Data-driven control has received increasing attention by researchers in recent years because no system modeling procedure is required. By combination of data-driven and model predictive control, this paper discusses an improved model-free adaptive predictive control approach with application to vibration reduction of an elastic crane. For system linearization, instead of using traditional compact-form dynamic linearization, this contribution considers the partial-form dynamic linearization (PFDL) technique in case of multivariable systems. A linearized output predictive model of the unknown system is constructed locally. To estimate and predict the time-varying parameter matrices, namely, pseudo-Jacobian matrix (PJM), recursive least-squares algorithms are utilized for online estimation improvement. As a result, an improved PFDL-based model-free controller is designed and applied firstly to the ship-mounted boom crane representing a typical flexible system. Simulation results indicate that significant reduction of the elastic boom and payload oscillations are achieved, and better control performance can be observed in comparison with other traditional methods. 相似文献

This paper studies the transceiver design for multiuser multiple-input multiple-output cognitive radio networks. Different from the conventional methods which aim at maximizing the spectral efficiency, this paper focuses on maximizing the energy efficiency (EE) of the network. First, we formulate the precoding and decoding matrix designs as optimization problems which maximize the EE of the network subject to per-user power and interference constraints. With a higher priority in accessing the spectrum, the primary users (PUs) can design their transmission strategies without awareness of the secondary user (SU) performance. Thus, we apply a full interference alignment technique to eliminate interference between the PUs. Then, the EE maximization problem for the primary network can be reformulated as a tractable concave-convex fractional program which can be solved by the Dinkelbach method. On the other hand, the uncoordinated interference from the PUs to the SUs cannot be completely eliminated due to a limited coordination between the PUs with the SUs. The secondary transceivers are designed to optimize the EE while enforcing zero-interference to the PUs. Since the EE maximization for the secondary network is an intractable fractional programming problem, we develop an iterative algorithm with provable convergence by invoking the difference of convex functions programming along with the Dinkelbach method. In addition, we also derive closed-form expressions for the solutions in each iteration to gain insights into the structures of the optimal transceivers. Curcumin (CUR) is a natural active ingredient that attracted much attention for its chemotherapeutic activity against tumors without causing toxicity in healthy cells. However, it has certain limitations for being used in chemotherapy such as low aqueous solubility and hydrolytic instability in the physiological environment. In this study, self-assembled poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether-grafted gelatin (Gel-mPEG) nanogels were fabricated as delivery systems to improve the applicability of CUR in cancer treatment. CUR-loaded Gel-mPEG nanogels exhibited desired size range, relatively colloidal stability, and provided enhanced CUR stability in aqueous solutions. Especially, they showed significant high CUR loading capacity and better anticancer activity than free CUR as compared to previously reported CUR-loaded nanogels according to the best of our knowledge. Moreover, the in vitro release of CUR from the nanogels was controlled and prolonged up to 96 h. This study is devoted to the analysis of the properties of continuous bamboo fiber (BF)-reinforced polyamide 11 (PA 11) composites. The SEM observations highlighted continuity between BFs and the polymeric matrix showing a high density of hydrogen bonds. The comparative calorimetric study of the matrix and its composites showed that the crystallinity of PA 11 was not modified by the presence of bamboo fibers. The physical aging observed in PA 11 is no more observed in composites due to physical interactions between PA 11 and BFs. The mechanical properties were investigated by tensile strength and dynamic mechanical analysis. The introduction of BFs enhanced Young's modulus of the matrix by a factor of 10. An intumescent flame retardant (IFR) system was prepared by 2 ways. Firstly, bis(2,6,7‐trioxa‐1‐phosphabicyclo[2,2,2]octane‐1‐oxa‐4‐hydroxymethyl) phosphonate methyl (bis‐PM) was synthesized and characterized by 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), 31P NMR, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopies. This carbonization agent was mixed with melamine (ME), ammonium polyphosphate (APP), and pentaerythritol (PER) to constitute an IFR system. Secondly, an IFR system by reaction was prepared by reaction, and the presence of compositions in product was confirmed by 1H NMR and Fourier transform infrared. Both of systems enhanced the flammable retardation of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) and polypropylene (PP). Flammability and thermal behaviors of IFR‐EVA and IFR‐PP were investigated by vertical burning test (UL‐94 V) and thermogravimetric analysis. Results indicated that the IFR systems performed excellent flame retardancy and antidripping ability for PP. At 30 wt% loading, the optimum flame retardant formulations that are bis‐PM/ME: 4/1, bis‐PM/ME/PER: 3/1/1, APP/ME/PER: 3/1/1, and bis‐PM/ME/PER/APP: 1.5/1.5/1/1 give UL‐94 V‐0 rating. However, V‐0 rating results were only obtained for EVA when systems contain bis‐PM/ME: 4/1 and bis‐PM/ME/PER: 3/1/1. The char yield from decomposition of the IFR‐EVA and IFR‐PP has effects on the flame retardancy and antidripping behaviors of EVA and PP. 相似文献

In order to improve the network recognition accuracy in the low complexity condition, a piecewise linear sigmoid function approximation based on the distribution probability of the neurons’ values is proposed only with one addition circuit. The sigmoid function is first divided into three fixed regions. Second, according to the neurons’ values distribution probability, the curve in each region is segmented into sub-regions to reduce the approximation error and improve the recognition accuracy. The slope of the piecewise linear function is set as 2-n, effectively reducing the hardware implementation complexity. Experiments performed on Xilinx’s FPGA-XC7A200T implement the MNIST handwritten digits recognition. The results show that the proposed method achieves a 97.45% recognition accuracy in a deep neural network and 98.42% in a convolutional neural network, up to 0.84% and 0.57% higher than other approximation methods only with one addition circuit. 相似文献

Ti1 ? xVxO2 (x = 0.0–0.10) nanopowders were successfully synthesized by a microwave-assisted sol–gel technique and their crystal structure and electronic structure were investigated. The products were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Raman and UV–Vis spectroscopy. The results revealed that TiO2 powders maintained the anatase phase for calcination temperature below 600 °C, but gradually changed to the rutile phase above 800 °C. The formation of the rutile phase was completed at 1000 °C. For Ti1 ? xVxO2 (x = 0.05) powders, the phase transformation appeared at 600 °C. The absorption edge of Ti1 ? xVxO2 (x > 0) powders broadened to the visible region with increasing V concentration and a strong visible light absorption was obtained with 10% V doping. V doping and subsequent coexistence of both anatase and rutile phases in our Ti1 ? xVxO2 nanoparticles are considered to be responsible for the enhanced absorption of visible light up to 800 nm. 相似文献

In some applications, the failure rate of the system depends not only on the time, but also upon the status of the system, such as vibration level, efficiency, number of random shocks on the system, etc., which causes degradation. In this paper, we develop a generalized condition-based maintenance model subject to multiple competing failure processes including two degradation processes, and random shocks. An average long-run maintenance cost rate function is derived based on the expressions for the degradation paths & cumulative shock damage, which are measurable. A geometric sequence is employed to develop the inter-inspection sequence. Upon inspection, one needs to decide whether to perform a maintenance, such as preventive or corrective, or to do nothing. The preventive maintenance thresholds for degradation processes & inspection sequences are the decision variables of the proposed model. We also present an algorithm based on the Nelder-Mead downhill simplex method to calculate the optimum policy that minimizes the average long-run maintenance cost rate. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the results using the optimization algorithm. 相似文献
