharpened transitions. Stimuli were square-wave alternations (at 1 to 8 Hz) filtered by changing the slope of the amplitude spectrum. A two-alternative-forced-choice task was used to adjust the slope until it appeared as a step change, or until it matched the perceived transitions in a reference stimulus. Observers could accurately set the waveform to a square wave, but only at the slower alternation rates. However, these settings were strongly biased by prior adaptation to filtered stimuli, or when the stimuli were viewed within temporally filtered surrounds. Control experiments suggest that the latter induction effects result directly from the temporal blur and are not simply a consequence of brightness induction in the fields. These results suggest that adaptation and induction adjust visual coding so that images are focused not only in space but also in time.  相似文献
