In this paper, we present a practical stability result for perturbed dynamic systems depending on a parameter and we study the practical exponential stability of perturbed triangular systems. These results are applied to show that a separation principle for nonlinear uncertain systems can be achieved and which considers practical global uniform exponential stability. Near-field scanning optical microscopy (NSOM) offers high optical resolution beyond the diffraction limit for various applications in imaging, sensing, and lithography; however, for many applications the very low brightness of NSOM aperture probes is a major constraint. Here, we report a novel NSOM aperture probe that gives a 100× higher throughput and 40× increased damage threshold than conventional near-field aperture probes. These brighter probes facilitate near-field imaging of single molecules with apertures as small as 45 nm in diameter. We achieve this improvement by nanostructuring the probe and by employing a novel variant of extraordinary optical transmission, relying solely on a single aperture and a coupled waveguide. Comprehensive electromagnetic simulations show good agreement with the measured transmission spectra. Due to their significantly increased throughput and damage threshold, these resonant configuration probes provide an important step forward for near-field applications. 相似文献

The synthesis of new unsymmetrically benzene-fused bis (tetrathiafulvalene) has been carried out by a cross-coupling reaction of the respective 4,5-dialkyl-1,3-dithiole- 2-selenone 6–9 with 2-(4-(p-nitrophenyl)-1,3-dithiole-2-ylidene)-1,3,5,7-tetrathia-s-indacene- 6-one 5 prepared by olefination of 4-(p-nitrophenyl)-1,3-dithiole-2-selenone 3 and 1,3,5,7-tetrathia-s-indacene-2,6-dione 4. The conversion of the nitro moiety 10a–d to amino 11a–d then dibenzylamine 12a–d groups respectively used reduction and alkylation methods. The electron donor ability of these new compounds has been measured by cyclic voltammetry (CV) technique. Charge transfer complexes with tetracyanoquino-dimethane (TCNQ) were prepared by chemical redox reactions. The complexes have been proven to give conducting materials. 相似文献

The fatty acid (FA) composition of 540 Tunisian virgin olive oil hybrids (VOO) were classified by principal component analysis
(PCA). Pearson correlation between FA variables revealed an inverse association between C18:1 and C18:2; C18:1 and C16:0,
while C16:0 and C16:1 were positively correlated. PCA yielded five significant PCs, which together account for 79.95% of the
total variance; with PC1 contributing 36.84% of the total. Eigenvalue analysis revealed that PC1 was mainly attributed to
C18:1, monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA) and the ratios oleic/linoleic (O/L) and monounsaturated fatty acids/polyunsaturated
fatty acids (MUFA/PUFA); PC2, by C16:0, saturated fatty acids (SFA) and the palmitic/linoleic ratio (P/L); PC3 by C18:2 and
C22:0, PC4 by C18:0 and PC5, by C17:1. Then, PCA analysis indicated that in addition to C16:0, C18:0, C18:1, C17:1, and C22:0,
MUFA, SFA and the ratios O/L, P/L and MUFA/PUFA were determined to be the main factors responsible for the olive oil hybrids

Using different reaction conditions of photosulfochlorination of n-dodecane, two samples of anionic surfactants of sulfonate type are obtained. Their micellar behavior has been already reported
and the relationship between their isomeric distribution and their chemical structures and micellar behaviors have been more
thoroughly explored. In this investigation, we screened the foaming properties (foaming power and foam stability) by a standardized
method very similar to the Ross–Miles foaming tests to identify which surfactants are suitable for applications requiring
high foaming, or, alternatively, low foaming. The results obtained for the synthesized surfactants are compared to those obtained
for an industrial sample of secondary alkanesulfonate (Hostapur 60) and to those of a commercial sample of sodium dodecylsulfate
used as reference for anionic surfactants. The foam formation and foam stability of aqueous solutions of the two samples of
dodecanesulfonate are compared as a function of their isomeric distribution. These compounds show good foaming power characterized
in most cases by metastable or dry foams. The highest foaming power is obtained for the sample rich in primary isomers which
also produces foam with a relatively high stability. For the sample rich in secondary isomers we observe under fixed conditions
a comparable initial foam height but the foam stability turns out to be low. This property is interesting for applications
requiring low foaming properties such as dishwashing liquid for machines. The best results are observed near and above the
critical micellar concentrations and at 25 °C for both the samples.

BMP signaling is crucial for differentiation of secretory ameloblasts, the cells that secrete enamel matrix. However, whether BMP signaling is required for differentiation of maturation-stage ameloblasts (MA), which are instrumental for enamel maturation into hard tissue, is hitherto unknown. To address this, we used an in vivo genetic approach which revealed that combined deactivation of the Bmp2 and Bmp4 genes in the murine dental epithelium causes development of dysmorphic and dysfunctional MA. These fail to exhibit a ruffled apical plasma membrane and to reabsorb enamel matrix proteins, leading to enamel defects mimicking hypomaturation amelogenesis imperfecta. Furthermore, subsets of mutant MA underwent pathological single or collective cell migration away from the ameloblast layer, forming cysts and/or exuberant tumor-like and gland-like structures. Massive apoptosis in the adjacent stratum intermedium and the abnormal cell-cell contacts and cell-matrix adhesion of MA may contribute to this aberrant behavior. The mutant MA also exhibited severely diminished tissue non-specific alkaline phosphatase activity, revealing that this enzyme’s activity in MA crucially depends on BMP2 and BMP4 inputs. Our findings show that combined BMP2 and BMP4 signaling is crucial for survival of the stratum intermedium and for proper development and function of MA to ensure normal enamel maturation. 相似文献

Arrhythmia has been classified using a variety of methods. Because of the dynamic nature of electrocardiogram (ECG) data, traditional handcrafted approaches are difficult to execute, making the machine learning (ML) solutions more appealing. Patients with cardiac arrhythmias can benefit from competent monitoring to save their lives. Cardiac arrhythmia classification and prediction have greatly improved in recent years. Arrhythmias are a category of conditions in which the heart's electrical activity is abnormally rapid or sluggish. Every year, it is one of the main reasons of mortality for both men and women, worldwide. For the classification of arrhythmias, this work proposes a novel technique based on optimized feature selection and optimized K-nearest neighbors (KNN) classifier. The proposed method makes advantage of the UCI repository, which has a 279-attribute high-dimensional cardiac arrhythmia dataset. The proposed approach is based on dividing cardiac arrhythmia patients into 16 groups based on the electrocardiography dataset’s features. The purpose is to design an efficient intelligent system employing the dipper throated optimization method to categorize cardiac arrhythmia patients. This method of comprehensive arrhythmia classification outperforms earlier methods presented in the literature. The achieved classification accuracy using the proposed approach is 99.8%. 相似文献
