Since, in a practical system perfect channel state information (CSI) is not possible due to presence of noise. This paper deals with the performance of space-time trellis code (STTC) in multi-carrier code-division multiple-access systems in presence of channel estimation (CE) error and results are compared with perfect CSI at the receiver. The pilot symbol assisted (PSA) technique is used for CE employing minimum mean-square error method. The symbol error rate (SER) performance is observed by employing Viterbi decoding algorithm to decode STTC code at the receiver in multi-path fading channel. The simulated SER performances in presence of CE error and with perfect CSI are compared with the theoretical performances to validate the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

An extensive theoretical study of the superconducting state parameters (SSPs), that is, electron-phonon coupling strength λ, Coulomb pseudopotential μ*, transition temperature T C , isotope effect exponent α, and effective interaction strength N 0 V of Pb-Tl-Bi alloys, including Tl0.90Bi0.10, Pb0.40Tl0.60, Pb0.60Tl0.40, Pb0.80Tl0.20, Pb0.60Tl0.20Bi0.20, Pb0.90Bi0.10, Pb0.80Bi0.20, Pb0.70Bi0.30, Pb0.65Bi0.35, and Pb0.45Bi0.55, has been conducted for the first time using model potential formalism. A considerable influence of various exchange and correlation functions on λ and μ* is found. The obtained values of the SSPs are in qualitative agreement with the available experimental data.  相似文献

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a novel and simple photonic microwave notch filter that uses a high-birefringent fiber that gives a fixed differential group delay (DGD), together with a DGD element that gives a tunable DGD. This configuration overcomes the problems of optical coherence interference and chromatic dispersion, which may occur in schemes that use fiber delay lines or fiber gratings. Also presented is a theoretical analysis for the performance of the microwave filter that uses the present configuration. The present scheme provides a continuous tuning capability for changing the notch frequency. Measured notch rejection is greater than 40 dB. This scheme can operate over a wide wavelength range of the optical carrier. There is good agreement between experiment results and theoretical analysis.  相似文献

Nanoparticle formation in the, rf-sputtering grown, polycrystalline CeO2 thin films is achieved by the swift heavy ion (SHI) irradiation. Crystal structure and phases present in the as-grown and irradiated thin films are investigated by the X-ray diffraction (XRD) measurements. Irradiation induced formation of spherically shaped nanostructures, on the film surface, is confirmed by the atomic force microscopy (AFM). The Raman spectra of the irradiated samples show increased line-width and peak position shifting in the Raman active mode (F2g) of CeO2, indicative of the nanocrystallization in the irradiated CeO2 thin films. Formation of nanostructures in the irradiated samples is also briefly discussed in the light of ion energy and energy loss mechanisms.  相似文献

We propose a continuously tunable, dual free spectral range (FSR) photonic microwave notch filter configuration using a high-birefringence linearly chirped fiber Bragg grating (Hi-Bi LCFBG) that is connected in a Sagnac loop using a Hi-Bi coupler. The configuration employs double sideband modulation and can generate two FSRs simultaneously. The larger FSR corresponds to the differential time delay of the Hi-Bi LCFBG and the Hi-Bi pigtails of the coupler; the smaller FSR corresponds to the time delay between the arms of the Sagnac loop. Measured results demonstrate dual FSR, a large notch rejection, and that the FSR is easily tunable by tuning the LCFBG. We also present the filter transfer function for the design. Experimental results agree well with the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

For the Alloy 617, the effect of aging on the fracture energy degradation has been investigated after aging for different time periods at 1023 K (750 °C). A sharp reduction in impact energy (by ~55 pct vis-à-vis the as-received material) after 1000 hours of aging, as evaluated from room-temperature Charpy impact tests, has been observed. Further aging up to 10,000 hours has led to a degradation of fracture energy up to ~78 pct. Fractographic examinations using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) have revealed a change in fracture mode from fibrous-ductile for the un-aged material to intergranular mode for the aged one. The extent of intergranular fracture increases with the increasing aging time, indicating a tendency of the material to undergo grain boundary embrittlement over long-term aging. Analysis of the transmission electron microscopy (TEM) micrographs along with selected area diffraction (SAD) patterns for the samples aged at 10,000 hours revealed finely dispersed γ′ precipitates of size 30 to 40 nm, rich in Al and Ti, along with extensive precipitation of M23C6 at the grain boundaries. In addition, the presence of Ni3Si of size in the range of 110 to 120 nm also has been noticed. The extensive precipitation of M23C6 at the grain boundaries have been considered as a major reason for aging-induced embrittlement of this material.  相似文献
