The rheology and morphology of four sets of binary blends of polyethylene synthesized with metallocene catalysis (metallocene polyethylene: MCPE) with polyolefins prepared using Ziegler‐Natta catalysts have been investigated. The blend systems are MCPE with high density polyethylene (MCPE‐HDPE), polypropylene (MCPE‐PP), poly(propylene‐co‐ethylene) (MCPE‐CoPP), and poly(propylene‐co‐ethylene‐co‐1‐butylene) (MCPE‐TerPP). Cole‐Cole plots [storage melt viscosity (η′) versus loss melt viscosity (η″)], plots of the dynamic storage modulus (G′) versus the dynamic loss modulus (G″), and plots of the log melt viscosity (η*, η′, and η″) versus blend compositions were constructed. The morphology of the blends after microtoming and etching was studied. The phase morphology of MCPE‐HDPE appeared homogeneous, whereas the other three blends were heterogeneous. Rheological and morphological investigations indicated that the MCPE‐HDPE blend was miscible, but the other three blends were immiscible in the melt as well as in the solid state. A wind turbine generator (WTG) system's output is not constant and fluctuates depending on wind conditions. Fluctuating power causes frequency deviations and adverse effects to an isolated power system when large output power from WTG systems is penetrated in the power system. This paper presents an output power control methodology of a WTG for frequency control using a load power estimator. The load power is estimated by a disturbance observer, and the output power command of the WTG is determined according to the estimated load. Besides, the WTG can also be controlled during wind turbulence since the output power command is determined by considering wind conditions. The reduction of the power system frequency deviation by using the WTG can be achieved by the proposed method. The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated by numerical simulations. The case has been established that the wind power plant must be treated as an integral part of the electric system, thereby constituting the wind energy conversion system. Recent advancement in size and technology of wind turbines requires sophisticated control systems to effectively optimize energy conversion and enhance grid integration. As a first step toward controller design, modelling has become a prerequisite. This paper explores controller design based on modelling the wind speed as a stochastic process, and the wind turbine as a multi‐mass system with a soft shaft linking the turbine with the doubly fed induction generator. A control strategy incorporating a linear quadratic Gaussian (LQG) that relies on state estimation for full‐state feedback is proposed to augment a linear controller for generator torque control. The control objectives are to reduce stresses on the drivetrain and to ensure operation geared toward optimal power conversion. This study focuses on above‐rated wind speeds, and the LQG's main purpose is to add damping to the drivetrain, thereby minimizing cyclic fatigue, while a pitch control mechanism prevents rotor overspeed, thereby maintaining rated power. Nowadays, a wind turbine generator (WTG) is required to provide control capabilities as the output power of WTG fluctuates. Under this scenario, this paper proposes an output power control method of a wind farm (WF) connected to a small power system using pitch angle control. In this control approach, the WF output power control is achieved by two control levels: central and local. In the central control, the WF output power command is determined by considering the frequency deviations and wind speeds using a fuzzy function. Then, the local output power commands for each of the WTGs are based on the proposed dispatch control. In the proposed dispatch control, the output commands of each WTG are determined by considering wind conditions for each of the WTGs. CNT paste consists of organic solution, inorganic binder and filler. Organic solution contains organic resins and solvent including surfactants which finely disperse CNTs. Filler affects surface morphology, electron emission property, viscosity, and rheological characteristics of CNT paste. We used different fillers such as silver and alumina in CNT paste for special function. The emission properties of CNT paste with silver are similar to those of CNT paste with alumina if filler portion is the same. From the scanning electron microscope (SEM) different morphologies of CNTs was observed depending on the type of filler. CNT paste which showed good emission property had vertically well-aligned CNTs on the surface after surface treatment using adhesive tape. We measured viscosity and rheological properties with rheometer RS600 from HAAKE. Emission property of CNT paste was evaluated in vacuum chamber of 10− 6 Torr with pulse generator and duty was 1/500. 相似文献

Glass transition temperatures (Tg) of thin poly(styrene-co-methyl methacrylate) and poly(2-vinyl pyridine-co-styrene) films coated on a native oxide surface of Si wafer (100) were measured by ellipsometry. The thickness dependence of Tg can be properly fitted by previously suggested equation developed for homopolymers, based upon a continuous multi-layer model, although one component in thin random copolymer films demonstrates a slightly favorable interaction between a substrate and thin film, and another demonstrates a strongly favorable interaction. Surface and interface have a strong influence on Tg of thin film coated on substrate: the surface has the effect of reducing Tg, whereas the interface increases the Tg according to the degree of interaction between a substrate and thin film. This degree of interaction can be quantified as an interaction parameter (k), and is dependent on the composition of random copolymers. For the estimation of k values of thin random copolymer films, we proposed a parallel type additive function (1/kran=w1/k1+w2/k2) where w is a weight fraction of component. 相似文献

An optimal design formulation is developed to reduce undesirable dynamic effects due to clearance at a joint. The objective function to be minimized is the maximum ratio of the rate of change of the joint force direction (
) to the magnitude of the joint force (R), i.e. max (
) as calculated from the nominal mechanism without clearances. Design variables are the magnitude and the location of an added mass attached to each link.
Numerical examples for an offset slider crank mechanisms are considered. To check suitability of the objective function, the initial and optimized systems are simulated dynamically by integrating the system model equations and the phenomena of contact loss compared. It is found that although max ( ) is not a function of the magnitude of clearances and not of dimensionless form, it is a reasonable indicator of the contact loss phenomena for the single clearance system considered. The input torques have also been obtained and compared, shown to be more uniform in the optimized system. 相似文献
