Based on the multichamber model, prediction evaluations of the transfer of 137Cs and 90Sr in the Iput river for 100 years after the Chernobyl accident have been performed. In the course of investigation, the indicated time range was subdivided into three periods: the first period covered April–December of 1986 (retrospective evaluation), the second period embraced the years 1987–2000, and the third period covered the years 2000–2080 (long-term prediction). The prediction evaluations of migration of radioactive contaminants in the Iput river have shown that over the course of a century the concentrations of 137Cs in the Iput river network will decrease nearly 3000 times and the concentrations of 90Sr will decrease 10,000 times. Flash photolysis experiments have been carried out for the first time on a hemoglobin ferrous cyanide adduct with an 8 ns laser pulse. A 95% nonexponential rebinding process occurs within 2 micros after full photolysis in ferrous cyanide dimeric Scapharca inaequivalvis hemoglobin (HbI), indicating that once photolyzed the cyanide anion is not able to escape from the protein matrix and rebinds to the heme iron. The resonance Raman spectrum of the 10 ns photoproduct is identical to that of the fully relaxed deoxy derivative, indicating that in the ferrous cyanide HbI adduct protein relaxation occurs within 10 ns after photolysis. This behavior is at variance with that of the carbonmonoxy HbI derivative in which very little geminate rebinding is observed and the photoproduct relaxes with a lifetime of 1 micros. The fast relaxation of the cyanide HbI photoproduct can be accounted for by the small perturbation of the heme structure induced by cyanide binding to ferrous HbI. This is consistent with a deoxy-like conformation of the HbI ferrous cyanide adduct and implies that the pathway for relaxation involves only minor local rearrangements of the heme moiety. Photolysis experiments carried out on ferrous cyanide horse myoglobin, which can be saturated only partially, show a qualitatively similar behavior in ligand rebinding, indicating that the geminate process of the cyanide anion is a general phenomenon in hemoproteins. 相似文献

Numerical analysis of an unsteady-state two-dimensional incompressible flow at a Reynolds number of 40000 around a circular cylinder with two vortex cells is carried out on the basis of the finite-volume solution of the Reynolds equations closed by the Menter’s shear-stress transport model. The vortex cells are fitted with slots that ensure suction into the central channel via a fan located and through outflow of a low-pressure jet. It is shown that the suction in small-size cells intensifies the circulatory flow inside it and leads to the rearrangement of a large-scale structure of the flow around the cylinder accompanied by suppression of the Karman vortex street and a slightly symmetrical stabilization of the wake. The frontal drag of the cylinder decreases almost by three times with an optimal coefficient of the sucked air rate. 相似文献
