ABSTRACTThe use of hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) as a non-metal heterogeneous catalyst has been a popular subject in research since the discovery of its catalytic properties in 2016. Previous work found that an activation step was necessary for producing an effective catalyst. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations indicate defect sites, such as nitrogen (VN) and boron (VB) vacancies, bind favourably to olefins, hydrogen, and oxygen. In particular, the visible fluorescence intensity of processed h-BN increased with the length of exposure to air. The fluorescence behaviour of dh-BN powders when exposed to air after exposure to species such as argon, propene, and carbon dioxide is presented. Density of state calculations for molecular and atomic oxygen bound to VN and VB show that this increase in fluorescence may be due to atomic oxygen binding to VN. The fluorescence emission behaviour observed in dh-BN powders and its relationship to DOS of oxygen species bound to catalytically active defect sites provides a better understanding of potential deactivation modes for catalysts based on dh-BN. 相似文献

In this paper, we analyze the tradeoff between outage probability (OP) and intercept probability (IP) for a multi‐hop relaying scheme in cognitive radio (CR) networks. In the proposed protocol, a multi‐antenna primary transmitter (PT) communicates with a multi‐antenna primary receiver (PR), using transmit antenna selection (TAS) / selection combining (SC) technique, while a secondary source attempts to transmit its data to a secondary destination via a multi‐hop approach in presence of a secondary eavesdropper. The secondary transmitters such as source and relays have to adjust their transmit power to satisfy total interference constraint given by PR. We consider an asymmetric fading channel model, where the secondary channels are Rician fading, while the remaining ones experience the Rayleigh fading. Moreover, an optimal interference allocation method is proposed to minimize OP of the primary network. For the secondary network, we derive exact expressions of end‐to‐end OP and IP which are verified by Monte Carlo simulations. 相似文献

To realize the potential of Mott transition of multiphasic vanadium oxides (VOx) for memory applications, the development of VOx memtransistors on SiO2 wafer is introduced. Through electrical characterizations, the volatile memory behaviors of the VOx memtransistors are observed in both two- and three-terminal measurements. Their capacitive memory and resistive switching mechanisms are strongly related to the mixed VOx/SiO2 interface (called VSiOx). VSiOx supports the Mott transition in VOx at low bias voltages (<0.5 V), leading to the low power consumption of the memtransistor. Moreover, the fast switching time (≈35 ns) and tunable memory retention with the synaptic functions (potentiation and depression) of the memtransistors (by using the gate and drain biases) are demonstrated. Overall, the findings open up major opportunities for constructing ultrafast and femto-joule power-consuming neuromorphic devices. 相似文献
