Single Camera 3—D Coordinate Measuring System Based on Optical Probe Imaging

A new vision coordinate measuring system-single camera 3-D coordinate measuring system based on optical probe imaging is presented.A new idea in vision coordinate measurement is proposed.A linear model is deduced which can distinguish six freedom degrees of optical probe to realize coordinate measurement of the object surface.The effects of some factors on the resolution of the system are analyzed.The simulating experiments have shown that the system model is available.     

NonMetallic Inclusion Distribution in Surface Layer of IF Steel Slabs

Nonmetallic inclusion distribution in the surface layer of IF steel slabs during unsteady casting was investigated using the original position statistic distribution analysis (OPA) method. It was found that most nonmetallic inclusions larger than 10 μm existed in the subsurface layers of 05-35 mm from the slab surfaces and very few large nonmetallic inclusions were found in the inner regions (≥45 mm from slab surfaces). In addition, it was found that at high casting speed level (14 m/min), even a slight change of casting speed could result in a remarkable increase of the nonmetallic inclusions. Thus, at high casting speed, changing the casting speed should be avoided or considerably lower speed changing rate must be used.

Influence of an Optimized Fibre Coating on Interfacial and Mechanical Properties of Glass Fibre／Polypropylene Composites

The influence of pretreatment of fibre on interfacial and mechanical properties of glass fibre/polypropylene composites was investigated.Firstly,the glass fibres were coated with the blends of m-IPP(maleic anhydride grafting isotatic polypropylene)and m-APP(maleic anhydride grafting amorphous polypropylene)in different ratios.Secondly,the interfacial reaction of the coated composites was analysed by FTIR，which shows that the interfacial chemical reaction reaction between m-IPP/m-APP in the fibre coating and the fibre suface-bound coupling agent is in existence.Thirdly,the microstructure of the coated composites was studied by SEM.The results indicate that the coating treatment if effective on improving interfacial adhesion of the fibre-matrix and the right amount of m-APP added to the coat impels the plastic deformation surrounding the point of cracks,which makes cracks turn to region and prevents from further interface debonding.Lastly,the mechanical properties were evaluated by measurement of the flexural strength and impact strength of the composites.It was fond that the flexural strength and impact strength of the composites with coating fibre are higher than those of uncoating fibre composite.The results of these investigations draw the conclusion that the pretreatment of fibre with m-IPP/m-APP blends can form an optimize interlayer between the fibre and the PP matrix,which improves both the strength and toughness of the composites.     

Development of an Experimental EUVL System

The authors have developed an experimental system for the studies of extreme ultraviolet projection lithography at 13.0nm wavelength, which includes a laser plasma source,an ellipsoidal condenser, a transmission mask and a Schwarzschild optics. The optical system is optimized to achieve 0.1μm resolution over a 0.1mm diameter image field of view and the mirrors of the objective were coated with Mo/Si multilayer to provide 60% reflectance atnear-normal incidence angle for 13.0nm radiation.
