We report an effective method for the synthesis of hydroxyapatite whiskers with sharp faceted hexagonal shape employing a low temperature (90 °C) hydrothermal route with calcium nitrate tetrahydrate, diammonium phosphate and urea as starting materials. The key parameters of the synthesis process i.e. duration, temperature cycle of the treatment and starting pH value are carefully varied and the end products are investigated using powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman-scattering, infrared spectroscopy (IR), elemental analysis, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), electron diffraction (ED), and high-resolution TEM (HRTEM) in order to find the optimal reaction conditions that lead to the desired hexagonal morphology of HA whiskers. The results demonstrate that gradual and greater increase in solution pH during the hydrothermal process favors large quantity of the single-crystalline hydroxyapatite whiskers with well defined hexagonal morphology.  相似文献

A mild catalytic procedure for the efficient oxidative cyclization of aldoximes with maleimides mediated by hypervalent iodine(III) active species has been developed. This catalytic cyclization affords the corresponding pyrrolo‐isoxazole products in generally good yields. The catalytic cycle involves active hydroxy(aryl)iodonium species generated in situ from 2‐iodobenzoic acid as precatalyst and m‐chloroperoxybenzoic acid (m‐CPBA) as terminal oxidant in the presence of trifluoromethanesulfonic acid. The presence of active hydroxy(aryl)iodonium species in this reaction has been confirmed by ESI‐mass spectrometry and 1H NMR spectroscopy.

3-D (stacked device layers) ICs can significantly alleviate the interconnect problem coming with the decreasing feature size and is promising for heterogeneous integration. In this paper, we concentrate on the configuration number and fixed-outline constraints in the floorplanning for 3-D ICs. Extended sequence pair, named partitioned sequence pair (in short, P-SP), is used to represent 3-D IC floorplans. We prove that the number of configuration of 3-D IC floorplans represented by P-SP is less than that of planar floorplans represented by sequence pair (SP) and decreases as the device layer number increases. Moreover, we applied the technique of block position enumeration, which have been successfully used in planar fixed-outline floorplanning, to fixed-outline multi-layer floorplanning. The experimental results demonstrate the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

Lactoperoxidase (LPO) is a milk protein with antimicrobial function. The present study was undertaken to examine the correlation between LPO activity and somatic cell count (SCC) in milk to use LPO activity as an indicator of mastitis. Composite milk of 36 cows and quarter milk of 3 cows were collected once per week from 0 to 300 d postpartum and twice per day for 1 wk, respectively. For the measurement of LPO activity, milk was mixed with tetramethylbenzidine solution and incubated at 37°C for 30 min, followed by the measurement of optical density. When only milk with low SCC (132 ± 12 × 103 cells/mL) was used, a significant decrease in LPO activity was detected in primiparous cows from 0 to 4 mo postpartum. Lactoperoxidase activities of primiparous cows in mo 1, 2, and 3 postpartum were significantly higher than those in multiparous cows. When composite milk was divided based on LPO activity, the SCC was significantly higher in the groups with LPO activity >5 and from 3 to 3.9 U/mL in the second- and fourth-parity cows, respectively, compared with the group with LPO activity <2 U/mL. Extremely high SCC were found in the ≥fifth-parity cows, even in low-LPO activity groups. In the case of quarter milk, higher LPO activity was associated with increased SCC in all 3 cows. The percentage of quarter milk samples with high SCC (4,062 ± 415 × 103 cells/mL) increased with an increase in the LPO activity. The percentage of quarter milk samples with high SCC was 50.0 to 100% in the milk with LPO activity ≥5 U/mL. These results indicate that the correlation of LPO activity to the SCC in bovine milk may point to the potential use of the former as an indicator of SCC.  相似文献

This paper describes some simplified stable crack growth analyses of two kinds of inhomogeneous CT specimens. The one is machined from a submerged are welded plate of a nuclear pressure vessel A533B Class 1 steel, while the other is machined from an electron-beam welded plate of the A533B Class 1 steel and a high strength HT80 steel. In both specimens, initial cracks are placed to be normal to the fusion line. The ratio of yield stresses of the weld metal and the base metal of the A533B Class 1 steel is about 1·15, while that of the HT80 and the A533B Class 1 steels is about 1·4.

The generation phase crack growth analyses using the GE/EPRI and the reference stress methods are performed, calculating an applied load (P) and the J-value, while the application phase analyses of analyses using the R6 method are performed to calculate the maximum value of the applied load (Pmax). Finally, some modification procedures of the three simplified estimation schemes are discussed in order to apply them to inhomogeneous material regimes.  相似文献

This paper describes an application of the hierarchical neural network to the generation phase stable crack growth analysis of two kinds of welded CT specimens using the GE/EPRI simplified method. One of the specimens was machined from a submerged-arc-welded plate of nuclear pressure vessel A533B Class 1 steel, the other from an electron-beam-welded plate of A533B Class 1 steel and high-strength HT80 steel. A ratio of mixture of material constants was introduced to apply the GE/EPRI method to the analysis of crack growth in the welded specimens. The best ratio of mixture was identified using the neural-network-based inverse analysis approach as follows. At first, a number of generation phase crack growth analyses based on the GE/EPRI method were tested by parametrically varying the ratio of mixture. The relationship between the ratio of mixture and the calculated crack growth behavior is called here ‘learning data sets’. The neural network was then ‘trained’ using the learning data sets. In the training process, the calculated crack growth behavior is applied to the input units of the network, while the ratio of mixture is applied to its output units in the form of teaching data. Finally, the best ratio of mixture was estimated by applying measured crack growth behavior to the input units of the ‘trained network’. The effects of material inhomogeneity on crack growth behavior in the welded specimens are discussed with respect to the best ratio of mixture obtained.  相似文献

Twelve consecutive patients requiring surgery for replacement of ascending aortic aneurysms (n = 3), ascending arch aortic aneurysms (n = 2), or type A aortic dissections (n = 7) were treated without aortic cross clamping. Retrograde cerebral perfusion (RCP) with circulatory arrest (mean RCP time: 46.0 +/- 15.9 minutes, range 20 to 65 minutes) and continuous retrograde cardioplegia (mean cardiac ischemic time: 134.4 +/- 39.7 minutes, range: 40 to 180 minutes) were employed. In the patients with aortic dissection, the intimal tear at the origin of the brachiocephalic artery (BCA) was resected completely, the aortic wall was trimmed and closed with Teflon felt. The distal anastomosis was created using an open technique. Air and debris were completely evacuated by returning blood from the cerebral vessels and femoral artery. Then the artificial graft was clamped, and cardiopulmonary bypass resumed. The proximal anastomosis was performed during rewarming. The operations were elective in seven cases, and emergent in five cases. Graft replacement of the ascending aorta was performed in ten patients (including two BCA reconstructions). The remaining two patients were treated by patch repair (n = 1), primary anastomosis (n = 1). There were no perioperative deaths. One patient had a transient neurological deficit. The distal false lumen was occluded completely in five of seven patients with aortic dissections. The other two patients had a secondary tears in the descending aorta. Thus retrograde cerebral perfusion and continuous retrograde cardioplegia without aortic cross clamping is an effective technique in the replacement of the ascending and arch aorta.  相似文献

Germanene, a 2D honeycomb germanium crystal, is grown at graphene/Ag(111) and hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN)/Ag(111) interfaces by segregating germanium atoms. A simple annealing process in N2 or H2/Ar at ambient pressure leads to the formation of germanene, indicating that an ultrahigh-vacuum condition is not necessary. The grown germanene is stable in air and uniform over the entire area covered with a van der Waals (vdW) material. As an important finding, it is necessary to use a vdW material as a cap layer for the present germanene growth method since the use of an Al2O3 cap layer results in no germanene formation. The present study also proves that Raman spectroscopy in air is a powerful tool for characterizing germanene at the interfaces, which is concluded by multiple analyses including first-principles density functional theory calculations. The direct growth of h-BN-capped germanene on Ag(111), which is demonstrated in the present study, is considered to be a promising technique for the fabrication of future germanene-based electronic devices.  相似文献
