The photovoltaic properties of bulk-heterojunction solar cells with an active layer made of an alternating fluorene copolymer, poly{[2,7-(9,9-bis-(2-ethylhexyl)-fluorene)]-alt-[5,5-(4,7-di-2′-thienyl-2,1,3-benzothiadiazole)]}, and [6,6]-phenyl-C71-butyric acid methylester are investigated by varying the blend composition and the incident light power intensity. An efficient donor-acceptor intermixing is reached with donor to acceptor weight ratios of at least 1:3, while at lower acceptor content charge trapping effects are evidenced by the light intensity dependent study. Reverse bias analysis demonstrates that a major limiting factor for the performance of the investigated solar cells is represented by the poor ability of the generation of free charge carriers, attributed to the low hole mobility in the polymer phase.  相似文献

The design of an innovative shell-and-tube heat pump condenser using 2 mm ID minichannels is presented. This condenser has been designed aiming at the minimization of the charge, which can be required by safety or environmental restrictions. Nevertheless, minichannels represent also a solution to the high-pressure challenge when using carbon dioxide as a refrigerant. The present prototype was realized for the use with propane in the framework of the European project SHERHPA, concerning the development of heat pumps working with natural fluids. Experimental data for heat transfer and pressure drop are reported in the present paper. The measurements have been obtained using refrigerant R22, which displays a temperature versus pressure saturation curve pretty close to the one of propane. The data have also been compared against a computational procedure for shell-and-tube heat exchangers design. The refrigerant charge has been computed by means of different void fraction correlations, showing that the expected charge is less than half the quantity required by a brazed plate condenser giving the same capacity.  相似文献

The study presents a numerical investigation of the dynamical behavior of a rectangular natural circulation loop with horizontal heat exchanging sections. The study has been developed in a two-dimensional domain considering uniform wall temperatures, UWT, at the horizontal sections and thermally insulated vertical legs as thermal boundary conditions. The governing equations have been solved using a control volume method solving the velocity-pressure coupling with the SIMPLER algorithm. The analysis has been performed for a fixed geometry of the loop and for various Rayleigh numbers, separating the values of Rayleigh for which the system manifests stable and unstable dynamics. In the last case, it is shown that the vortices are responsible for the birth of the oscillations and for the growth of temperature gradients.  相似文献

The Staphylococci populations in different types of Iberian dry fermented sausages from central-west Spain were identified. A simple electrophoretic method of whole-cell proteins and extracellular protein profiling was evaluated for speed of identification. This study was correlated with a 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis and biochemical identification by API Staph. A total of 81 isolates were identified by SDS-PAGE of the whole-cell proteins. These showed stable profiles in the range 99-14kDa that were clearly different for the different species, and were grouped into clusters together with the profiles of the eight reference strains. SDS-PAGE of the extracellular protein extracts provided additional characteristic banding patterns for the characterization of the Staphylococcus species present. The whole-cell SDS-PAGE showed that the predominant species was Staphylococcus saprophyticus (61.7%) followed by Staphylococcus aureus (19.7%). The identifications were confirmed by the 16S rRNA gene sequencing and by a BLAST search of the GenBank database. However, the API Staph biochemical identifications were frequently erroneous at the species level. In sum, SDS-PAGE analysis showed itself to be rapid and accurate in identifying the most commonly encountered Staphylococcus isolates in dry fermented sausages.  相似文献

Knowing the probability of occurrence of a flood event is an important issue for water resources planning. At‐site probability models require a long extension of hydrological data for robust estimation of low‐frequency events. As the mean record length of 25 gauge stations in western river basins of Argentina is 49 years (until 2010), regional models are an interesting tool to determine mountain rivers system dynamics. This study aims to estimate low‐frequency quantiles of annual maximum flow in Argentinean western river basins (28°S–37°S) applying regional frequency analysis based on the L‐moments method. Besides, mean annual maximum flow of 75 gauge stations (22°S–52°S) was analysed. First, an exploratory data analysis was performed; normality, independence, and randomness were accepted in the 27%, 87%, and 91% of cases, respectively. Increasing trends in annual maximum flows in the north‐western and central‐western rivers of Argentina were detected, whereas decreasing trends in annual maximum flow in the Patagonian Andes were identified. Base on at‐site characteristics and at‐site statistics, a homogeneous region of 12 stations with a record period of 568 years was formed. General extreme value was the most appropriate distribution for this homogeneous study region. Estimation accuracy using Monte Carlo simulations was performed. The error bounds were set at 90%, the mean square error was 9.23%, and the relative bias was 1.6%. The regional method performed better than the at‐site estimation.  相似文献

We investigated CH4 oxidation in the water column of Lake Kivu, a deep meromictic tropical lake with CH4-rich anoxic deep waters. Depth profiles of dissolved gases (CH4 and N2O) and a diversity of potential electron acceptors for anaerobic CH4 oxidation (NO3?, SO42?, Fe and Mn oxides) were determined during six field campaigns between June 2011 and August 2014. Denitrification measurements based on stable isotope labelling experiments were performed twice. In addition, we quantified aerobic and anaerobic CH4 oxidation, NO3? and SO42? consumption rates, with and without the presence of an inhibitor of SO42?-reducing bacteria activity. Aerobic CH4 production was also measured in parallel incubations with the addition of an inhibitor of aerobic CH4 oxidation. The maximum aerobic and anaerobic CH4 oxidation rates were estimated to be 27?±?2 and 16?±?8?μmol/L/d, respectively. We observed a difference in the relative importance of aerobic and anaerobic CH4 oxidation during the rainy and the dry season, with a greater role for aerobic oxidation during the dry season. Lower anaerobic CH4 oxidation rates were measured in presence of molybdate in half of the measurements, suggesting the occurrence of linkage between SO42? reduction and anaerobic CH4 oxidation. NO3? consumption and dissolved Mn production rates were never high enough to sustain the measured anaerobic CH4 oxidation, reinforcing the idea of a coupling between SO42? reduction and CH4 oxidation in the anoxic waters of Lake Kivu. Finally, significant rates (up to 0.37?μmol/L/d) of pelagic CH4 production were also measured in oxygenated waters.  相似文献

In this work we present an integrated interface for wide range resistive gas sensors able to heat the sensor resistance through a constant power heater block at 0°C–350°C operating temperatures. The proposed temperature control system is formed by a sensor heater (which fixes the sensor temperature at about 200°C), a R/f (or R/T) converter, which converts the resistive value into a period (or frequency), and can be able to reveal about 6 decades variation (from 10 KΩ up to 10 GΩ), and a digital subsystem that control the whole systems loop. This interface allows high sensibility and precision and performs good stability in temperature and power supply drift and low power characteristics so it can be used also in portable applications. Test measurements, performed on the fabricated chip, have shown an excellent agreement between theoretical expectations and simulation results. Giuseppe Ferri is an associate professor in Electronics at the Department of Electrical Engineering of L’ Aquila University, Ital. In 1993 he has been a visiting researcher at SGS-Thomson Milano, working in bipolar low-voltage op-amp design. In 1994-95 he has been visiting researcher at KU Leuven working in low-voltage CMOS design in the group of Prof. Sansen. His research activity is actually centred on the analog design of integrated circuits for portable applications (e.g., sensors and biomedicals) and circuit theory. He is co-author of a book entitled “Low Voltage, Low Power CMOS Current Conveyors”, Kluwer ed. (2003) and four text-books in Italian on Analogue Microelectronics (2005, 2006). Moreover, he is author and co-author of 74 papers on international and Italian journals and 123 talks at national and international conferences. Vincenzo Stornelli was born in Avezzano (AQ), Italy, on May 31, 1980. He received the Electronics Engineering degree (cum laude) in July 2004. In October 2004 he joined the Department of Electronic Engineering, University of L’Aquila, where he is actually involved with problems concerning project and design of integrated circuits for RF and sensor applications, CAD modelling, characterization, and design analysis of active microwave components, circuits, and subsystems. An experimental infrared method for the thermal characterisation of semiconductor devices during fast transient operation, in the range from a few microseconds and up to some milliseconds, is presented. The features which make it suitable and convenient, particularly for use with power electronics applications are pointed out; its time and space resolution are illustrated by means of properly chosen examples. The considered solution qualifies as a very versatile and powerful tool in many diverse lines of investigation.  相似文献

The synthesis of two new thieno(bis)imide (TBI, N) end functionalized oligothiophene semiconductors is reported. In particular, trimer (NT3N) and pentamer (NT5N) have been synthesized and characterized. Two different synthetic approaches for their preparation were tested and compared namely conventional Stille cross coupling and direct arylation reaction via C–H activation. Theoretical calculations, optical and electrochemical characterization allowed us to assess the role of the π-conjugation extent, i.e., of the oligomer size on the optoelectronic properties of these materials. In both TBI ended compounds, due to the strong localization of the LUMO orbital on the TBI unit, the LUMO energy is almost insensitive to the oligomer size, this being crucial for the fine-tailoring of the energy and the distribution of the frontier orbitals. Surprisingly, despite its short size and contrarily to comparable TBI-free analogues, NT3N shows electron charge transport with mobility up to μN = 10−4 cm2 V−1 s−1, while increasing the oligomer size to NT5N promotes ambipolar behavior and electroluminescence properties with mobility up to μN = 0.14 cm2 V−1 s−1 and to μP = 10−5 cm2 V−1 s−1.  相似文献

The performance of parameter estimates and standard errors in estimating F. Samejima’s graded response model was examined across 324 conditions. Full information maximum likelihood (FIML) was compared with a 3-stage estimator for categorical item factor analysis (CIFA) when the unweighted least squares method was used in CIFA’s third stage. CIFA is much faster in estimating multidimensional models, particularly with correlated dimensions. Overall, CIFA yields slightly more accurate parameter estimates, and FIML yields slightly more accurate standard errors. Yet, across most conditions, differences between methods are negligible. FIML is the best election in small sample sizes (200 observations). CIFA is the best election in larger samples (on computational grounds). Both methods failed in a number of conditions, most of which involved 200 observations, few indicators per dimension, highly skewed items, or low factor loadings.
