Synthesis of 21R AlN polytypoids was investigated using Al and ultrafine SiO2 powder in a flowing nitrogen atmosphere by means of thermal gravity (TG), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), X-ray diffractometer (XRD) and scanning electronic microscope (SEM) linked with energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS). The results showed that the formation mechanism of AlN polytypoids was different from that in reaction sintering process using Si3N4, AlN, Al2O3 and other sintering additive as raw materials. It was suggested that firstly Al reduce SiO2 into Si and is also nitrided into AlN, then AlN, Al2O3 and SiO2 dissolve into silicon liquid until the AlN polytypoids precipitate in saturated liquid in a flowing nitrogen atmosphere at lower than 1700 °C. 相似文献

Three applications of sampling-based sensitivity analysis in conjunction with evidence theory representations for epistemic uncertainty in model inputs are described: (i) an initial exploratory analysis to assess model behavior and provide insights for additional analysis; (ii) a stepwise analysis showing the incremental effects of uncertain variables on complementary cumulative belief functions and complementary cumulative plausibility functions; and (iii) a summary analysis showing a spectrum of variance-based sensitivity analysis results that derive from probability spaces that are consistent with the evidence space under consideration. 相似文献

Connecting people across the “digital divide” is as much a social effort as a technological one. We are developing a community-centred
approach to learn how interaction techniques can compensate for poor communication across the digital divide. We have incorporated
the lessons learned regarding social intelligence design in an abstraction and in a device called the SoftBridge. The SoftBridge
allows communication to flow from endpoints through adapters, getting converted if necessary, and out to destination endpoints.
Field trials are underway with two communities in South Africa: disadvantaged Deaf users and an isolated rural community.
Initial lessons learned show that we have to design user interfaces that allow users to understand and cope with delay. We

A recent paper by Çimen and Banks [2004. Nonlinear optimal tracking control with application to super-tankers for autopilot design. Automatica, 40(11), 1845–1863] on optimal control system design for oil tanker propulsion and heading highlighted the importance of accurately representing the dynamics of such a vessel. Results presented in that paper are based on a simulation model that provides unrealistic results for an oil tanker of the size considered. Therefore, the results obtained from the simulated ship control problem are not representative of the physical system being considered. Emission characteristics of an electron-beam-pumped Cd(Zn)Se/ZnMgSSe semiconductor laser are studied. The laser’s active region consists of a set of ten equidistant ZnSe quantum wells containing fractional-monolayer CdSe quantum-dot inserts and a waveguide formed by a short-period superlattice with the net thickness of ~0.65 μm. Lasing occurs at room temperature at a wavelength of 542 nm. Pulsed power as high as 12 W per cavity face and an unprecedentedly high efficiency of ~8.5% are attained for the electron-beam energy of 23 keV. 相似文献

By applying a combination of characterisation tools, changes in structural and superconducting properties with nominal Mg non‐stoichiometry in MgxB2 are found. The non‐stoichiometry produces enhanced in‐field critical current densities (Jc's) and upper critical field / irreversibility field (Hc2/Hirr(T)) values. Upper critical fields of ~ 21 T (4.2 K) were obtained in nominal Mg‐deficient samples compared to ~ 17 T (4.2 K) for near‐stoichiometric samples. 相似文献

Zusammenfassung der Untersuchungsergebnisse Nach dem Ergebnis dieser Unterschung kann als festgestellt gelten, daß durch den Befall mit Fusarium roseum bezw. Gibberella Saubinetii die Stärke der befallenen Gerste in einer atypischen Weise korrodiert wird. Die Art dieser Korrodierung unterscheidet sich wesentlich, sowohl von der Korrodierung im keimenden Korn, als auch von der bei starkem Schimmelpilzbefall beobachteten Korrodierung. Die Ursache für die atypische Korrodierung kann in einem örtlichen Nährstoffentzug durch die Pilzhyphen angenommen werden (lokale Frementbildung). Da solche atypisch korrodierte Stärke in den von Fusarium roseum befallenen Teilen eines Kornes immer angetroffen wird, kann diese Veränderung zur Diagnose des Pilzes im Schrot und Mehl mit herangezogen werden.bedeutet mit Abbildungen. 相似文献

Transglutaminase (TGase) was separated from the culture broth of an isolated strain of Streptoverticillium mobaraense. The crude enzyme was prepared by centrifugation, ultrafiltration, precipitation by alcohol, centrifugation and freeze‐drying. The yield after these processes was 65–70%. Then the enzyme was purified to homogeneity by chromatography on CM‐cellulose and Sephadex G‐75 on which the yields were about 70% and 80%, respectively; the purified folds reached 2.5–4.7 and 1.08–2.06, respectively. The molecular weight of this TGase was 39,500–40,100 Da by gel filtration chromatography. Optimum enzyme activity was observed in the pH range of 5.0–7.0, and it was maintained stable at 20–40C. The optimal temperature and pH was 52C and 6.0, respectively. At 1 mM and 5 mM metal ion or inhibitors concentration, TGase activity was strongly inhibited by Zn2+ and NEM, and not affected obviously by Ba2+, Ca2+, Co2+, Cu2+, Fe2+, Fe3+, Mg2+, Mn2+, Na+ as well as PMSF and EDTA. A new chromosome encoding method, named fuzzy coding, is proposed for representing real number parameters in a genetic algorithm. Fuzzy coding provides the value of a parameter on the basis of the optimum number of selected fuzzy sets and their effectiveness in terms of degree of membership. Thus, it represents the knowledge associated with each parameter and is an indirect method of encoding compared with alternatives, where the parameters are directly represented in the encoding. Fuzzy coding is described and compared with conventional binary coding, gray coding, and floating-point coding. Two test examples, along with neural identification of a nonlinear pH process from experimental data, are studied. It is shown that fuzzy coding is better than the conventional methods and is effective for parameter optimization in problems where the search space is complicated. 相似文献
