The present paper presents the main results of the biodegradation study of paper industry wastewater through physico-chemical treatment. Indeed, around 60% of chemical oxygen demand (COD) removal can be achieved by electroflocculation treatment. Furthermore, a removal efficiency of the COD of almost 91% has been obtained by biological treatment, with activated amount of sludge for 24 h of culture. Concerning the physico-chemical pre-treatment of the untreated, filtered and electroflocculated rejection effluents, it has been investigated through the degradation curve of COD studies.  相似文献

This paper investigates adaptive control design for nonlinear square MIMO systems. The control scheme is based on recurrent neural networks emulator and controller with decoupled adaptive rates. Networks' parameters are updated according to an autonomous algorithm inspired from the Real Time Recurrent Learning (RTRL). The contributions of this paper are the determination of Lyapunov sufficient stability conditions for decoupled adaptive rates of the emulator and controller and the development of new adaptation strategies based on the tracking error dynamics and Lyapunov stability analysis to improve the closed loop performances. Efficiency of the proposed controller is illustrated with nonlinear system simulations. An application of the developed approaches to a hot-air blower is presented in order to validate simulations results.  相似文献

Invariant assertions play an important role in the analysis and verification of iterative programs. In this paper, we introduce a related but distinct concept, namely that of invariant relation. While invariant assertions are useful to prove the correctness of a loop with respect to a specification (represented by a precondition/ postcondition pair) in Hoare’s logic, invariant relations are useful to derive the function of the loop in Mills’ logic.  相似文献

The study reports removal of heavy metals when present singly or in binary and ternary systems by the milling agrowaste of Cicer arientinum (chickpea var. black gram) as the biosorbent. The biosorbent removed heavy metal ions efficiently from aqueous solutions with the selectivity order of Pb>Cd>Zn>Cu>Ni. The biosorption of metal ions by black gram husk (BGH) increased as the initial metal concentration increased. Biosorption equilibrium was established within 30 min, which was well described by the Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherms. The maximum amount of heavy metals (qmax) adsorbed at equilibrium was 49.97, 39.99, 33.81, 25.73 and 19.56 mg/g BGH biomass for Pb, Cd, Zn, Cu and Ni, respectively. The biosorption capacities were found to be pH dependent and the maximum adsorption occurred at the solution pH 5. Efficiency of the biosorbent to remove Pb from binary and ternary solutions with Cd, Cu, Ni and Zn was the same level as it was when present singly. The presence of Pb in the binary and ternary solutions also did not significantly affect the sorption of other metals. Breakthrough curves for continuous removal of Pb from single, binary and ternary metal solutions are reported for inlet-effluent equilibrium. Complete desorption of Pb and other metals in single and multimetal solutions was achieved with 0.1 M HCl in both shake flask and fixed bed column studies. This is the first report of removal of the highly toxic Pb, Cd, and other heavy metals in binary and ternary systems based on the biosorption by an agrowaste. The potential of application for the treatment of solutions containing these heavy metals in multimetal solutions is indicated.  相似文献

Polypyrrole synthesis and neutravidin entrapment inside the polymer were performed simultaneously in one step using a controlled anodic current passing. The incorporation of neutravidin within the electrogenerated film was confirmed by FTIR and impedance spectroscopy. Biotinylated anti-triazine Fab fragment was attached to the PPy/neutravidin modified electrode throughout the well-studied biotin–neutravidin interaction. During impedance measurements, the charge transfer resistance increased gradually with atrazine concentration whereas no significant response was recorded after rabbit IgG injection. The immunosensor was very sensitive to atrazine antigen in the range of 0.1–200 ng/ml and the detection limit attained 0.1 ng/ml.  相似文献

Detection of personality using emotions is a research domain in artificial intelligence. At present, some agents can keep the human’s profile for interaction and adapts themselves according to their preferences. However, the effective method for interaction is to detect the person’s personality by understanding the emotions and context of the subject. The idea behind adding personality in cognitive agents begins an attempt to maximize adaptability on the basis of behavior. In our daily life, humans socially interact with each other by analyzing the emotions and context of interaction from audio or visual input. This paper presents a conceptual personality model in cognitive agents that can determine personality and behavior based on some text input, using the context subjectivity of the given data and emotions obtained from a particular situation/context. The proposed work consists of Jumbo Chatbot, which can chat with humans. In this social interaction, the chatbot predicts human personality by understanding the emotions and context of interactive humans. Currently, the Jumbo chatbot is using the BFI technique to interact with a human. The accuracy of proposed work varies and improve through getting more experiences of interaction.  相似文献
