Films of C60, at different stages of annealing of Tt=200°and 300°C have been electrically characterized over the temperature domain from -130°C to Tt. X-ray diffraction revealed a random polycrystalline fee structure with stacking defects of an intrinsic nature, due to deposition conditions. The value of room-temperature conductivity was found to be in the range (6.3-1.0) *10-10 (0cm)-1. In the stable annealed state the conductivity showed an activated temperature dependence above 423 K and a non-activated dependence below 330-280 K. The activation energies Ea = 0.8 eV (film thickness 0.70 μm) and Ea = 1.0 eV (film thickness 2.40 μm) were in good agreement with the energy gap values (1.63 eV and 2.08 eV) which were deduced from the absorption spectral dependence. Annealing decreased the non-activated contribution to conduction, extending the intrinsic conduction temperature range.  相似文献

Iron Fischer–Tropsch (F–T) catalyst particles break-up during reaction in slurry phase reactors by physical attrition, and due to chemical stresses caused by phase transformations. Although chemical attrition is known to be important with iron (Fe) F–T catalysts, there have been no studies of attrition properties of precipitated Fe catalysts under reaction conditions. Here we report on attrition properties of three precipitated Fe catalysts (100 Fe/3–5 Cu/4–6 K/16–25 SiO2) during F–T synthesis in a stirred tank slurry reactor (STSR). Our results show that after 295–497 h of F–T synthesis with these three catalysts in the STSR, the particle size reduction by fracture was moderate, whereas erosion (generation of particles smaller than 10 m) was small (2.3–2.7). The attrition strength of these catalysts is adequate for use in Slurry bubble column reactors (SBCRs) for F–T synthesis.  相似文献

Reverse engineering problems concerning the reconstruction and identification of gene regulatory networks through gene expression data are central issues in computational molecular biology and have become the focus of much research in the last few years. An approach has been proposed for inferring the complex causal relationships among genes from microarray experimental data, which is based on a novel neural fuzzy recurrent network. The method derives information on the gene interactions in a highly interpretable form (fuzzy rules) and takes into account the dynamical aspects of gene regulation through its recurrent structure. To determine the efficiency of the proposed approach, microarray data from two experiments relating to Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Escherichia coli have been used and experiments concerning gene expression time course prediction have been conducted. The interactions that have been retrieved among a set of genes known to be highly regulated during the yeast cell-cycle are validated by previous biological studies. The method surpasses other computational techniques, which have attempted genetic network reconstruction, by being able to recover significantly more biologically valid relationships among genes  相似文献

Objective: The potential contribution of asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA) and high-sensitivity C reactive protein (hsCRP) to endothelial dysfunction in APS patients has not been studied in detail, until now. The study involved 105 APS patients (59 diagnosed with primary APS (PAPS) and 46 APS associated with systemic lupus erythematosus (SAPS)) who were compared to 40 controls. Endothelial dysfunction was assessed by measurement of flow-mediated dilatation (FMD) and glyceryl trinitrate dilatation (NMD) of the brachial artery. ADMA (micromol/L) was analyzed by ELISA. Results: FMD in patients with APS was significantly lower than that of the controls (p < 0.001), with no difference between the PAPS and the SAPS groups. ADMA and hsCRP concentrations were significantly higher in the patient cohort than in the control group (p < 0.001, p = 0.006, respectively), as was the case with the SAPS group as compared to the PAPS group (p < 0.001, p = 0.022, respectively). FMD impairment correlated to ADMA (ρ 0.472, p < 0.001) and to hsCRP (ρ 0.181, p = 0.033). In the regression model, the ADMA concentration confirmed the strength of its association (B 0.518, SE 0.183, Wald 8.041, p = 0.005, Exp(B) 1.679, 95% CI 1.174–2.402) to FMD impairment. The synergistic probability model of ADMA and hsCRP caused FMD impairment when the positivity of β2GPIIgG was added. ADMA may be used as a simple and low-cost tool for verifying the presence of endothelial dysfunction in APS patients. According to the results of the study, we could presume that hsCRP, together with aPL, has a preparatory effect on the endothelium in causing endothelial dysfunction.  相似文献

Two techniques that improve existing local torque optimization methods for redundant robotic mechanisms are proposed. The first technique is based on a balancing scheme, which balances a joint torque norm against a norm of joint accelerations. Expressions have been derived utilizing the Lagrangian multipliers method. The other technique is based on a torque optimization method which minimizes torques through accelerations, obtained from the null-space of the Jacobian matrix. These accelerations are balanced against the minimum-norm acceleration component in order to improve the performance. Numerical simulations have been carried out which in most cases illustrate good performance capability from the viewpoint of torque optimization and global stability.  相似文献

There are shown the main factors related to the artificial lens, viscoelastic materials and sutures, which may provoke inflammatory reactions. The symptoms may appear early after the operation or later. The ionic composition of the airway surface liquid (ASL) in healthy individuals and in patients with cystic fibrosis (CF) has been debated. Ion transport properties of the upper airway epithelium are similar to those of the lower airways and it is easier to collect nasal ASL from the nose. ASL was collected with ion exchange beads, and the elemental composition of nasal fluid was determined by X-ray microanalysis in healthy subjects, CF patients, CF heterozygotes, patients with rhinitis, and with primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD). In healthy subjects, the ionic concentrations were approximately isotonic. In CF patients, CF heterozygotes, rhinitis, and PCD patients, [Na] and [Cl] were significantly higher compared when compared with those in controls. [K] was significantly higher in CF and PCD patients compared with that in controls. Severely affected CF patients had higher ionic concentrations in their nasal ASL than in patients with mild or moderate symptoms. Female CF patients had higher levels of Na, Cl, and K than male patients. As higher salt concentrations in the ASL are also found in other patients with airway diseases involving chronic inflammation, it appears likely that inflammation-induced epithelial damage is important in determining the ionic composition of the ASL.  相似文献

Reactive distillation, simultaneous reaction and separation within a single unit, represents an exciting alternative to conventional processes, leading to significantly reduced in capital and operating costs. Process design for reactive distillation is facilitated by fast and effective methods for synthesis and conceptual design that take into account reactions that do not instantaneously reach equilibrium. This work presents a new methodology for synthesis and design of single-feed kinetically controlled reactive distillation columns. The design method allows rapid and relatively simple screening of different reactive distillation column configurations. Feasibility is assessed and operating conditions are determined using an extension of boundary-value methods. The approach is limited to systems with four or fewer chemical species. Both fully reactive and hybrid columns are considered. The methodology is illustrated for a metathesis reaction and for MTBE production.  相似文献
