Over the past decade, member states of the Regional Co-operation Agreement (RCA), an intergovernmental agreement for the East Asia and Pacific region under the auspices of the IAEA with the assistance of international organizations and financial institutions such as the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank, have started to set in place policies and legislation for air pollution abatement. To support planning and evaluate the effectiveness of control programs, data are needed that characterizes urban air quality. The focus of this measurement program describe in this report is on size segregated particulate air pollution. Such airborne particulate matter can have a significant impact on human health and urban visibility. These data provide the input to receptor models that may permit the mitigation of these impacts by identification and quantitative apportionment of the particle sources. The aim of this report is to provide an overview of the measurements of concentrations and composition of particulate air pollution in two size fractions across the participating countries. For many of the large cities in this region, the measured particulate matter concentrations are greater than air quality standards or guidelines that have been adopted in developed countries.  相似文献

A real-time system for capturing humans in 3D and placing them into a mixed reality environment is presented in this paper. Nine cameras surrounding her capture the subject. Looking through a head-mounted-display with a camera in front pointing at a marker, the user can see the 3D image of this subject overlaid onto a mixed reality scene. The 3D images of the subject viewed from this viewpoint are constructed using a robust and fast shape-from-silhouette algorithm. The paper also presents several techniques to produce good quality and speed up the whole system. The frame rate of our system is around 25 fps using only standard Intel processor-based personal computers. Besides a remote live 3D conferencing and collaborating system, we also describe an application of the system in art and entertainment, named Magic Land, which is a mixed reality environment where captured avatars of human and 3D computer generated virtual animations can form an interactive story and play with each other. This system demonstrates many technologies in human computer interaction: mixed reality, tangible interaction, and 3D communication. The result of the user study not only emphasizes the benefits, but also addresses some issues of these technologies.  相似文献

β-MoO3, the molybdenum oxide phase with the highest catalytic activity, is a promising material in optical, chemical, and electronics applications as a replacement for α-MoO3. α-MoO3 1D nanostructures such as whiskers and fibers have been investigated and used in applications. However, difficulties in the synthesis of one-dimensional β-MoO3 have obstructed researchers in the study of its properties. In this research, β-MoO3 nanowhiskers were synthesized from core/shell molybdenum/molybdenum oxide wires by pulsed wire discharge in mixed oxygen and argon gases. X-ray diffraction analysis identified the main phase in the obtained samples as β-MoO3. Electron microscopy observations revealed whiskers with an average length and width of 216 nm and 23 nm, respectively. Transmission electron microscopy lattice imaging confirmed the successful synthesis of β-MoO3 nanowhiskers. Various models were considered to explain the formation of β-MoO3 nanowhiskers, including mechanical fragmentation of α-MoO3 layers as well as vapor-liquid-solid and vapor-solid mechanisms. The phase transformation from α to β-MoO3 under a nucleation process was explained based on the Mo-O phase diagram. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of β-MoO3 nanowhisker synthesis.  相似文献

There have been many digital signature schemes were developed based on the discrete logarithm problem on a finite field. In this study, we use the elliptic curve discrete logarithm problem to build new collective signature schemes. The cryptosystem on elliptic curve allows to generate digital signatures with the same level of security as other cryptosystems but with smaller keys. To extend practical applicability and enhance the security level of the group signature protocols, we propose two new types of collective digital signature schemes based on the discrete logarithm problem on the elliptic curve: i) the collective digital signature scheme shared by several signing groups and ii) the collective digital signature scheme shared by several signing groups and several individual signers. These two new types of collective signatures have combined the advantages of group digital signatures and collective digital signatures. These signatures have a fixed size and do not depend on the number of members participating in the creation of the final collective signature. One of the advantages of the proposed collective signature protocols is that they can be deployed on top of the available public key infrastructures.  相似文献

Nanostructured tin (IV) oxide (SnO2) is emerging as an ideal inorganic electron transport layer in n–i–p perovskite devices, due to superior electronic and low‐temperature processing properties. However, significant differences in current–voltage performance and hysteresis phenomena arise as a result of the chosen fabrication technique. This indicates enormous scope to optimize the electron transport layer (ETL), however, to date the understanding of the origin of these phenomena is lacking. Reported here is a first comparison of two common SnO2 ETLs with contrasting performance and hysteresis phenomena, with an experimental strategy to combine the beneficial properties in a bilayer ETL architecture. In doing so, this is demonstrated to eliminate room‐temperature hysteresis while simultaneously attaining impressive power conversion efficiency (PCE) greater than 20%. This approach highlights a new way to design custom ETLs using functional thin‐film coatings of nanomaterials with optimized characteristics for stable, efficient, perovskite solar cells.  相似文献

In this study, the AdaBoost, MultiBoost and RealAdaBoost methods were combined with the Quadratic Discriminant Analysis method to develop three new GIS-based Machine Learning ensemble models, i.e., ABQDA, MBQDA, and RABQDA for groundwater potential mapping in the Dak Nong Province, Vietnam. In total, 227 groundwater wells and 12 conditioning factors (infiltration, rainfall, river density, topographic wetness index, sediment transport index, stream power index, elevation, aspect, curvature, slope, soil, and land use) were used for this study. Performance of the models was evaluated using the Area Under the Receiver Operating Characteristics Curve AUC (AUC) and several other performance metrics. The results showed that the ABQDA model that achieved AUC?=?0.741 was superior to the other models in producing an accurate map of groundwater potential for the Dak Nong Province. The models and potential maps produced here can help policymakers and water resources managers to preserve an optimal exploit from these vital resources.
