In this paper, novel current-mode analog multiplier/divider circuits based on a pair of voltage-translinear loops are presented, featuring simplicity, precision and wide dynamic range. They are suitable for standard CMOS fabrication and can be successfully employed in a wide range of analog signal processing applications. Two versions, based on stacked and up-down voltage-translinear loops, respectively, are described. Experimental results are provided in order to verify their correct operation.  相似文献

The creep behavior of tetragonal zirconia TZP–Ni cermets with metal contents below, close to, and above the percolation limit has been studied. Compressive creep tests were performed on as-received materials and samples in which the metal phase was chemically removed (ceramic skeletons). The stress exponent and the activation energy for plastic flow are independent of the nickel content and decrease continuously on increasing the stress and/or the temperature; skeleton structures display the same trend, suggesting that creep is controlled by the zirconia matrix. The steady-state constitutive equation for high-purity monolithic zirconia applies to the cermets when the stress is corrected with the porosity and volume fraction of percolated nickel.  相似文献

We have designed a multispectral imaging acquisition system to measure the relative concentration values of myoglobin forms inside meat during oxygenation. Images at 474, 525, 572 and 610 nm are used to compute the concentration of reduced myoglobin, oxymyoglobin and metmyoglobin with a spatial resolution of 0.0125 mm/pixel. From these images, pigment concentration profiles as a function of oxygenation time and depth beneath the surface were obtained. A model describing the diffusion of oxygen and the consumption of reduced myoglobin is numerically tested versus the measured concentration profiles. The model accurately fits the data with a Mean Root Squared Error equal to 0.253%. Precise definitions for position and width of pigment layers based in concentration profiles are given. The results suggest that multispectral imaging techniques combined with precise control and measurement of sample temperature and oxygen partial pressure will permit detailed studies of the myoglobin chemistry during oxygenation.  相似文献

Perfluorierte Tenside (PFT) werden seit einigen Jahren weltweit in der Umwelt, in menschlichen Blut- und Muttermilchproben sowie in Lebensmitteln nachgewiesen. In den letzten Jahren wurden auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene - zum überwiegenden Teil vorl?ufige - Risikobewertungen für die perfluorierten Tenside Perfluoroctans?ure (PFOA) und Perfluoroctansulfons?ure (PFOS) erarbeitet. Diese beiden Verbindungen werden als Leitsubstanzen für die Substanzklasse angesehen. Aus Sicht der humantoxikologischen Bewertung sind die lange Persistenz im menschlichen Organismus und die F?higkeit, im Tierversuch verschiedene adverse Effekte auszul?sen, als kritische Eigenschaften dieser Verbindungen anzusehen. A Co nanolayer is used as a local probe to evaluate the vertical inhomogeneous distribution of the electromagnetic (EM) field within a resonant metallic nanodisk. Taking advantage of the direct relation between the magneto-optical activity and the electromagnetic field intensity in the Co layer, it is shown that the nonuniform EM distribution within the nanodisk under plasmon resonant conditions has maximum values close to the upper and lower flat faces, and a minimum value in the middle.  相似文献

An analytical model for the generation of β-delayed γ-ray spectra following thermal-neutron-induced fission of mixed samples of 235U and 239Pu is presented. Using an energy-dependent figure-of-merit to designate the spectral regions employed in the assay, the unique temporal β-delayed γ-ray signatures are utilized to determine the fraction of 239Pu in a mixed U-Pu sample. By evaluating the β-delayed γ-ray temporal signatures of both 235U and 239Pu within a 3 keV energy bin, traditional sources of systematic uncertainty in quantitative assay using β-delayed γ-ray signals, such as self-attenuation of the sample and energy-dependent γ-ray detection efficiency, are significantly reduced. The effects of the time-dependent Compton-continuum and growth of longer-lived nuclides on the quantitative assessment are explored. This methodology represents a promising extension of the conventional means of analysis for quantitative assay of fissile materials using β-delayed γ-ray signatures.  相似文献

Targeted therapies are the most attractive options in the treatment of different tumours, including kidney cancers. Such therapies have entered a golden era due to advancements in research, breakthroughs in scientific knowledge, and a better understanding of cancer therapy mechanisms, which significantly improve the survival rates and life expectancy of patients. The use of tumour necrosis factor (TNF)-related apoptosis inducing ligand (TRAIL) as an anticancer therapy has attracted the attention of the scientific community and created great excitement due to its selectivity in targeting cancerous cells with no toxic impacts on normal tissues. However, clinical studies disappointingly showed the emergence of resistance against TRAIL. This study aimed to employ curcumin to sensitise TRAIL-resistant kidney cancerous ACHN cells, as well as to gain insight into the molecular mechanisms of TRAIL sensitization. Curcumin deregulated the expression of apoptosis-regulating micro Ribonucleic Acid (miRNAs), most notably, let-7C. Transfecting ACHN cells with a let-7C antagomir significantly increased the expression of several cell cycle protein, namely beta (β)-catenin, cyclin dependent kinase (CDK)1/2/4/6 and cyclin B/D. Further, it overexpressed the expression of the two key glycolysis regulating proteins including hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha (HIF-1α) and pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase 1 (PDK1). Curcumin also suppressed the expression of the overexpressed proteins when added to the antagomir transfected cells. Overall, curcumin targeted ACHN cell cycle and cellular metabolism by promoting the differential expression of let-7C. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study to mechanistically report the cancer chemosensitisation potential of curcumin in kidney cancer cells via induction of let-7C.  相似文献
