On symbolic manipulation and code generation of a hybrid three-dimensional solid element

A symbolic procedure is utilized to derive the analytical expressions of the component matrices resulting to the closed-form integration of a stiffness matrix of a hybrid finite element. In order to alleviate the expression growth problem, we employ special techniques, including the use of symmetry conditions, pattern search, and introduction of intermediate variables, so that the final form of the derived stiffness matrix is suitable for coding implementation. Application of the symbolic procedure is made on a hybrid three-dimensional 8-node solid element. The same procedure is equally applicable to other types of hybrid elements.     

Further result on a dynamic recurrent neural-network-based adaptive observer for a class of nonlinear systems

In Kim et al. [(1997) A dynamic recurrent neural-network-based adaptive observer for a class of nonlinear systems. Automatica 33(8), 1539–1543], authors present an excellent neural network (NN) observer for a class of nonlinear systems. However, the output error equation in their paper is strictly positive real (SPR) which is restrictive assumption for nonlinear systems. In this note, by introducing a vector b₀ and Lyapunov equation, the observer design is obtained without requiring the SPR condition. Thus, our observer can be applied to a wider class of systems.

直流输电系统用直流分压器现场检测方法研究

对直流输电系统中所用直流分压器设备的准确度进行现场检测,目前国内还没有检定规程或校准规范和实施程序。根据现场环境,提出使用桥式电阻分压器自校准的方法,提出现场实施程序,注意事项,主要仪器的选型及误差分析,分析了现场存在的影响因素,以及影响程度,并完成模拟现场环境的验证试验,试验数据表明,该方法及其实施过程符合直流分压器现场检测要求,对现场检测试验具有指导意义,并可为实验室检定提供参考价值。     

An Ultra-Low-Power Embedded EEPROM for Passive RFID Tags

采用Chartered 0.35μm EEPROM工艺设计并实现了一个适用于无源射频电子标签的256位超低功耗EEPROM存储器.芯片实现了块编程和擦写功能,并通过优化敏感放大器和控制逻辑的结构,实现了读存储器时间和功耗的最优化.最后给出了芯片在编程/擦写/读操作情况下的功耗测试结果.在电源电压为1.8V,数据率为640kHz时,EEPROM编程/擦写的平均功耗约为68μA,读操作平均功耗约为0.6μA.     

Solvent-vapor induced self-assembly of a conjugated polymer: A correlation between solvent nature and transistor performance

A systematical investigation on solvent-vapor annealing in polymer thin film transistors is performed using a thiazolothiazole-bithiazole conjugated polymer as the active layer. Film morphology, packing order and device performance are closely related to polarity and solubility parameter of the annealing solvent and annealing time. The formation of highly ordered and closely connected fibrillar domains is realized by using a solvent with similar solubility parameter and polarity to the conjugated polymer. Field-effect transistors based on pristine polymer films exhibit a highest charge carrier mobility of 0.0067 cm² V⁻¹ s⁻¹. After solvent vapor annealing with THF for 48 h, the mobility boosts up to 0.075 cm² V⁻¹ s⁻¹. This correlation between solvent polarity, solubility parameter and film morphology, packing order and mobility provides a useful guideline towards high performance polymer thin film transistors with solvent-vapor annealing method.
