We experienced 8 cases who required reoperations, including 2 re-redo operations, after repairs of infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysms. Of 8 patients, one patient developed a new aneurysm due to atherosclerosis in thoraco-abdominal aorta involving all visceral arteries and other 7 patients had aneurysmal formations at proximal anastomotic sites, including 3 suprarenal, 2 juxtarenal and 2 infrarenal aortic lesions. Etiology at initial operation in patients who subsequently developed anastomotic aneurysms included vasculo-Beh?et disease in 4, atherosclerosis in 2 and dissecting aortic aneurysms type III due to Marfan syndrome in 1. At reoperation, all who had vasculo-Beh?et disease had ruptures of anastomotic sites and 2 patients underwent repairs of dehiscent patch, 1 extra-anatomic bypass between ascending and abdominal aorta and 1 interposition of graft. One patient who had graft infection after repair of abdominal aortic aneurysm required axillo-femoral bypass with removal of infected graft. A patient who had dehiscence of proximal anastomosis after repair of aortoiliac occlusive disease required interposition of graft. Two patients, Marfan syndrome and aneurysm in thoraco-abdominal aorta, underwent graft replacement of thoraco-abdominal aorta concomitant with reconstruction of all visceral arteries. There were 8 patients who required reoperations for aneurysms at distal anastomotic sites after repairs of abdominal aortic aneurysms. Five patients underwent repairs of new aneurysms, including replacement of total arch in 3, descending aorta in 1 and iliac artery in 1. In all cases, no hospital death was noted, however, late deaths were occurred in vasculo-Beh?et disease, Marfan syndrome and graft infection. Thus, late result depends on etiology of disease. Although patients who requires reoperation after repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms have higher operative risk factors, early and late results are satisfactory compared to initial operations.  相似文献

The genetics of resistance to disease is an area of great interest in agriculturally important plant and animal species. Selective breeding for resistance to pathogens in plants, animals and insects has demonstrated that resistance and susceptibility to pathogens are controlled by both genetic and environmental factors. The immune loci causally involved in susceptibility and resistance to disease are currently unknown. However, novel enabling molecular technologies promise to assist in unravelling the genetics of the host response to infectious diseases in new ways, and ultimately to improve seed stock genetics.  相似文献

In order to decompose endocrine disruption chemicals (EDCs) in sewage effluent, ozone based oxidation of nonylphenol (NP), bisphenol A (BPA) and 17β-estradiol (E2) was investigated. Experimental results showed that these EDCs were decomposed easily even in the presence of other organic substances of TOC 5 mg/L. The simulation using kinetic constants obtained from the experiments indicated that these EDCs in sewage effluent were removed to below the detection limit with an amount of ozone consumed less than 0.5 mg/L. Ozonation also reduced the estrogenic activity and the aquatic acute toxicity of these EDCs solution. From these results it was concluded that ozonation was very effective in decomposing these EDCs in sewage effluent.  相似文献

Mediolateral, flexed mediolateral, mediocaudal-laterocranial 15 degrees oblique (extended and supinated mediolateral), and craniolateral-caudomedial 20 degrees to 30 degrees oblique radiographs of 16 elbow-joint specimens were produced to study the radiographic anatomy of the medial coronoid process. On the mediolateral view, the cranial point of the coronoid process was at the level of the distal one-third of the radial epiphysis. Degree of superimposition of the proximal radius and ulna determined how the medial coronoid process was projected on the radiographs. Mediocaudal-laterocranial oblique radiographs best showed the cranial outline of the medial coronoid process with moderate superimposition of the proximal radius and ulna.  相似文献

Emulsion polymerization of styrene (St) and vinyl acetate (VAc) in the presence of conventional polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), PVA modified with a terminal alkyl group or PVA modified with a terminal thiol group (HS-PVA) was compared. Whereas stable PVAc latexes were obtained, a stable PSt latex was obtained only in the case of HS-PVA. From the adsorption isotherms of these PVAs on the surface of PVAc and PSt latex particles, as well as the grafting efficiencies of VAc and St onto HS-PVA in relation to the stability of the polymerization process, the role of PVA in the emulsion polymerization was discussed.  相似文献

This paper describes 3.3-V BiCMOS circuit techniques for a 120-MHz RISC microprocessor. The processor is implemented in a 0.5-μm BiCMOS technology with 4-metal-layer structure. The chip includes a 240 MFLOPS fully pipelined 64-b floating point datapath, a 240-MIPS integer datapath, and 24 KB cache, and contains 2.8 million transistors. The processor executes up to four operations at 120 MHz and dissipates 17 W. Novel BiCMOS circuits, such as a 0.6-ns single-ended common base sense amplifier, a 0.46-ns 22-b comparator, and a 0.7-ns path logic adder are applied to the processor. The processor with the proposed BiCMOS circuits has a 11%-47% shorter delay time advantage over a CMOS microprocessor  相似文献
