This paper presents a numerical study of the current self-excited oscillations during the opening of high voltage direct current(HVDC) metallic return transfer breaker(MRTB).The switching arc is simulated using the magneto-hydrodynamics(MHD) theory coupled with the electric circuit variation.The simulation is proved accurate in simulating the current oscillation and the commutation process in MRTB by the good agreement between the calculated results and the experimental results,which are obtained on a MRTB prototype designed to break about 5 kA of DC current.Both kinds of the results show that the current oscillation starts at about 16.5 ms and the total arc time is about 24 ms with a commutation capacitor bank of 72 μF and an inductor of 173 μH.With a further analyze on how circuit parameters influence arc current oscillations,this study helps to improve the current interruption capability of MRTB. 相似文献

This paper focuses on the numerical investigation of arc plasma behavior during arc commutation process in a medium-voltage direct current circuit breaker(DCCB) contact system.A three-dimensional magneto-hydrodynamic(MHD) model of air arc plasma in the contact system of a DCCB is developed,based on commercial software FLUENT.Coupled electromagnetic and gas dynamic interactions are considered as usual,and a thin layer of nonlinear electrical resistance elements is used to represent the voltage drop of plasma sheath and the formation of new arc root.The distributions of pressure,temperature,gas flow and current density of arc plasma in arc region are calculated.The simulation results indicate that the pressure distribution related to the contact system has a strong effect on the arc commutation process,arising from the change of electrical conductivity in the arc root region.In DCCB contact system,the pressure of arc root region will be concentrated and higher if the space above the moving contact is enclosed,which is not good for arc root commutation.However,when the region is opened,the pressure distribution would be lower and more evenly,which is favorable for the arc root commutation. 相似文献

提出了一种高效、安全的数字高程模型(digital elevation mode,简称DEM)数据小波水印算法,以解决DEM数据版权保护和限制非法使用的问题.在理论上,基于提升理论构造了一种包含自由变量t的紧支撑小波,选取参数t=1的9/7整数小波基,只需要整数加法和移位实现,运算量低,便于硬件实现.提出可嵌入水印的小波系数集生成方法,扩展了基于视觉系统(HVS)小波域量化噪声的视觉权重(JND)分析方法,使其适用于DEM数据,并能够自适应地确定水印嵌入的强度.该算法在保证地形形状和起伏特征的前提下,提高了水印的鲁棒性.应用Rabin方法生成的单向Hash函数,水印算法可以完全公开. 相似文献

The effect of arc plasma on electrode erosion in a liquid metal current limiter(LMCL)is studied.Based on a simplified two-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic model,the elongated GaInSn metal vapor arc and its contraction process in a liquid metal current limiter are simulated.The distributions of temperature,pressure and velocity of the arc plasma are calculated.The simulation results indicate that the electrode erosion is mainly caused by two high temperature gas jet flows arising from the pressure gradient,which is a result of the non-uniform arc temperature distribution.The gas flows,which act as jets onto the electrode surface,lead to the evaporation of the electrode material form the surface.A redesign structure of the electrode is proposed and implemented according to the analysis,which greatly increased the service life of the electrode. 相似文献
