The goal of our work is inspired by the task of associating segments of text to their real authors. In this work, we focus on analyzing the way humans judge different writing styles. This analysis can help to better understand this process and to thus simulate/ mimic such behavior accordingly. Unlike the majority of the work done in this field (i.e. authorship attribution, plagiarism detection, etc.) which uses content features, we focus only on the stylometric, i.e. content-agnostic, characteristics of authors. Therefore, we conducted two pilot studies to determine, if humans can identify authorship among documents with high content similarity. The first was a quantitative experiment involving crowd-sourcing, while the second was a qualitative one executed by the authors of this paper. Both studies confirmed that this task is quite challenging. To gain a better understanding of how humans tackle such a problem, we conducted an exploratory data analysis on the results of the studies. In the first experiment, we compared the decisions against content features and stylometric features. While in the second, the evaluators described the process and the features on which their judgment was based. The findings of our detailed analysis could (1) help to improve algorithms such as automatic authorship attribution as well as plagiarism detection, (2) assist forensic experts or linguists to create profiles of writers, (3) support intelligence applications to analyze aggressive and threatening messages and (4) help editor conformity by adhering to, for instance, journal specific writing style.  相似文献

目的 充分研究微织构几何轮廓对浮环气膜密封润滑特性的影响,调节微尺度流动,提高密封综合性能,为气膜浮环密封的优化设计提供理论基础。方法 基于气膜润滑理论,建立表面织构化浮环密封的润滑模型,以圆形、正方形、椭圆形、三角形4种轮廓微织构孔为研究对象,采用有限差分法对流体动压控制方程进行数值求解,获得密封间隙内气膜压力分布,通过试验验证理论模型的正确性和有效性,并考察不同几何轮廓的微织构孔对浮环密封性能的影响规律。结果 微织构孔均可产生显著的流体动压效应,具有三角形轮廓特征的微织构孔在综合密封性能上表现出最佳效果,其次是椭圆形、正方形,最后是圆形。在相同工况条件下,不同几何轮廓的微织构孔对密封性能参数的影响具有相似的规律。其中,转速、压力和偏心率的增大均可提高气膜浮升力;随着压力和偏心率的增加,泄漏率迅速升高,随着转速的升高而缓慢下降;气体摩擦力随着转速、压力和偏心率的升高而升高。结论 在轴套表面合理设计微纹理,并对不同几何轮廓微孔所适应的工况参数进行了研究,明确了不同工况下织构类型的选择和优化。研究结果可为浮环气膜密封的轴套加工制造提供理论依据,具有实际应用价值。  相似文献

Two causes of forgetting have been promulgated: memory trace decay and retroactive interference. The authors show that forgetting is an active process requiring both new learning and memory. In the present 1Lymnaea model system, prevention of new learning of a conflicting association, inhibition of memory consolidation, or Right Pedal Dorsal 1 soma ablation, which blocks LTM formation, are all potent means to prevent forgetting. Thus procedures that alter the ability to learn or form memory of a new conflicting aerial respiratory association prevent forgetting of a learned associative behavior. During high-temperature exposure, the microstructure of thermal barrier coatings evolves, leading to increased thermal conductivity. We describe the evolution in the thermal properties of a 7 wt.% Y2O3 stabilized ZrO2 electron beam-physical vapor deposited (EB-PVD) thermal barrier coating with thermal cycling between room temperature and 1150 °C until failure. The thermal diffusivity and conductivity of the coating were evaluated non-destructively based on the analysis of its photothermal infrared emission. Although the coating density does not increase significantly with thermal cycling, the thermal diffusivity and conductivity of the coating increased substantially, particularly during the first 20 1 h cycles. The values then approach a limiting value. Complementary Raman spectroscopy suggests that the increase is accompanied by a reduction in the defect concentration in the coating and that there is also a correlation between the width of the Raman lines and the thermal conductivity.  相似文献

作为电力电子变换器的核心器件,IGBT功率模块的可靠性是目前学术界和工业界关注的重点。本文借助有限元分析软件,根据IGBT模块的实际结构,构建了IGBT模块的电-热-力仿真模型。针对目前IGBT模块键合线失效的难题,研究了不同键合线材料与表面金属化层材料的选型对模块温度云图及应力云图的影响。仿真结果表明键合线材料的选型与模块内部的温度分布具有较强的相关性,金属化层材料的选型与模块内部的应力分布具有较强的相关性。因此,通过合理选择模块表面金属化层与键合线材料类型能极大程度降低模块内部的温度和应力,进而降低键合线失效的风险,提高模块的可靠性。  相似文献

This paper presents the development of a microdispensing system based on a contacting method, with an aim to lowering production and maintenance cost. The liquid, to be dispensed, is brought into contact with the work piece, thus dispensing a droplet by making use of the adhesion force between the liquid and the work piece. A piezoelectric actuator is employed as the drive for the system to achieve high precision. The control of the system is accomplished with a PID controller; controlling the dispensing process and trajectory tracking.  相似文献

The use of diffuse optical spectral reflectance as a nondestructive tool to characterize the microstructure of electron beam physical vapor deposition (EB-PVD) thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) has been investigated and the contributions of intercolumnar gaps and intracolumnar pores distinguished. It is shown that the reflectance is controlled by the refractive index mismatch and that the optical scattering coefficient depends on the thickness of the TBC due to the porosity distribution through the thickness of the coating. The sensitivity of the reflectance to the porosity suggests that optical reflectance can be used to characterize the microstructure of EB-PVD TBC for both quality control and nondestructive evaluation purposes.  相似文献

This research addresses a batch scheduling problem for single item parts with multi due date on m heterogeneous batch processors. The objective is to minimise total actual flowtime of parts through the shop. The total actual flowtime of parts in a batch is the multiplication of the interval between batch arrival time and the due date by the number of parts in the batch. Using the actual flowtime as the objective means it is oriented to satisfy the due date as a commitment to customers, and simultaneously to minimise the length of time of the parts spending in the shop.
