Effects of alloying elements on fracture toughness in the transition temperature region of base metals and simulated heat-affected zones of Mn-Mo-Ni low-alloy steels

This study is concerned with the effects of alloying elements on fracture toughness in the transition temperature region of base metals and heat-affected zones (HAZs) of Mn-Mo-Ni low-alloy steels. Three kinds of steels whose compositions were varied from the composition specification of SA 508 steel (grade 3) were fabricated by vacuum-induction melting and heat treatment, and their fracture toughness was examined using an ASTM E1921 standard test method. In the steels that have decreased C and increased Mo and Ni content, the number of fine M₂C carbides was greatly increased and the number of coarse M₃C carbides was decreased, thereby leading to the simultaneous improvement of tensile properties and fracture toughness. Brittle martensite-austenite (M-A) constituents were also formed in these steels during cooling, but did not deteriorate fracture toughness because they were decomposed to ferrite and fine carbides after tempering. Their simulated HAZs also had sufficient impact toughness after postweld heat treatment. These findings indicated that the reduction in C content to inhibit the formation of coarse cementite and to improve toughness and the increase in Mo and Ni to prevent the reduction in hardenability and to precipitate fine M₂C carbides were useful ways to improve simultaneously the tensile and fracture properties of the HAZs as well as the base metals.

Design of the ECRH/ECCD Launcher System for HL-2A Tokamak

An ECRH/ECCD system with two 68GHz/500kW/1S gyrotrons will be built up in HL-2A tokamak. The location of the Gaussian beam waist is 580 mm away from the center of the plasmas and the beam radius is 37 mm at the center of the plasmas. Compared to the minor plasma radius （420 mm）, it is small enough for localized control. The launcher system covers a wide toroidal and poloidal steering range by the two steering plane mirrors. Therefore it is possible to explore the on- and off-axis heating over half of the plasma minor cross section and the co-current drive.

北京谱仪（ＢＥＳⅡ）顶点探测器数据获取系统是北京谱仪数据获取系统的一部分，该子系统电子学采用快总线标准，本文描述了该系统的硬件结构和软件系统，软件包括快总线系统的微码软件和上层控制软件，该系统的死时间为１．５ｎｓ，对ＢＥＳⅡ系统总死时间的贡献小于０．５ｍｓ。     

微型集散系统通用过程控制软件包

本文给出一种新的基于ＭＣＳ－５１单片机集散系统通用过程控制软件包的设计原理及其实施方法。文中重点地阐述了微型集散系统的构在民，通用过程控制软件的自动生成，主要数据结构与程序结构，实现方法及关键技术等。本软件包是采用ＴＵＲＢＯＣ２．０版本和ＭＣＳ－５１泄编语言编程的，并通过了ＭＣＳ－５１组合软件的编译，形成了可用的目标码程序系统。     

A micromachined electrochemical sensor for free chlorine monitoring in drinking water.

In this work, we designed, fabricated and tested a disposable, flow-through amperometric sensor for free chlorine determination in water. The sensor is based on the principle of an electrochemical cell. The substrate, as well as the top microfluidic layer, is made up of a polymer material. The advantages include; (a) disposability from low cost; (b) stable operation range from three-electrode design; (c) fluidic interconnections that provide on line testing capabilities; and (d) transparent substrate which provides for future integration of on-chip optics. The sensor showed a good response and linearity in the chlorine concentration ranging from 0.3 to 1.6 ppm, which applies to common chlorination process for drinking water purification.     

Comparison of calcium phosphate cement mixture and pure calcium hydroxide as direct pulp-capping agents

This review reports the different genetic factors that have been identified either as risk factor for Alzheimer's disease (AD) or directly causing the disease. First are reviewed epidemiological data and biological mechanisms about the apoplipoprotein E gene allele epsilon 4 that is a major risk factor for Alzheimer's disease. The second part describes the mutations responsible for early-onset autosomal dominant AD found in three different genes. The gene located on chromosome 21 encodes the amyloid precusor protein (APP). The presenilin 1 and presenilin 2 genes, located on chromosome 14 and 1 respectively, encode not yet known membrane proteins.     

利用假单胞菌天冬氨酸－β－脱羧酶高效生产L－丙氨酸

通过诱变筛选得到一株具有高活性Ｌ－Ａｓｐ－β－脱羧酶的菌株ＰｓｅｕｄｏｍｏｎａｓＮＸ－１，对该株酶形成和酶反应的条件进行了详细研究，该株可以高效地转化Ｌ－Ａｓｐ生成Ｌ－ＡＩａ，转化４～５山每Ｌ培养液可转化Ｌ－Ａｓｐ量高达１４００ｇ左右，生成Ｌ－Ａｌａ浓度高达９０％以上，摩尔转化率近１００％。     

An elementary proof of Sylvester’s double sums for subresultants

In 1853 Sylvester stated and proved an elegant formula that expresses the polynomial subresultants in terms of the roots of the input polynomials. Sylvester’s formula was also recently proved by Lascoux and Pragacz using multi-Schur functions and divided differences. In this paper, we provide an elementary proof that uses only basic properties of matrix multiplication and Vandermonde determinants.
