We introduce and investigate a natural extension of Dung's well-known model of argument systems in which attacks are associated with a weight, indicating the relative strength of the attack. A key concept in our framework is the notion of an inconsistency budget, which characterises how much inconsistency we are prepared to tolerate: given an inconsistency budget β, we would be prepared to disregard attacks up to a total weight of β. The key advantage of this approach is that it permits a much finer grained level of analysis of argument systems than unweighted systems, and gives useful solutions when conventional (unweighted) argument systems have none. We begin by reviewing Dung's abstract argument systems, and motivating weights on attacks (as opposed to the alternative possibility, which is to attach weights to arguments). We then present the framework of weighted argument systems. We investigate solutions for weighted argument systems and the complexity of computing such solutions, focussing in particular on weighted variations of grounded extensions. Finally, we relate our work to the most relevant examples of argumentation frameworks that incorporate strengths. 相似文献

Zusammenfassung Die Bestimmung der ubiquitär verbreiteten Polycyclen bereitet oftmals in Gemüseproben Schwierigkeiten. Vorgestellt werden daher Verfahren, mit denen man eine Abtrennung der störenden Stoffe wie etherische Öle, Wachse, Carotinoide und Chlorophylle erreicht. Als besonders geeignet erweist sich dabei die Reinigung der Probenextrakte an Bio Beads S-X3 und mittels der halbpräparativen HPLC an Kieselgel Si60. Die Polycyclen werden durch CGC/MS bestimmt. Hierdurch ist es möglich, neben den zu bestimmenden Analyten auch die zugesetzten deuterierten Standardverbindungen störungsfrei zu erfassen. Die Resultate 32 verschiedener Gemüseproben werden diskutiert. Höhere Gehalte findet man in Grünkohl- und Petersilienproben.
PAH analysis in vegetable samples
Summary PAH analyses in vegetables are often difficult to carry out; therefore two different clean-up methods, which allow elimination of interfering matrix components such as essential oils, waxes, carotinoids and chlorophylls were developed. Clean-up of 32 different vegetables samples consisted of either Bio-Beads S-X3 chromatography or semi-preparative HPLC on silica gel Si-60. PAH were determined by capillary GC-MS, which allowed the application of deuterium-labelled internal standards. An integrated and new interface circuit with temperature compensation has been developed to enhance the ISFET readout circuit stability. The bridge-type floating source circuit suitable for sensor array processing has been proposed to maintain reliable constant drain-source voltage and constant drain current (CVCC) conditions for measuring the threshold voltage variation of ISFET due to the corresponding hydrogen ion concentration in the buffer solution. The proposed circuitry applied to Si3N4 and Al2O3-gate ISFETs demonstrate a variation of the drain current less than 0.1 μA and drain-source voltage less than 1 mV for the buffer solutions with the pH value changed from 2 to 12. In addition, the scaling circuitry with the VT temperature correction unit (extractor) and LABVIEW software are used to compensate the ISFET thermal characteristics. Experimental results show that the temperature dependence of the Si3N4-gate ISFET sensor improved from 8 mV/°C to less than 0.8 mV/°C. 相似文献

In this article, two topologies of L-C parallel active resonators are presented. These circuits are realized in MMIC technology, using three transistors which could be MESFET, hemt or HBT. The survey of these resonators shows the possibility, by controling the values of a resistor and/or a capacitor, on the one hand, to tune the resonance frequency of these circuits, and on the other hand, to cancel out their losses so as to obtain negative conductance. Compact, lossless and narrow-band filters are then implemented using previous active resonators. To date, the use of mesfet technology has reduced the synthesis of such active filters in S-band and at X-band low frequencies. Now, however, hemt and HBT technologies allow the extension of their implementation to the whole X-band. This survey is illustrated by the simulated response of a 10 GHz filter with a 500 MHz 3 dB bandwidth. The mmic technology is a 0.2 μm hemt one. Broadband networks using wireless transmission techniques are a quick and flexible means of implementing subscriber access. Unoccupied frequency bands with sufficient bandwidth to allow the transmission of digital signals at very high bit rates are found only in the microwave bands. Because the path loss is fairly high at these frequencies, the diameter of radio cells is limited to a maximum of a few kilometres. This results in a microcellular system, which is best implemented in the form of a point‐to‐multipoint system, where one radio‐base station serves all subscribers registered in that radio cell. Improvement of the interface contact between biological objects and electronic devices can significantly enhance the quality of electronic signal transfer. The surface of biosensor can be artificially modified in order to strengthen the adhesion of biological cells. We report on results of fabrication of micron and submicron golden spines by means of e-beam lithography and electroplating. The fabrication technique allows easy modification of the size and shape of golden spines by variation of processing parameters. The structures with different spine profiles and spacing have been fabricated for optimization of cell growth conditions. We present the results of growth of rat cortical neurons on the surface of spine modified samples. Well-defined cell guidance was established at the spine arrays. Furthermore, the results of transmission electron microscope and focused ion beam technique confirm the good adhesion between the spines and cell structures. 相似文献

The in-plane molecular structures of octa-alkyl substituted copper phthalocyanine LB films deposited on graphite have been resolved with a scanning tunnelling microscope (STM). The face-to-face stacking of Pc macrocycles has been observed in the topographies of R8PcCu monolayers. The stacking period was found to be 3.8–4 Å and the molecular rows were separated by 19 Å and 16 A for (C6H13)PcCu and (C5H11)PcCu respectively. 相似文献

High-frequency ventilation (HFV) is a modality of mechanical ventilation which presents difficult technical demands to the clinical or laboratory investigator. The essential features of an ideal HFV system are described, including wide frequency range, control of tidal volume and mean airway pressure, minimal dead space, and high effective internal impedance. The design and performance of a high-frequency oscillatory ventilation system is described which approaches these requirements. The ventilator utilizes a linear motor regulated by a closed loop controller and driving a novel frictionless double-diaphragm piston pump.
