The void formation and plastic deformation micromechanisms of a cold-rolled DP600 steel during tensile loading were studied by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD).The SEM observations revealed that the main void nucleation mechanism in the DP600 steel is decohesion at the ferrite-martensite interfaces.The voids were mostly observed between the closely spaced martensite islands situated at the boundaries of relatively finer ferrite grains.The EBSD results indicated a strain gradient developed from the ferrite-martensite and ferrite-ferrite interfaces into the interior of ferrite grains during the tensile deformation,which led to a stress concentration at these interfaces.Moreover,it was demonstrated that local misorientation inside the finer ferrite grains surrounded by martensite islands was higher than that for the coarser ferrite grains,which made the former more prone to void initiation. 相似文献

Diffusion joining of commercially pure titanium was successfully prepared via transient liquid phase bonding in vacuum environment. The process was carried out using AMS 4772 silver-based filler alloy at 900–1000°C for various holding time under the vacuum of 6?×?10?7?Torr. Optical and scanning electron microscopy equipped with an EDS analyzer was conducted for microstructural evaluations. Mechanical properties were also investigated by shear test, fractographic assessment and X-ray diffraction analyses. The tendency to achieve isothermally solidified joint increased by increasing bonding time. No sign of athermal solidification was detected of sample bonded at 1000°C for 90?min. Consequently, the bonding condition of a high quality joint was obtained. Elemental analyses revealed that filler alloy’s elements (Ag, Cu) distributed more uniformly in fully isothermal solidified bond, whereas the aggregation of these elements is considerable in athermally solidified bond. Shear test results represented that the highest shear strength attributed to the sample bonded in isothermal solidified condition (bonded at 1000°C for 90?min). 相似文献

This paper introduces pictorial intelligent system for human identification (PiSHi), an image-based captcha which uses three human cognitive abilities to distinguish humans from machines. The first is the human ability to easily recognise the image’s upright orientation. The second is the human brain’s ability in recognising a picture’s content when it is only partially visible. And the third is the human ability in unconscious decision making when encountering pictorial challenges. This work models such complicated human patterns in problem solving for the first time. In order to extract these behavioural patterns and save them in a pattern database, we have implemented our own captcha and performed a series of experiments. PiSHi’s interface presents the user with a set of distorted pictures and asks her to click on the upright orientation of all the pictures in any preferred order. Next, it captures the user’s interaction patterns, compares them with the ones saved in the pattern database, and grants her a corresponding credit. Based on this credit, the user either passes or fails the test, and participates in updating the picture database. Our experiments indicate that human users can solve our proposed captcha effectively—with an accuracy of 99.44 %. Besides, our proposed system is secure against several types of attacks including random guessing and reverse image search engines. The results offer the possibility of utilising the identified human behavioural models in practical captchas. 相似文献

The scratch behavior of butyl-acrylate rubber-modified styrene-acrylonitrile (ASA) upon high temperature annealing is investigated following the ASTM D7027/ISO 19252 linearly increasing normal load test methodology. The critical normal loads at the onset of the major deformation transitions along the scratch path, such as groove formation, scratch visibility, microcrack formation, and plowing, are reported and quantitatively analyzed. It is found that the scratch resistance improves with high temperature annealing, i.e., 30 °C above Tg, as compared to annealing below or around Tg. Microscopic investigation suggests that the increase in scratch resistance is related to the changes in surface morphology of the polymer. It is concluded that performing high temperature annealing enhances the scratch performance without compromising ASA bulk properties. Implication of the present study for improving scratch resistance of polymers is discussed. 相似文献

With the rapid growth of laser applications and the introduction of high efficiency lasers (e.g. fiber lasers), laser material processing has gained increasing importance in a variety of industries. Among the applications of laser technology, laser cladding has received significant attention due to its high potential for material processing such as metallic coating, high value component repair, prototyping, and even low-volume manufacturing. In this paper, two optimization methods have been applied to obtain optimal operating parameters of Laser Solid Freeform Fabrication Process (LSFF) as a real world engineering problem. First, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm was implemented for real-time prediction of melt pool geometry. Then, a hybrid evolutionary algorithm called Self-organizing Pareto based Evolutionary Algorithm (SOPEA) was proposed to find the optimal process parameters. For further assurance on the performance of the proposed optimization technique, it was compared to some well-known vector optimization algorithms such as Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm (NSGA-II) and Strength Pareto Evolutionary Algorithm (SPEA 2). Thereafter, it was applied for simultaneous optimization of clad height and melt pool depth in LSFF process. Since there is no exact mathematical model for the clad height (deposited layer thickness) and the melt pool depth, the authors developed two Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference Systems (ANFIS) to estimate these two process parameters. Optimization procedure being done, the archived non-dominated solutions were surveyed to find the appropriate ranges of process parameters with acceptable dilutions. Finally, the selected optimal ranges were used to find a case with the minimum rapid prototyping time. The results indicate the acceptable potential of evolutionary strategies for controlling and optimization of LSFF process as a complicated engineering problem. 相似文献
