Constructing perfect steganographic systems   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
We propose steganographic systems for the case when covertexts (containers) are generated by a finite-memory source with possibly unknown statistics. The probability distributions of covertexts with and without hidden information are the same; this means that the proposed stegosystems are perfectly secure, i.e. an observer cannot determine whether hidden information is being transmitted. The speed of transmission of hidden information can be made arbitrary close to the theoretical limit — the Shannon entropy of the source of covertexts. An interesting feature of the suggested stegosystems is that they do not require any (secret or public) key.At the same time, we outline some principled computational limitations on steganography. We show that there are such sources of covertexts, that any stegosystem that has linear (in the length of the covertext) speed of transmission of hidden text must have an exponential Kolmogorov complexity. This shows, in particular, that some assumptions on the sources of covertext are necessary.  相似文献

Leptin is a pleiotropic peptide playing an important role in the regulation of cardiac functions. It is not clear whether leptin directly modulates the mechanical function of atrial cardiomyocytes. We compared the acute effects of leptin on the characteristics of mechanically non-loaded sarcomere shortening and cytosolic Ca2+ concentration ([Ca2+]i) transients in single rat atrial and ventricular cardiomyocytes. We also studied the functional properties of myosin obtained from cardiomyocytes using an in vitro motility assay and assessed the sarcomeric protein phosphorylation. Single cardiomyocytes were exposed to 5, 20, and 60 nM leptin for 60 min. In ventricular cardiomyocytes, 60 nM leptin depressed sarcomere shortening amplitude and decreased the rates of shortening and relaxation. These effects were accompanied by a decrease in the phosphorylation of cMyBP-C, an increase in Tpm phosphorylation, and a slowdown of the sliding velocity of thin filaments over myosin in the in vitro motility assay. In contrast, in atrial cardiomyocytes, the phosphorylation of cMyBP-C and TnI increased, and the characteristics of sarcomere shortening did not change. Leptin had no effect on the characteristics of [Ca2+]i transients in ventricular cardiomyocytes, while 5 nM leptin prolonged [Ca2+]i transients in atrial cardiomyocytes. Thus, leptin-induced changes in contractility of ventricular cardiomyocytes may be attributed to the direct effects of leptin on cross-bridge kinetics and sarcomeric protein properties rather than changes in [Ca2+]i. We also suggest that the observed differences between atrial and ventricular cardiomyocytes may be associated with the peculiarities of the expression of leptin receptors, as well as signaling pathways in the atrial and ventricular myocardium.  相似文献

Exposure to lead is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases. Outbred white male rats were injected with lead acetate intraperitoneally three times a week and/or were forced to run at a speed of 25 m/min for 10 min 5 days a week. We performed noninvasive recording of arterial pressure, electrocardiogram and breathing parameters, and assessed some biochemical characteristics. Electrophoresis in polyacrylamide gel was used to determine the ratio of myosin heavy chains. An in vitro motility assay was employed to measure the sliding velocity of regulated thin filaments on myosin. Isolated multicellular preparations of the right ventricle myocardium were used to study contractility in isometric and physiological modes of contraction. Exercise under lead intoxication normalized the level of calcium and activity of the angiotensin-converting enzyme in the blood serum, normalized the isoelectric line voltage and T-wave amplitude on the electrocardiogram, increased the level of creatine kinase-MB and reduced the inspiratory rate. Additionally, the maximum sliding velocity and the myosin heavy chain ratio were partly normalized. The effect of exercise under lead intoxication on myocardial contractility was found to be variable. In toto, muscular loading was found to attenuate the effects of lead intoxication, as judged by the indicators of the cardiovascular system.  相似文献

Pt(IV) prodrugs remain one of the most promising alternatives to conventional Pt(II) therapy due to their versatility in axial ligand choice and delayed mode of action. Selective activation from an external source is especially attractive due to the opportunity to control the activity of an antitumor drug in space and time and avoid damage to normal tissues. In this review, we discuss recent advances in photoabsorber-mediated photocontrollable activation of Pt(IV) prodrugs. Two main approaches developed are the focus of the review. The first one is the photocatalytic strategy based on the flavin derivatives that are not covalently bound to the Pt(IV) substrate. The second one is the conjugation of photoactive molecules with the Pt(II) drug via axial position, yielding dual-action Pt(IV) molecules capable of the controllable release of Pt(II) cytotoxic agents. Thus, Pt(IV) prodrugs with a light-controlled mode of activation are non-toxic in the absence of light, but show high antiproliferative activity when irradiated. The susceptibility of Pt(IV) prodrugs to photoreduction, photoactivation mechanisms, and biological activity is considered in this review.  相似文献

Optoacoustic (OA, photoacoustic) imaging synergistically combines rich optical contrast with the resolution of ultrasound within light-scattering biological tissues. Contrast agents have become essential to boost deep-tissue OA sensitivity and fully exploit the capabilities of state-of-the-art OA imaging systems, thus facilitating the clinical translation of this modality. Inorganic particles with sizes of several microns can also be individually localized and tracked, thus enabling new applications in drug delivery, microrobotics, or super-resolution imaging. However, significant concerns have been raised regarding the low bio-degradability and potential toxic effects of inorganic particles. Bio-based, biodegradable nano- and microcapsules consisting of an aqueous core with clinically-approved indocyanine green (ICG) and a cross-linked casein shell obtained in an inverse emulsion approach are introduced. The feasibility to provide contrast-enhanced in vivo OA imaging with nanocapsules as well as localizing and tracking individual larger microcapsules of 4–5 µm is demonstrated. All components of the developed capsules are safe for human use and the inverse emulsion approach is known to be compatible with a variety of shell materials and payloads. Hence, the enhanced OA imaging performance can be exploited in multiple biomedical studies and can open a route to clinical approval of agents detectable at a single-particle level.  相似文献

The gauge theory for the Poincaré -Weyl group is constructed. It is shown that tetrads are not true gauge fields, but are functions of the true gauge fields: rotational, translational and dilatational ones. The equations of gauge fields, whose sources are an energy-momentum tensor, orbital and spin momemta as well as a dilatational current of an external field, are obtained. A new direct interaction of the rotational gauge field with the orbital momentum of an external field appears, which describes some new effects connected with the space gyroscope Probe B experiment. A methodology for determining the optimal voxel size for phase thresholding in nanostructured materials was developed using an atom simulator and a model system of a fixed two-phase composition and volume fraction. The voxel size range was banded by the atom count within each voxel. Some voxel edge lengths were found to be too large, resulting in an averaging of compositional fluctuations; others were too small with concomitant decreases in the signal-to-noise ratio for phase identification. The simulated methodology was then applied to the more complex experimentally determined data set collected from a (Co0.95Fe0.05)88Zr6Hf1B4Cu1 two-phase nanocomposite alloy to validate the approach. In this alloy, Zr and Hf segregated to an intergranular amorphous phase while Fe preferentially segregated to a crystalline phase during the isothermal annealing step that promoted primary crystallization. The atom probe data analysis of the volume fraction was compared to transmission electron microscopy (TEM) dark-field imaging analysis and a lever rule analysis of the volume fraction within the amorphous and crystalline phases of the ribbon.  相似文献

The design and development of a phase fluorometric oxygen (O2 ) sensor system using single-chip CMOS detection and processing integrated circuit (DPIC) and sol-gel derived xerogel thin-film sensor elements is described. The sensor system determines analyte concentrations using the excited state lifetime measurements of an O2-sensitive luminophore (tris(4,7-diphenyl-1,10- phenathroline)ruthenium (II)) embedded in the xerogel matrix. A light emitting diode (LED) is used as the excitation source, and the fluorescence is detected by the DPIC using a 16times16 phototransistor array on-chip. The DPIC also consists of a current mirror, current-to-voltage converter, amplifier, bandpass filter, and phase detector. The DPIC output is a dc voltage that corresponds to the detected fluorescence phase shift. With a 14-kHz modulation frequency, the entire system including driving the LED consumes 80 mW of average power. The sensor system provides stable, reproducible, analytically reliable, and fast response (~20 s) to changes in the gaseous oxygen concentrations and establishes the viability for low cost, low power and miniaturized biochemical sensor systems  相似文献
