This paper presents a high throughput digital design of the 128-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm based on the 2-slow retiming technique on FPGA. The C-slow retiming is a well-known optimization and high performance technique. It can enhance designs with feedback loops and automatically rebalances the registers in the design. The C-slow retiming can break the critical path of the design into finer pieces to improve the throughput of the design. The complexity of the C-slow retiming on FPGA is to find the best register allocation in the data path of the design so that by increasing the number of registers, relocation of the registers to balance the AES architecture be in the best mode, and the critical path be optimally pipelined and improved. In this paper, architecture of the AES algorithm is implemented in the gate level by high-speed and breakable structures that are desirable for the 2-slow retiming. The Mix-columns transformation is implemented based on multiplication by constants 2 and 3 modules with combinational logic circuits. This work has been successfully verified and synthesized using Xilinx ISE 11 byVirtex-5, XC5VLX85 FPGA. The proposed implementation achieves a high throughput of 86 Gb/s and high maximum operation frequency of 671.524 MHz whereas the highest throughput and the highest operation frequency reported in the literature are 73.737 Gb/s and 576.07 MHz, respectively.  相似文献

A new one-dimensional silver(I) coordination polymer, [Ag(μ-bpfb)(NO3)]n (1); bpfb = N,N′-bis(4-pyridylformamide)-1,4-benzene, has been synthesized and characterized by IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectroscopy. The single crystal X-ray data show that the silver(I) 1D coordination polymer grows into a three-dimensional network by hydrogen bonding and π–π stacking interactions. Compound 1 with nanorod morphology was also prepared by sonochemical method. The cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) as a cationic surfactant was used in reverse micelles technique to obtain spongy silver(I) bromide nanoparticles from compound 1. Also, different silver nanoparticles have been prepared via direct calcination at 673 K and thermal decomposition in oleic acid from compound 1. The nanostructures of [Ag(μ-bpfb)(NO3)]n (1), silver and silver(I) bromide were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy-dispersive X-ray (EDAX) analysis. Thermal stability of compound 1 in both bulk and nano-sized form was studied by thermal gravimetric (TG) and differential thermal (DT) analyses.  相似文献

Gas condensate reservoirs present complicated thermodynamic behavior when pressure falls below the dew point pressure, due to fluid dropout and change in the fluid composition. Condensate blockage in the near wellbore region reduces the well deliverability. Mixture composition change in the reservoir makes the interpretation of well tests in gas condensate reservoirs a serious challenge. In this study, at first the capillary number effect and Non-Darcy Flow on compositional simulation of gas condensate reservoirs were investigated and then well test analysis was carried out. The main objective of this work was to examine gas condensate well test analysis using single-phase gas pseudo-pressure and radial composite model assuming capillary number effect and Non-Darcy Flow. For this purpose some fluid samples were selected and results compared. Results indicate that estimation of reservoir properties below the dew point is in good agreement with actual input, particularly for lean fluid samples.  相似文献

A multi-fluid formulation based on the k? turbulence closure is used for modeling bubbly flow in vertical pipes. Each bubble-size group is considered as a separate dispersed phase. The current k? based multi-fluid models suffer from the problem of large overprediction of void fraction peak and lead to satisfactory results in limited ranges. In this study, first, we establish a model for gas lift simulations in wells. For this purpose, we propose new modified lift and wall force coefficients by tuning the model with many experimental databases. As shown here, the tuned multi-fluid model is able to predict flows in all the three bubbly flow subregimes, namely the wall-peak, core-peak, and transition subregimes, with reasonable accuracy. The predictions by the tuned model are compared with other numerical simulations, as well. Finally, the tuned model is used to simulate gas-lift problems in oil wells and the performance of eight empirical and semi-empirical correlations for predicting pressure drop is investigated, carefully. It is observed that, there is a correlation (i.e. Guet, S., Ooms, G., Oliemans, R.V.A., Mudde, R.F., 2004. Bubble size effect on low liquid input drift-flux parameters. Chem. Eng. Sci. 59, 3315–3329) which predicts gravitational pressure drop in very good agreement with the tuned multi-fluid model in all ranges of bubble diameters, including the wall-peak and core-peak regimes.  相似文献

In a galvanizing process a continuous sheet of steel is passed through a bath of molten zinc around a series of rotating rollers. One or more of these rollers are submerged in the bath of molten zinc and are supported by journal bearings that are lubricated with molten zinc. Dynamic characteristics of these bearings influence the quality of the finished galvanized sheet and also determine the production speed. This work presents a theoretical study of these bearings in terms of the damping, stiffness, and inertia coefficients of the film of molten zinc separating the journal from the bearings. This work also addresses the influence of turbulence on the bearing dynamics. The damping, stiffness, and inertia coefficients of journal bearings lubricated with molten zinc are determined for different zinc alloys at 450,650, and 850 °F.  相似文献

The present research investigated the effect of increased weld current on the apparent discontinuities, macrostructure, and hardness in the shielded metal arc welding of pipes. Thin, small pipes were butt welded, and the section view of the weld was observed using an optical microscope equipped with an image analyzer. Vickers hardness measurements were also made. The results indicated that the area of the melting zone and the width of the weld at the midpoint of pipe thickness were the appropriate parameters for assessing the weld current. In contrast, the lengths of the columnar grain zone and hardness values were not correlated with the current levels. A moderate current level caused the mechanical properties of the melting zone to become closer to those of the parent metal.  相似文献

This article proposes a bi‐criteria formulation to find the optimal location of light rapid transit stations in a network where demand is elastic and budget is constrained. Our model is composed of two competing objective functions seeking to maximize the total ridership and minimize the total budget allocated. In this research, demand is formulated using the random utility maximization method with variables including access time and travel time. The transit station location problem of this study is formulated using mixed integer programming and we propose a heuristic solution algorithm to solve large‐scale instances which is inspired by the problem context. The elastic demand is integrated with the optimization problem in an innovative way which facilitates the solution process. The performance of our model is evaluated on two test problems and we carry out its implementation on a real‐world instance. Due to the special shape of the Pareto front function, significant practical policy implications, in particular budget allocation, are discussed to emphasize the fact that the trade‐off between cost and benefit may result in large investments with little outcomes and vice versa.  相似文献

Titanium dioxide nanocrystals were employed, for the first time, for the sorption of Hg(II) ions from aqueous solutions. The effects of varying parameters such as pH, temperature, initial metal concentration, and contact time on the adsorption process were examined. Adsorption equilibrium was established in 420 min and the maximum adsorption of Hg(II) on the TiO2 was observed to occur at pH 8.0. The adsorption data correlated with Freundlich, Langmuir, Dubinin–Radushkevich (D–R), and Temkin isotherms. The Freundlich isotherm showed the best fit to the equilibrium data. The Pseudo-first order and pseudo-second-order kinetic models were studied to analyze the kinetic data. A second-order kinetic model fit the data with the (k2 = 2.8126 × 10?3 g mg?1min?1, 303 K). The intraparticle diffusion models were applied to ascertain the rate-controlling step. The thermodynamic parameters (ΔG°, ΔH°, and ΔS°) were calculated which showed an endothermic adsorption process. The equilibrium parameter (RL) indicated that TiO2 nanocrystals are useful for Hg(II) removal from aqueous solutions.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to achieve the colon-specific delivery of an anti-ulcerative colitis drug using hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) hydrogels. HPMC hydrogels containing poly ethylene glycol (PEG) as cross-links have been prepared by reacting HPMC sodium salt with polyethylene glycol dichloride.

The effect of cross-linking agent on swelling behavior of HPMC-PEG hydrogels, were investigated. Swelling parameters such as equilibrium degree of swelling, swelling ratio and network parameter such as molecular mass between cross-links (Mc) were determined. The cross-linking concentrations were 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, and 2% (based on weight of HPMC). The equilibrium swelling ratio (Q) of cross-linked HPMC hydrogels increases from 13.2 to 27.1 as the cross-linker percentage increases from 0.5% to 2%. 5-Aminosalicylic acid (5-ASA) was used as a model of an anti-inflammatory drug. Cross-linked HPMC hydrogels were found to be a promising drug delivery system for the drugs to be delivered to the colon.  相似文献
