It is not possible to improve the toughness of triallyl isocyanurate (TAIC) resins by applying the procedures useful for diallyl phthalate (DAP) resins as typical allyl resins. The results obtained are discussed in connection with the network structure of TAIC resin. Thus, the polymerization of TAIC would provide a homogeneous network accompanied by the incomplete occurrence of intermolecular crosslinking reactions caused by the rigidity of polymer chains, although DAP resins would consist of the microheterogeneous networks as the agglomerate of colloidal particles. 相似文献

This paper describes the use of our previous study's prediction procedures for calculating thermal resistance and pressure drop. The procedures are used in the optimization of heat sink geometries for impingement air-cooling of LSI packages. Two types of heat sinks are considered: ones with longitudinal fins and ones with pin fins. We optimized the heat sink geometries by evaluating 16 parameters simultaneously. The parameters included fin thickness, spacing, and height. For the longitudinal fins, the optimal fin thicknesses were found to be between 0.12 and 0.15 mm, depending on which of the four types of fans were used. For pin fins, the optimal pin diameters were between 0.39 and 0.40 mm. Under constant pumping power, the optimal thermal resistance of the longitudinal fins was about 60% that of the pin fins. For both types of heat sinks, the optimal thermal resistance for four off-the-shelf fans was only slightly (maximum about 1%) higher than the theoretical optimum for the same pumping power. When manufacturing cost performance is considered, the most economical fin thickness and diameter are about 5 to 10 times higher than the optimal values calculated without respect for manufacturing costs. In this article, two kinds of perfluoropolyether (PFPE) with different terminal groups were investigated using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), infrared (IR) spectroscopy, gel permeation chromatography (GPC), and gas chromatography/gas mass spectrum (GC/MS) analysis. PFPEs with a hydroxyl or carboxylic acid terminal group were more heat stable than was PFPE with carboxylic methyl ester. Perfluoropropylene oxide-type PFPE with a perfluoroethyl terminal group at one end tends to lose weight more rapidly than does copolymer-type PFPE with dihydroxyl or dicarboxyl methyl ester terminal groups at both ends. The residual weight fraction of PFPE with a perfluoroethyl terminal group was dependent on the average molecular weight. The number-average molecular weight of PFPE can be calculated from the peak intensity ratio between the polar group and C F stretching by measuring the IR spectrum of PFPE. The number-average molecular weight of PFPE increased because of the evaporation loss of its low molecular weight fraction and the crosslinking reaction of PFPE with increase in temperature. GC/MS analysis showed that the main product of the pyrolysis of PFPE was hexafluoropylene. A novel, selective methodology is derived based on the difference between the diffusion processes at microelectrodes (i.e., hemispherical diffusion) and the macroelectrode (i.e., linear diffusion) in a metal-implanted boron-doped diamond electrode (metal-BDDs). As an example, the selective detection of glucose in a solution containing interference species such as ascorbic acid and uric acid is demonstrated. The electrochemical properties of BDD, which are low background current, extremely high stability, and (especially) inactivity toward glucose, play an important role in realizing these differences in the diffusion characteristics. Three mechanisms are commonly employed to enable households to sell electricity from grid-connected residential solar photovoltaic (PV) systems to utilities or grid companies: feed-in tariffs (FIT), net metering, and net purchase and sale. This study aims to compare these mechanisms with respect to social welfare and to retail electricity rates that include the cost to electric utilities of purchasing residential PV-generated electricity. The study presents a simple microeconomic model that shows, first, that the mechanism that produces the most social welfare is different depending on the amount of reduction in electricity consumption achievable under net metering or net purchase and sale (which are shown to be essentially similar). If the reduction is relatively small, FIT is likely to produce more social welfare than net metering/net purchase and sale; if the reduction is large, the opposite is the case. Second, the model shows that the mechanism that yields the lowest electricity rate is not definite, and differs depending on the homogeneity of households: when households are more homogeneous, the electricity rate under net metering/net purchase and sale is more likely to be higher than that under FIT. 相似文献

Electrospray pyrolysis, i.e. combination of electrospray and in-flight thermal treatment, has attracted much attention as a preparation method of functional ceramic particles. In this paper, we report the processing detail of spherical TiO2 nano- and microparticles by the electrospray pyrolysis method as well as their photocatalytic activity for hydrogen evolution. Titanium(IV) bis(ammonium lactato)dihydroxide aqueous solutions (TALH aq., 0.2–20 wt%) were injected into a capillary nozzle by a syringe pump (0.15–0.59 mL/min), and were electrosprayed by using DC 4 kV voltage, followed by the pyrolysis at 300–500 °C. Spherical TiO2 nano- and microparticles were successfully obtained. Nanoparticles of N,N'-bis(n-alkyl)tetracarbonatenaphthalenediimide (NDI) were adsorbed on single-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) wires dispersed on a SiO(2) substrate. The electrical properties were measured along the long axis of the SWNTs, and in all cases through the nanoparticles showed rectification in semiconducting I-V curve. The plateau width of the I-V curve through the NDI nanoparticles on metallic SWNTs decreased as the particle size increased, while the rectification ratio increased. The conduction mechanism was changed from tunneling conduction to Schottky-like conduction and their boundary is at about 3 nm diameter. 相似文献
