Dynamic mechanical properties were studied for epoxy resin filled with porous silica microballoons with varying surface area, pore radius, pore volume and adsorbed water. The glass transition temperature (Tg) of the composites is 12–14°C lower than the Tg of the unfilled epoxy resin. This Tg depression is attributed to the preferential adsorption of curing agents on the porous silica microballoons. Tg of the composite increases with increase in the adsorbed water on fillers. The storage modulus has a distinct correlation with the Hg-surface area of silica microballoons, which corresponds to the sum of the surface area of pores with radii larger than about 4 nm. Tan δc tan δm decreases with increasing Hg-surface area.  相似文献

Thermal reactions in 93% Al2O3-7% MgO and 95.8% Al2O3-4.2% MgO gels seeded with α-Al2O3, MgAl2O4, α-Fe2O3, and SiO2, sols were investigated by differential thermal analysis to determine the extent of nucleation catalysis of solid-state reactions. Seeding with α-Al2O3 lowered the α-Al2O3 crystallization temperature in these xerogels by 100° to 150°C. Spinel seeds have much less effect on the γ-α transition, and α-Fe2O3 and SiO2 seeds do not affect it significantly. Isostructural seeding of gels may therefore permit lower ceramic processing temperatures.  相似文献

2.2 GBq of 18F (half-life 110 min) was effectively deposited on a graphite electrode of diameter 3 or 5 mm. The fraction of the electro-deposited 18F was as high as 97% of the total 18F produced in the solution. The fraction of the positrons emitted out of the electrode was 44% of the total β+. In the zwitterionic polymer gel which has cationic and anionic groups inside, it forms a complex to producing stability by adding thermal energy. We reported the behavior induced by the ionic interaction of them and the impact that a nonionic surfactant could exert on the complex formation. We had heating experiments of the zwitterionic polymer gel in PBS with a nonionic surfactant added. We analyzed DSC and measured the diameter, stress and flexure of heated the gel. As the result, it has been demonstrated that formation of strong ionic interactions inside the gel can be achieved by heating them in a solution containing the nonionic surfactant. Thermo- and photosensitive hydrogel membranes were prepared by graft copolymerization of an N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAAm) and triphenylmethane leucocyanide (LeCN) monomer onto poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA). The yield of the graft copolymerization as well as the content of the poly(NIPAAm) segments grafted onto PVA was depressed by copolymerization of the LeCN monomer. The change in the permeation rate of poly(ethylene glycol)s through the hydrogel membranes was induced photochemically by dissociation of LeCN moieties in the membranes. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Lard diet (LD) is a risk factor for prostate cancer (PCa) development and progression. Two immunocompetent mouse models fed with isocaloric specific fat diets (LD) enriched in saturated and monounsaturated fatty acid (SMFA), showed significanftly enhanced PCa progression with weight gain compared with a fish oil diet (FOD). High gut microbial divergency resulted from difference in diets, and the abundance of several bacterial species, such as in the orders Clostridiales and Lactobacillales, was markedly altered in the feces of LD- or FOD-fed mice. The proportion of the order Lactobacillales in the gut was negatively involved in SMFA-induced body weight gain and PCa progression. We found the modulation of lipid metabolism and cholesterol biosynthesis pathways with three and seven commonly up- and downregulated genes in PCa tissues, and some of them correlated with the abundance of the order Lactobacillales in mouse gut. The expression of sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor 2, which is associated with the order Lactobacillales and cancer progression in mouse models, was inversely associated with aggressive phenotype and weight gain in patients with PCa using the NCBI Gene Expression Omnibus database. Therefore, SMFA may promote PCa progression with the abundance of specific gut microbial species and overexpression of lipogenic genes in PCa. Therapeutics with alteration of gut microbiota and candidate genes involved in diet-induced PCa progression may be attractive in PCa.  相似文献

Rab3B is involved in the exocytosis of synaptic vesicles and secretory granules in the central nervous system and the anterior pituitary cells. The aim of this study was to elucidate both the role of rab3B in GH secretion and the mutual relationship of rab3B and SNARE proteins. Adult male rats were injected intravenously with 10 microg of growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) or 10 microg of somatostatin (SRIF). Untreated rats were used as controls, and their pituitary glands were sectioned for histochemical examination. Rab3B is localized on the limiting membrane of the secretory granules and the cytosol. Confocal laser scanning microscopic observation of immunohistochemical double staining of rab3B and GH revealed that immunoreactivity of rab3B increased in GHRH-treated rats and decreased in SRIF-treated rats. Confocal laser scanning microscopic observation of immunohistochemical double staining of SNAP-25, syntaxin, and rab3B revealed the co-localization of rab3B and these SNARE proteins in GHRH-treated rats, and their dissociation in SRIF-treated rats. These results suggest that rab3B plays a principal role in GH secretion in the anterior pituitary cells and that SNAP-25 and syntaxin act as co-workers with rab3B in the functional regulation of GH secretion.  相似文献
