Fabrication of 1.55 μm VCSELs on Si using metallic bonding

Using AuGeNiCr multilayered metals as the wafer bonding medium, long-wavelength GaInAsP/InP vertical cavity surface emitting lasers employing Al-oxide/Si as the upper and lower distributed Bragg reflectors were fabricated on Si substrate with the bonding interface formed outside the vertical cavity surface emitting laser cavity. Laser emission at 1.545 μm was measured under pulsed operations near room temperature. The low-temperature metallic bonding process demonstrates a great potential in device fabrication

A fully soft-switched extended-period quasi-resonantpower-factor-correction circuit

This paper presents the design criteria, procedure, and implementation of a soft-switched power-factor-correction (PFC) circuit based on the extended-period quasi-resonant (EPQR) principles. All power electronic devices including switches and diodes in the circuit are fully soft switched. The design method is demonstrated in a prototype circuit. The operating principles are confirmed with computer simulation and experimental results. A comparison of the EP-QR operation and zero-voltage-transition (ZVT) pulse-width modulation (PWM) method

Theoretical analysis of evolutionary algorithms with an infinitepopulation size in continuous space. Part II: Analysis of thediversification role of crossover

For pt. I see ibid., p. 102-19. In this part of the paper the authors concentrate on the unique diversification role of the crossover operator in genetic algorithms. The explorative behavior of a generic crossover operator is revealed through a detailed large-sample analysis. Recursive equations for the population distributions are derived for a uniform crossover operator in multi-dimensional continuous space, showing how the crossover operator probes new regions of the solution space while keeping the population within the feasible region. The results of this analysis can be extended to the setting of a discrete space in a straightforward manner, shedding much light on the understanding of the essential role of crossover in genetic algorithms.

烃源岩热解油的轻烃单体和正构烷烃分子碳同位素特征

采用最新引进的国际八十年代后期开发的GC-deltas气体同位素质谱仪,对几类典型烃源岩的热模拟液态烃产物-热解油进行了GC/C/MS在线(Online)碳同位素分析,获得了有关轻烃单体、正构烷烃及姥鲛烷、植烷分子的碳同位素组成数据.分析资料表明,轻烃单体、正构烷烃及姥鲛烷、植烷的碳同位素特征及分布模式能够有效地反映烃源岩的特征-母质类型、沉积环境及热成熟度等.     

超声波车辆车轴探头的研制与应用

提出了一种用于检测在役车辆车轴产生疲劳裂纹的超声波方法,设计了中心孔探头与斜角探头一起,完成了对车辆车轴的关键区域探伤。
