Abstract: An efficient knowledge-acquisition support method is required for improvement and maintenance of the knowledge base in durability evaluation of an RC bridge deck. Such a method is proposed in this paper to automatically acquire fuzzy production rules. This method makes joint use of genetic algorithms and a neural network. Using a neural network as a subsystem, the evaluation function of genetic algorithms can be provided with the weights of the neural network. Introducing a neural network into genetic algorithms, it is possible to acquire new knowledge so that the method is useful when it is difficult to acquire knowledge in the field. 相似文献

The second virial coefficients of refrigerants HFC-32 (CH2F2), HFC-23 (CHF3), and HCFC-22 (CHC1F2) have been correlated on the bisis of site site model potential and have been compared with experimental results. The molecular interactions consisted of repulsion dispersion and electrostatic parts. From the site site potentials adjusted to the experimental second virial coefficients, spherically averaged potentials have been determined and a subsequent calculation of gaseous viscosity has been carried out. Agreement between measured and calculated values of second virial coellicients and gaseous viscosity is satisfactory. Calculated values of second virial coefficients and gaseous viscosity beyond available experimental data, therefore. can be assumed as a reliable extrapolation to lower and higher temperatures. 相似文献

A new finishing process for metal molds by large-area electron beam (EB) irradiation is proposed in this study. In the large-area EB irradiation equipment used here, an EB with high-energy density is irradiated without focusing the beam, and so the EB with a maximum diameter of 60 mm can be used for melting or evaporating metal surface instantly. Experimental results show that the surface roughness decreases from 6 μmRz to less than 1 μmRz in just a few minutes under proper machining conditions. The corrosion resistance of metal mold surface also could be greatly improved by large-area EB irradiation. Furthermore, the surface roughness of tilting surface close to 90° could be well improved. Therefore, large-area EB irradiation method has a possibility to become a high-efficiency finishing process for metal molds. 相似文献

Anion exchange membranes with excellent durability were prepared by chemical modification of Nafion. The modification was achieved by transformation of the sulfonic acid group into quaternary ammonium group. Namely, Nafion membrane was first converted into an amide-type membrane. Reduction of the carbonxyl group to methylene followed by quaternarization with alkyl iodide resulted in the formation of an anion exchange membrane. The electric resistance of the resulting membranes depends on the equivalent weight of the starting membranes (4.4–6.0 Ω cm2 in 0.5N NaCl). The characteristics of the membranes are the excellent stability toward chemical substances such as organic solvents, oxidizing agents, acids, etc. For example, the membranes are stable in aqueous saturated chlorine solution at 60°C for 1000 hr. 相似文献

A response surface model of the luminous flame emissivity of sodium pool fire has been proposed for use in safety analysis computer codes of a liquid metal fast reactor. The liquid sodium burns in air resulting in not only heat generation but also release of sodium oxide aerosols of sub-micron diameters. Aerosols levitating in air are radiative and they influence the allocation of combustion heat from the flame to atmospheric gas or sodium pool. The emissivity of the flame needs to be quantified, as it is one of user-specified parameters of the computer codes for the sodium fire analysis. The response surface model of the flame emissivity is developed based on numerical experiments on the physics of mass and heat transfer and behavior of the aerosol. Thermal-hydraulic equations have been solved coupled with aerosol dynamics and chemical reaction. Three influential variables on the emissivity are identified as pool temperature, gas temperature and oxygen molar fraction in the air. It has been found that the emissivity is calculated reasonably as a function of the three variables. The proposed response surface model can be easily employed in the sodium fire analysis codes because it is a simple quadratic expression. For the safety evaluation of the sodium fire, combined use is recommended of the proposed model and the lumped-mass zone model code. 相似文献

The roller drawing of ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) sheets were carried out in the roller temperature Tr range of 100–140°C. In addition to the roller drawing in the solid state (Tr = 100°C), we attempted to crystallize the molten UHMW-PE sheet under the roller-drawing process (Tr = 100–140°C). The tensile and dynamic viscoelastic properties, the molecular orientation, and the microstructure of the roller-drawn UHMW-PE sheets were investigated. The mechanical properties of UHMW-PE sheets were much improved by crystallization during the roller drawing process at Tr = 140°C. The sheets roller-drawn at Tr = 135 and 140°C exhibited c-axis orientation to the draw direction and (100) alignment in the sheet plane. However, at Tr = 100°C the elastic motion of the amorphous chains induces the twinnings of lattice, which enhances the transition to the (110) alignment in the sheet plane. The dynamic storage modulus below γ-dispersion temperature showed good correlation with crystallinity and orientation functions, while taut tie molecules and thick crystallites play an important role in the storage modulus above γ-dipersion temperature. 相似文献

A three-dimensional pin power reconstruction method was proposed and verified by applying to the axially heterogeneous region problem of the BWR core calculation. Because the production assembly calculation has been carried out by two-dimensional deterministic calculation methods like current coupling collision probability or the method of characteristics, it has been difficult to predict the detailed three-dimensional heterogeneous pin power distribution of the axially heterogeneous region. Summary The purpose of the paper is to consider theoretically the characteristics of steady two-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic boundary layer flow past a flat plate with pressure gradient in the presence of transverse magnetic field and its stability problem. The boundary layer equation is transformed into a non-similar one and numerical solutions are obtained by the difference-differential method. The neutral stability curves for wavelike disturbances of Tollmien-Schlichting type are then presented for the velocity profiles obtained above.
