General interest for robotic technology has been increased by the public and the media after Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant (hereafter referred to as 1F) disaster. Especially, robots which can work under the very severe condition where personnel cannot access have demands for development. As to respond to such high demands, NEDO established ‘Disaster response unmanned systems development project’ in 2012.[1] This project is specialized in the development of various remote-controlled equipment, such as remote-controlled platform truck and remote control human interface under ‘Mobile Robot Development’. Remote-controlled platform truck is designed to safely and surely deliver robots and supplies, instead of using stairs and elevator, etc. in and out of building where it is too critical for personnel to work under. Remote control human interface for robots is designed to standardize the command and operation screen for operator, based on opinions from project members, and manned facility construction.[2] In this article, mechanical structure and development tasks for remote-controlled platform truck, and commonalization approach for operation and camera display of various remote-controlled equipment and robot for remote control human interface are stated. Background: due to hydrogen explosion triggered by The Great East Japan Earthquake on 11 March 2011, a reactor building at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant was severely damaged. It is required to reduce high radiation dose in the atmosphere of the reactor building to perform restoration. To pursue decontamination of the reactor building, equipment to lift and carry decontamination devices to upper floor are required.  相似文献

We performed miniature flyer impact experiments to investigate the relationship between the apparent (u(a)) and actual (u(A)) particle velocities measured by a velocity interferometer in single-crystal lithium fluoride (LiF) that was shock-compressed along the [100] axis. The miniature flyer was accelerated to velocities in the range 652.5-1937.6 m/s by a tabletop pulsed laser. An empirical relationship of u(a) = (1.2749 ± 0.0102)u(A) was obtained. The obtained relationship agreed well with the results of a previous study within the experimental errors and its uncertainty was less than ±1%. This result indicates that the present experimental technique is effective for measuring the relationship between u(a) and u(A) of shocked transparent materials with a comparable accuracy to conventional methods.  相似文献

This paper deals with density-based topology optimization considering fluid and thermal interactions, in which the Navier–Stokes and heat transport equations are coupled. We particularly focus on designing heat exchangers. In the engineering context, heat exchangers are designed while considering a certain amount of input power. Therefore it is important to maximize the performance of a heat exchanger under a constant input power. In this paper we propose a way to control the input power by introducing an extra integral equation. To be more precise, in the fluid analysis, the inlet pressure is determined by solving the extra integral equation together with the Navier–Stokes equation. By doing this we can keep the inlet power constant even when the flow channels are changed in the optimization process. Consequently, the system of equations of the fluid field takes an integrodifferential form. On the other hand, in the heat transport analysis, a single governing equation is defined for simultaneously modeling both the solid and fluid parts. The design variable is a fluid fraction whose distribution represents the topology of the solid and fluid domains. When designing heat exchangers, two different heat conditions are considered in the formulation of the optimization problems, namely temperature-dependent and temperature-independent heat sources. Through the numerical examples for designing flow channels in a heat exchanger, it is shown that distinct topologies can be obtained according to the input power and the heat source conditions.  相似文献

Pt-loaded metal oxides [WO3/ZrO2, MOx/TiO2 (MOx = WO3, MoO3, V2O5), WO3 and TiO2] equipped with interdigital Au electrodes have been tested as a NOx (NO and NO2) gas sensor at 500 °C. The impedance value at 4 Hz was used as a sensing signal. Among the samples tested, Pt-WO3/TiO2 showed the highest sensor response magnitude to NO. The sensor was found to respond consistently and rapidly to change in concentration of NO and NO2 in the oxygen rich and moist gas mixture at 500 °C. The 90% response and 90% recovery times were as short as less than 5–10 s. The impedance at 4 Hz of the present device was found to vary almost linearly with the logarithm of NOx (NO or NO2) concentration from 10 to 570 ppm. Pt-WO3/TiO2 showed responses to NO and NO2 of the same algebraic sign and nearly the same magnitude, while Pt/WO3 and WO3/TiO2 showed higher response to NO than NO2. The impedance at 4 Hz in the presence of NO for Pt-WO3/TiO2 was almost equal at any O2 concentration examined (1–99%), while in the case of Pt/WO3 and WO3/TiO2 the impedance increased with the oxygen concentration. The features of Pt-WO3/TiO2 are favorable as a NOx sensor that can monitor and control the NOx concentration in automotive exhaust. The effect of WO3 loading of Pt-WO3/ZrO2-based sensor is studied to discuss the role of surface W-OH sites on the NOx sensing.  相似文献

X-ray imaging is a very important technology in the fields of medical, biological, inspection, material science, etc. However, it is not enough to get the clear X-ray imaging with low absorbance. We have produced a diffraction gratings for obtaining high resolution X-ray phase imaging, such as X-ray Talbot interferometer. In this X-ray Talbot interferometer, diffraction gratings were required to have a fine, high accuracy, high aspect ratio structure. Then, we succeeded to fabricate a high aspect ratio diffraction grating with a pitch of 8 μm and small area using a deep X-ray lithography technique. We discuss that the diffraction gratings having a narrow pitch and an large effective area to obtain imaging size of practical use in medical application. If the pitch of diffraction gratings were narrow, it is expected high resolution imaging for X-ray Talbot interferometer. We succeeded and fabricated the diffraction grating with pitch of 5.3 μm, Au height of 28 μm and an effective area of 60 × 60 mm2.  相似文献

Genetic Algorithms (GAs) and other Evolutionary Algorithms (EAs), as powerful and broadly applicable stochastic search and optimization techniques have been successfully applied in the area of management science, operations research and industrial engineering. In the past few years, researchers gave lots of great idea for improvement of evolutionary algorithms, which include population initialization, individual selection, evolution, parameter setting, hybrid approach with conventional heuristics etc. However, though lots of different versions of evolutionary computations have been created, all of them have turned most of its attention to the development of search abilities of approaches. In this paper, for improving the search ability, we focus on how to take a balance between exploration and exploitation of the search space. It is also very difficult to solve problem, because the balance between exploration and exploitation is depending on the characteristic of different problems. The balance also should be changed dynamically depend on the status of evolution process. Purpose of this paper is the design of an effective approach which it can correspond to most optimization problems. In this paper, we propose an auto-tuning strategy by using fuzzy logic control. The main idea is adaptively regulation for taking the balance among the stochastic search and local search probabilities based on the change of the average fitness of parents and offspring which is occurred at each generation. In addition, numerical analyses of different type optimization problems show that the proposed approach has higher search capability that improve quality of solution and enhanced rate of convergence.  相似文献

The nonlinear nonequilibrium properties of reacting network systems are studied by computer simulations. It is shown that the fluctuation in the population of each chemical species obeys a log-normal distribution, not the normal Gaussian distribution. The reaction rate shows power-law decay with activation cost (energy), not the Arrhenius-type exponential decay observed in a linear nonequilibrium regime. These two characteristic features will explain the diversity, plasticity, and adaptivity observed in complex biological reaction networks. It is well known that the forward kinematics of parallel robots is a very difficult problem. Closed-form forward kinematics solutions have been reported only to a few special classes of parallel robots. This paper presents closed-form forward kinematics solutions of a 4-DOF parallel robot H4. A 16th order polynomial in a single variable is derived to solve the forward kinematics of the H4. The 16 roots of the polynomial lead to at most 16 different forward kinematics solutions. A numerical verification is also presented.  相似文献

This paper deals with the design of compliant mechanisms in a continuum-based finite-element representation. Because the displacements of mechanisms are intrinsically large, the geometric nonlinearity is essential for designing such mechanisms. However, the consideration of the geometric nonlinearity may cause some instability in topology optimization. The problem is in the analysis part but not in the optimization part. To alleviate the analysis problem and eventually stabilize the optimization process, this paper proposes to apply the Levenberg–Marquardt method to the nonlinear analysis of compliant mechanisms.  相似文献

High-temperature oxidation of Al-deposited stainless-steel foils   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
The oxidation resistance of Al-deposited Fe–Cr–Al foils containing small amounts of La and Ce was assessed by a cyclic oxidation test with temperature varying between room temperature and 1323 K to 1423 K in static air. (1) The Al content of Fe–Cr–Al–La, Ce foils can be increased by depositing an Al layer from the vapor phase. The deposition of a 1-m-thick Al layer on both sides of the 50-m-thick foil is equivalent to a 1.5 mass% increase in the Al content. The deposited Al diffuses into the foil during heat treatment. The uniform distribution of Al is obtained by heating at 1273 K for 18 ks. (2) After the initial transition stage the oxidation follows the parabolic law until breakaway sets in. The scale consists mainly of -Al2O3 during the parabolic period. (3) The increase in the Al content by more than 5 mass% by the Al-deposition remarkably improves high-temperature oxidation resistance (smaller parabolic rate constant and longer protection time). (4) The Al-deposited foils have better oxidation resistance than the conventional foils with the same contents of Al and rare-earth elements. This is attributable to the different nature of the initially formed oxide on the Al-deposited foil. (5) The so-called rare-earth element effect was also observed for the Al-deposited foils. Predominant diffusion of oxygen through the Al2O3 scale and vacancy-sink mechanism are applicable to the present results.  相似文献
