The selective separation of carbon dioxide (CO2) from a wet gaseous mixture of CO2/H2 through facilitated transport membranes containing immobilized aqueous solutions of monoethanolamine (MEA), diethanolamine (DEA), ethylenediamine (EDA) and monoprotonated ethylenediamine (EDAH+) and their blends was experimentally investigated. The effect of CO2 partial pressure, amine concentration, feed side pressure and amine species on the CO2 and H2 permeances were studied. The CO2 permeability through amine solution membranes decreased with increasing CO2 feed partial pressure but the H2 permeance was almost independent of the H2 partial pressure. A comparison of experimental results showed that single or blended amines with low viscosity and a moderate equilibrium constant, i.e., large forward and reverse reaction rate of CO2‐amine, are suitable for effective separation of CO2. The permeability of CO2 generally increased with an increase in amine concentration, although this increase may be compromised by the salting out effect and decrease in diffusivities of species. The results obtained indicated that CO2 permeance across a variety of amines are in the order of DEA (2 M) > MD (2 M) > MD (1 M) > MEA (2 M) > MEA (4 M) > MD (4 M) > DEA (1 M) > DEA (4 M) > MEA (1 M) for various concentrations of MEA + DEA blend and are in the order of EDAH+ (2 M) > DEA (2 M) > MH (2 M) > DH (2 M) > ED (2 M) > EDA (2 M) > MEA (2 M) for various blends of amine.  相似文献

An eco-friendly procedure for synthesis of 2-(2-oxo-2H-chromen-4-yl)-3-arylthiazolidin-4-one derivatives by three-component reaction of 2-oxo-2H-chromene-4-carbaldehydes, aromatic amines and thioglycolic acid, with tetramethylbutane-1,4-diammonium acetate as a low-cost ionic liquid catalyst under reflux condition is described. Network securityprotocolssuch as IPsechave been used for many years to ensure robust end-to-end communication and are impor-tant in the context of SDN.Despite the widespread installation of IPsec to date,per-packet protection offered by the protocol isnot very compatible with OpenFlow and flow-like behavior.OpenFlow architecture cannot aggregate IPsec-ESP flows in transportmode or tunnel mode because layer-3 information is encrypted and therefore unreadable.In this paper,we propose using the Secu-rity Parameter Index(SPI)of IPsec within the OpenFlow architecture to identify and direct IPsec flows.Thisenables IPsec to con-form to the packet-based behavior of OpenFlow architecture.In addition,by distinguishing between IPsec flows,the architectureis particularly suited to secure group communication.  相似文献

The paper presents a study on the use of Markov‐Modulated Poisson Processes (MMPP's) for characterizing multimedia traffic with short‐term and long‐term correlation. The applicability of the 2‐state MMPP and a refined moment‐based parameter‐matching technique to model an arbitrary ATM traffic stream in evaluating its queueing performance are examined by simulation. Following a discussion on the limitation of the 2‐state MMPP model, a model using a superposition of N homogeneous 2‐state MMPP to characterize bursty multimedia traffic is presented. The proposed model requires only five parameters which can be estimated from the samples of the traffic counting process by using a pdf‐based matching technique. The introduced pdf‐based parameter‐matching procedure uses the probability density function of the arrival rate and the IDC curve of the traffic samples. An approximation for the probability of loss in MMPP/D/1 queues is also obtained. The versatility and accuracy of the proposed model to characterize bursty multimedia traffic are shown by several case studies and test results. A broadband conical double‐ridged horn (DRH) antenna with symmetrical radiation patterns, low side lobe level, and low cross polarization is presented. Experimental investigations and detailed simulations are conducted to understand its behavior and to optimize for broadband operation. Good agreement between the measurement and simulation has been achieved. The designed conical DRH antenna introduces a low voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR), which is lower than 2.3 for the frequency range of 6–18 GHz and simultaneously achieves slant polarization as well as stable far‐field radiation characteristics in the entire operating bandwidth. The common impedance exponential tapering is used at the flare section of the horn. Moreover, a new cavity back with a conical structure is used to improve the VSWR. The simulated and measured results for VSWR, far field E‐plane and H‐plane radiation patterns, and gain of the designed antenna are presented and discussed. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Two conical double‐ridged horn (DRH) antennas for K and Ka frequency bands are presented. Detailed simulation and experimental investigations are conducted to understand their behaviors and optimize for broadband operation. The designed antennas were fabricated with 0.01 mm accuracy and satisfactory agreement of computer simulations and experimental results was obtained. The designed conical DRH antennas have voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) less than 2.1 and 2.2 for the frequency ranges of 18–26.5 GHz (K band) and 26.5–40 GHz (Ka band), respectively. Meanwhile, the proposed antennas exhibit low cross‐polarization, low sidelobe level, and simultaneously achieve slant polarization as well as symmetrical radiation patterns in the entire operating bandwidth. An exponential impedance tapering is used at the flare section of the horns. Moreover, a new cavity back with a conical structure is used to improve the VSWR. Numerous simulations via Ansoft HFSS and CST Microwave Studio CAD tools have been made to optimize the VSWR performance of the designed antennas. Simulation results show that the VSWR of the proposed antennas is sensitive to the probe spacing from the ridge edge and the cavity back structure. The designed conical DRH antennas are most suitable as a feed for the reflectors of radar systems and satellite applications. Results for VSWR, far‐field E‐plane and H‐plane radiation patterns, and gain of the designed antennas are presented and discussed. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
