Two new 14-membered cyclopeptide alkaloids, Oxyphylline B (4) and Oxyphylline C (5), along with three known 13-membered cyclopeptide alkaloids, were isolated from stem and roots of Zizyphus oxyphylla Edgew. The compounds were tested for antibacterial activity. Oxyphylline B (4) showed comparatively better antibacterial activities against Escherichia coli (MIC, 5 μg/mL) than other compounds. This compound also exhibited weak antimicrobial activities against Staphylococcus aureus (MIC, 25 μg/mL), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (MIC, 50 μg/mL) and Salmonella typhi (MIC, 50 μg/mL).  相似文献

In feasibility studies and mine planning, accurate and effective tools and methods facilitating cost estimation play an important role. Load-Haul-Dump (LHD) machines are a key loading and haulage equipment in most of the underground metal mines and hard rock tunnels. In this paper, a cost estimation model of these vehicles has been presented in the form of single and multivariable functions. These functions have been provided on the basis of costs types (i.e. capital and operating costs) and motor types (diesel and electric). Independent variables, in the single regression analysis is bucket capacity and in Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) analysis include bucket capacity, overall width, overall machine height and horse power (HP). The MLR is conducted in three steps. First, with the help of Principal Component Analysis (PCA), correlation between independent variables is omitted. Thereafter, significant PCs are selected and used as independent variables in the MLR functions. Finally, the cost relationships are established as functions of initial LHD variables. The mean absolute error rates are 11.59% and 6.87% for the single and multiple linear regression functions, respectively.  相似文献

This study intends to investigate the vibration behavior of a thin square orthotropic plate resting on non-uniform elastic foundation and its thickness varying in one or two directions. By using the classical plate theory and employing element free Galerkin method, it is shown that the fundamental frequency coefficients obtained are in good agreement with available results in the literature. The effects of thickness variation, foundation parameter and boundary conditions on frequency are investigated. The results show that the method converges very fast regardless of parameters involved.  相似文献

This study involves the evaluation of the effect of certain stabilizers, that is, citric acid (CT), tartaric acid (TA) and boric acid (BA) on the degradation of ascorbic acid (AH(2) ) in oil-in-water cream formulations exposed to the UV light and stored in the dark. The apparent first-order rate constants (0.34-0.95 × 10(-3) min(-1) in light, 0.38-1.24 × 10(-2) day(-1) in dark) for the degradation reactions in the presence of the stabilizers have been determined. These rate constants have been used to derive the second-order rate constants (0.26-1.45 × 10(-2) M(-1) min(-1) in light, 3.75-8.50 × 10(-3) M(-1) day(-1) in dark) for the interaction of AH(2) and the individual stabilizers. These stabilizers are effective in causing the inhibition of the rate of degradation of AH(2) both in the light and in the dark. The inhibitory effect of the stabilizers is in the order of CT > TA > BA. The rate of degradation of AH(2) in the presence of these stabilizers in the light is about 120 times higher than that in the dark. This could be explained on the basis of the deactivation of AH(2) -excited triplet state by CT and TA and by the inhibition of AH(2) degradation through complex formation with BA. AH(2) leads to the formation of dehydroascorbic acid (A) by chemical and photooxidation in cream formulations.  相似文献

Microbiological, chemical and physical changes of sea bass slices wrapped with gelatin film incorporated with 25% (w/w) lemongrass essential oil (LEO) during storage of 12 days at 4 °C were investigated. Sea bass slices wrapped with LEO film had the retarded growth of lactic acid bacteria (LAB), psychrophilic bacteria and spoilage microorganisms including H?S-producing bacteria and Enterobacteriaceae throughout storage of 12 days in comparison with the control and those wrapped with gelatin film without LEO (G film) (P<0.05). Lowered changes of colour, K value, total volatile base nitrogen (TVB) and TBARS value were also found in LEO film wrapped samples, compared with those wrapped with G film and control, respectively. Therefore, the incorporation of LEO into gelatin film could enhance the antimicrobial and antioxidative properties of the film, thereby maintaining the qualities and extending the shelf-life of the sea bass slices stored at refrigerated temperature.  相似文献

Pig (Sus sp.) and pig by-products are considered as najasa (impurities) in Islam and forbidden in Muslim consumer products. Animals fed on najasa are categorised as al-jallālah (contaminated animals) which are allowed to be consumed as long as they have been quarantined for a certain period of time. During this quarantine period the animals will have undergone a natural purification process or istihālah. African catfish (Clarias gariepinus) are commonly consumed in Malaysia and may be fed on najasa. This study was carried out to estimate the istihālah period for catfish after feeding with pig offal, based on the absence of pig DNA in catfish gut and to suggest the quarantine period in catfish fed with pig offal. The results indicated that the maximum istihālah period could reach 36h in the stomach, 6h in the midgut and less than 2h in the hindgut although in many cases shorter periods were observed. Based on these results it is estimated that the minimum quarantine period for catfish fed with pig offal is 1.5days.  相似文献

In the present study, the effects of high drying temperature and UV light induced aging on bonding quality of plywood manufactured from untreated and treated veneer layers were investigated. Rotary cut veneers with dimensions of 500 mm×500 mm×2 mm produced from beech (Fagus orientalis Lipsky) log were selected for topochemical, chemical and mechanical analyses. The veneer sheets were oven-dried at 100°C and 180°C after the peeling process. Afterwards, the surfaces were exposed to artificial UV irradiation in an UV chamber for 24 h, 48 h and 72 h representing natural sun irradiation of 2, 4 and 6 months, respectively. Topochemical distribution of lignin and phenolic extractives of the treated and untreated veneers was investigated on a cellular level using UV microspectrophotometry (UMSP). For the chemical characterization of accessory compounds high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was used. Furthermore, the shear and bending strengths of plywood manufactured from the treated samples are determined in order to study the bonding quality. The UV microscopic detection shows that after high drying temperature and aging treatment, lignin condensation occurs. With increasing drying temperature and aging duration, more phenolic extractives are situated in parenchyma cells and vessel lumens which can be proved by increased absorbance at 278 nm. The HPLC analysis of the treated tissue showed distinct signals of polymerized compounds such as catechin and 2,6-dimethoxybenzoquinone which are chromophoric compounds in discolored beech wood. The mechanical properties of plywood showed that with increasing drying temperature up to 180°C does not negatively affect shear and bending strengths of samples. After exposure of the veneers to UV irradiation (especially 6 months), decreasing shear and bending strengths of plywood samples can be observed.  相似文献

In this work, Ni–Co alloy coating on the surface of glassy carbon (GC) electrode was performed by cyclic voltammetry. The results showed that the deposition of Ni–Co is an anomalous process. The deposition bath was prepared according to the metal ion Ni/Co ratio of 4:1 using NiSO4·7H2O and CoSO4·8H2O, and the total concentration of all solutions was 40.0 mM. The pH of the bath solution was adjusted at 2.0 using boric acid at room temperature. The modified electrode was conditioned by potential recycling in a potential range of 100–700 mV (vs. Ag/AgCl) by cyclic voltammetric method in an alkaline solution. The Ni–Co modified electrode showed a higher activity towards methanol oxidation in the Ni (III) and Co (IV) oxidation states. Cyclic voltammetry was used for the electrochemical characterization of the Ni–Co modified electrode and the mechanism of methanol oxidation is proposed. The result of double steps chronoamperometry shows that the methanol electrooxidation is an irreversible reaction. Moreover, the effects of various parameters such as mole ratio of Ni–Co in the alloy in modification step, potential scan rate, methanol concentration and solution temperature on the electro-oxidation of methanol have also been investigated.  相似文献

A mixed-valent nickel hexacyanoferrate and poly(1-naphthol) hybrid (NiHCF–PNH) film was prepared on a gold (Au) electrode by a galvanostatic method, which led to stable and homogeneous hybrid film. The film was characterized using scanning electronic microscopy, cyclic voltammetry, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. This electrode showed excellent catalytic properties toward dopamine (DA) detection, using cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry methods. The electrocatalytic oxidations of DA at different electrodes, such as a bare Au electrode or a poly(1-naphthol)/Au-, or NiHCF–PNH/Au-modified electrode, were investigated in a phosphate buffer solution (pH 7). Interestingly, the NiHCF–PNH-modified electrode facilitated the oxidation of DA, but it did not responded to other electroactive biomolecules, such as ascorbic acid and uric acid. The DA electrochemical sensor exhibited a linear response from 0.1 to 4.3 μM (R2 = 0.9984) and from 4.3 to 9.6 μM (R2 = 0.9969), with a detection limit of 2.1 × 10?8 M, and a short response time (3 s) for DA determination. In addition, the NiHCF–PNH-modified electrode exhibited distinct advantages by its simple preparation, specificity, and stability.  相似文献

The influence of linear copolymer of amines and formaldehyde namely poly(aniline‐formaldehyde) (Inh1), poly(o‐toluidene‐formaldehyde) (Inh2), and poly(p‐chloroaniline‐formaldehyde) (Inh3) on corrosion of mild steel in hydrochloric acid was evaluated by weight loss measurements, linear polarization, Tafel polarization, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. These polymers showed very high inhibition efficiency at very low concentrations. Results obtained showed that all inhibitors are mixed inhibitors and participate in reaction probably in the form of metal inhibitor complex on metal surface. Atomic force microscopic studies reveal that the surface of metal is quite unaffected after use of inhibitor in hydrochloric acid solution. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
