We present a review of the dynamical features such as generation, propagation, distribution, sudden transition and freezing of the various quantum correlation measures, as Concurrence, Entanglement of Formation, Quantum Discord, as well their geometrical measure counterparts within the models of Cavity Quantum Electrodynamics Networks. Dissipation and thermal effects are discussed both in the generation of quantum correlations as well as their effect on the sudden changes and freezing of the classical and quantum correlations in a cavity quantum electrodynamical network. For certain initial conditions, double transitions in the Bures geometrical discord are found. One of these transitions tends to disappear at a critical temperature.  相似文献

In the lubricating oil manufacturing process, the aromatic content of vacuum distillates is reduced by solvent extraction, frequently with furfural. In this work, a method based on average pseudo-components properties is developed to calculate physical properties (density, refractive index and sulfur content) of hydrocarbon mixtures. Obtained values were compared to those calculated by other methods reported in the literature, obtaining similar results. In order to simulate the extraction operation, a model based on a reduced number of pseudo-components and the NRTL model is reported for the system furfural+SPD lubricating oil. Thereafter, the extraction operation was simulated by using such model and Aspen Plus® commercial software. Good agreement was found between predicted and experimental values of yield, furfural content, composition and physical properties for raffinates and extracts.  相似文献

Solid‐state lighting (SSL) is one of the biggest achievements of the 20th century. It has completely changed our modern life with respect to general illumination (light‐emitting diodes), flat devices and displays (organic light‐emitting diodes), and small labeling systems (light‐emitting electrochemical cells). Nowadays, it is however mandatory to make a transition toward green, sustainable, and equally performing lighting systems. In this regard, several groups have realized that the actual SSL technologies can easily and efficiently be improved by getting inspiration from how natural systems that manipulate light have been optimized over millennia. In addition, various natural and biocompatible materials with suitable properties for lighting applications have been used to replace expensive and unsustainable components of current lighting devices. Finally, SSL has also started to revolutionize the biomedical field with the achievement of efficient implantable lighting systems. Herein, the‐state‐of‐art of (i) biological materials for lighting devices, (ii) bioinspired concepts for device designs, and (iii) implantable SSL technologies is summarized, highlighting the perspectives of these emerging fields.  相似文献

Current transformer saturation can be the cause of misoperation or false tripping in power transformer differential relays during connection transients. To avoid this scenario, the authors propose a solution based on a current transformer flux controller system (CT-FCS). The CT-FCS consists of a controlled semiconductor H-bridge connected to the primary winding of current transformers, allowing the inversion of the currents polarity. Unipolar pulses with high content of DC current are converted into bipolar pulses that reduce or cancel the amount of DC component in current transformer cores. By canceling the DC component, a saturation-free operation can be obtained. The use of this method will allow the selection of current transformers with lower saturation factors and will reduce the size of such devices.  相似文献

The capacity of Acidithiobacillus thiooxidans DMS 11478 to recover the heavy metals contained in the residue obtained from the CARON process has been evaluated. Different bioreactor configurations were studied: a two-stage batch system and two semi-continuous systems (stirred-tank reactor leaching and column leaching). In the two-stage system, 46.8% Co, 36.0% Mg, 26.3% Mn and 22.3% Ni were solubilised after 6h of contact between the residue and the bacteria-free bioacid. The results obtained with the stirred-tank reactor and the column were similar: 50% of the Mg and Co and 40% of the Mn and Ni were solubilised after thirty one days. The operation in the column reactor allowed the solid-liquid ratio to be increased and the pH to be kept at low values (<1.0). Recirculation of the leachate in the column had a positive effect on metal removal; at sixty five days (optimum time) the solubilisation levels were as follows: 86% Co, 83% Mg, 72% Mn and Ni, 62% Fe and 23% Cr. The results corroborate the feasibility of the systems studied for the leaching of metals from CARON process residue and these methodologies can be considered viable for the recovery of valuable metals.  相似文献

Photoinduced fluorescence enhancement of colloidal quantum dots (QDs) is a hot topic addressed in many studies due to its great influence on the bioanalytical performance of such nanoparticles. However, understanding of this process is not a simple task, and it cannot be explained by a general mechanism as it greatly depends on the QDs' nature, solubilization strategies, surrounding environment, etc. In this vein, we have critically compared the behavior of CdSe QDs (widely used in bioanalytical applications) with different surface modifications (ligand exchange and polymer coating), in different controlled experimental conditions, in the presence-absence of the ZnS layer and in different media when exposed for long times to intense UV irradiation. Thus six different types of colloidal QDs were finally studied. This research was carried out from a novel perspective, based on the analysis of the dynamic behavior of the photoactivation process (of great interest for further applications of QDs as labels in biomedical applications). The results showed a different behavior of the studied colloidal QDs after UV irradiation in terms of their photoluminescence characteristics, potential toxicity due to metal release to the environment, nanoparticle stability and surface coating degradation.  相似文献

Interleukin-8 is a chemokine with a potent neutrophil chemoattractant activity. In humans, two different cDNAs encoding human IL8 receptors designated IL8RA and IL8RB have been cloned. IL8RA binds IL8, while IL8RB binds IL8 as well as other alpha-chemokines. Both human IL8Rs are encoded by two genes physically linked on chromosome 2. The IL8RA and IL8RB genes have open reading frames (ORF) lacking introns. By direct sequencing of the polymerase chain reaction products, we sequenced the IL8R genes of cell lines from four non-human primates: chimpanzee, gorilla, orangutan, and macaca. The IL8RB encodes an ORF in the four non-human primates, showing 95% - 99% similarity to the human IL8RB sequence. The IL8RA homologue in gorilla and chimpanzee consisted of two ORF 98% - 99% identical to the human sequence. The macaca and orangutan IL8RA homologues are pseudogenes: a 2 base pair insertion generated a sequence with several stop codons. In addition, we describe the physical linkage of these genes in the four non-human primates and discuss the evolutionary implications of these findings.  相似文献

With faster CT scanners, asymmetric/heterogeneous enhancement (ASHE) of the internal jugular veins (IJVs) is frequently encountered in the absence of pathology. We investigated the frequency, side, pattern and significance of ASHE in 200 patients with various head and neck lesions. Non-ionic contrast medium (300 mgI/ml) was infused into a forearm vein (right, n = 100); left, n = 100). Forty seconds after contrast medium injection, contiguous 5-mm-thick sections were obtained craniocaudally from the skull base to the aortic arch. CT machines with two different scanning cycle times (3 s, n = 100; 2 s, n = 100) were used. ASHE of the IJVs was observed in 51 patients (25.5%); the patient group receiving a right-sided injection with a 2-s scan cycle machine, showing a higher frequency (44%). ASHE was divided into four patterns: homogeneous low density, focal low density, heterogenous opacification and fluid-fluid level formation. ASHE was frequently observed in routine contrast-enhanced CT of the head and neck. Frequency of ASHE increased when the scanning cycle was shorter. We should be aware of this phenomenon to avoid its misinterpretation as venous thrombosis or other pathology.  相似文献

Allele frequencies at six VNTR loci, 11 STR loci, and at the HLA-DQA1 locus were evaluated in a well-defined population from Campania (South Italy). The allele frequencies of three VNTR loci, 11 STR loci, and the HLA-DQA1 locus were compared with data obtained from a general Caucasian reference population in the USA. The aim of this study was to determine the power of each single locus and group of loci for forensic and paternity testing purposes. Significant differences between the allele frequencies of the two populations were found in two VNTR loci, four STR loci and in the HLA-DQA1 locus. The two populations were in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium for the STR loci, but as expected, not for some VNTR loci. It was also found that: (i) the discriminatory power of two STR systems (nine and 11 loci, respectively) is similar in the two populations analysed; and (ii) that the allele frequencies for the STR systems of a large reference population can always be applied to subjects of a small subpopulation. In conclusion, for forensic purposes and for paternity testing, most of the 11 STR loci examined can be analysed using allele frequencies from a general Caucasian reference population without typing subpopulations, whereas the VNTR loci must be subtyped.  相似文献
