In the present study,(Fe,Cr)_3Al/20 vol% Al_2O_3 nanocomposite was prepared through mechanochemical reactions during ball milling and successfully bulked using a combination of cold isostatic press and sintering at 1400 ℃ for 1 h. Two processing approaches were utilized to produce(Fe,Cr)_3Al/Al_2O_3 nanocomposite: The first was milling of Fe, Cr,Al and Fe_2O_3, while the second one was milling of Fe, Cr, Al and Cr_2O_3, both in stoichiometric condition, to synthesize(Fe,Cr)_3Al/20 vol% Al_2O_3. Structural changes of powder particles during mechanical alloying were studied by X-ray diffraction. The microstructure and the morphology of powder particles and bulk samples were also studied by scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. Microstructural analysis showed that mechanochemical reactions took place during milling, and nanometric Al_2O_3 was uniformly distributed in the matrix. The results also showed that the second approach required a considerably higher milling time to produce(Fe,Cr)_3Al/Al_2O_3 nanocomposite, as compared to the first one. For this reason, bulk samples were produced from the synthesized nanocomposite in the first approach. The microstructure of the sintered samples consisted of a network structure of(Fe,Cr)_3Al and Al_2O_3 phases with superior mechanical properties.  相似文献

One of the most appropriate ways for energy storage is producing hydrogen from renewable resources. Wind energy is recognized as one of the widely used renewable energy resources. This paper investigates the use of wind energy for producing hydrogen in Iran. To achieve this, the country is divided into five major regions: center, north, south, east and west. The performance of three large-scale commercial wind turbines, ranging from 1500 kW to 3000 kW at hub height of 80 m and four large-scale wind turbine ranging from 2000 kW to 4500 kW at hub height of 120 m are evaluated for producing hydrogen in 150 wind stations in Iran. All wind data were recorded based on 10-min time intervals for more than one year at different wind mast heights. For estimating Weibull parameters, the Standard Deviation Method (SDM), Empirical Method of Lysen (EML) and Power Density Method (PDM) are used. An extrapolation method is used to determine the shape and the scale parameters of the Weibull distribution at the high attitudes of 80 m and 120 m. Then, power law and surface roughness exponents, capacity factor, annual energy production and annual hydrogen production for the wind sites are determined. The results indicate that rated power is not the only determinative parameter and the highest hydrogen production is from the GW-109/2500 wind turbine at the hub height of 80 m and from E112/4500 at the hub height of 120 m. For better assessment, the amount of hydrogen production is depicted in Geographic Information Science (GIS) maps using power production of the seven wind turbine models. Next by analyzing these GIS maps, it is found that there are significant potentials in north, north-west, east and south of Iran for producing hydrogen from wind energy.  相似文献

This report aims to reduce the benzene in a mixture of benzene and toluene as a model reaction using catalytic hydrogenation. In this research, we developed a series of catalysts with different supports such as Ni/HMS, Ni/HZSM-5, Ni/HZSM5-HMS, Ni/Al_2O_3 and Ni/SiO_2. Kinetic of this reaction was investigated under various hydrogen and benzene pressures. For more study, two kinetic models have also been selected and tested to describe the kinetics for this reaction. Both used models, the power law and Langmuir–Hinshelwood, provided a good fit toward the experimental data and allowed to determine the kinetic parameters. Among these catalysts, Ni/Al_2O_3 showed the maximum benzene conversion(99.19%) at 130 °C for benzene hydrogenation. The lowest toluene conversion was observed for Ni/SiO_2. Furthermore, this catalyst presented high selectivity to benzene(75.26%)at 130 °C. The catalytic performance(activity, selectivity and stability) and kinetics evaluations were shown that the Ni/SiO_2 is an effective catalyst to hydrogenate benzene. It seems that the surface properties particularly pore size are effective parameter compared to other factors such as acidity and metal dispersion in this process.  相似文献

The nanocomposites of low‐density polyethylene contain graphene (LDPE/Gr) and low‐density polyethylene contains carbon‐nanotubes (LDPE/CNTs) with different Gr loadings (0.5, 1, and 3 wt%) were formulated with a melt‐mixing method. The distribution of Grs in LDPE was detected by scanning electron microscopy. In this study, morphological, electrical, thermal, tensile, and rheological properties of nanocomposites were comparatively investigated. The outcomes were reviewed and it was recognized that LDPE/Gr nanocomposites reveal superior properties than LDPE/CNTs nanocomposites at the same loadings. The superior performance of LDPE/Gr nanocomposites attributes to the large aspect ratio of Gr and its two dimensional flat surfaces which effect in increasing physical interlinking with LDPE chains and expanded the interface zone at filler–LDPE interface. It was also identified that the achieved results for LDPE/CNT nanocomposites, which has a compact surface area and linkage with LDPE, are less noticeable than similar Gr compounds due to higher interfacial interactions between Gr and LDPE. The thermomechanical results of LDPE/Gr nanocomposites have been studied and the influence of nanoscaled strengthening in the thermoplastic matrix has been investigated. The existence of Gr limits the flexibility of LDPE chains, increases the rigidity and the strength of the LDPE‐nanocomposites. Evaluation of lattice parameters for convection heat transfer in porous media with internal heat generation from physical and macroscale properties was described. A hierarchical process was defined to implement thermal Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM) to investigate convection heat transfer with internal heat generation in different geometries; from a simple geometry (flow channel) to complex ones (porous media). In this regard, seven different without any obstacle cases with different geometries were designed and the detailed information about how thermal LBM should be implemented for these cases are addressed. Going from one case to the next, the cases with more complex physics and/or geometries were examined. The results showed that LBM is an appropriate method to predict heat transfer with internal heat generation in porous media.  相似文献

Due to heavy loads and the non-availability of suitable construction sites, engineers are often required to place footings at close spacing. These footings influence each other, including effects on load-settlement and bearing capacity behavior. In this research the bearing capacity of closely located ring and circular footings on reinforced sand has been investigated numerically and experimentally. The goal of this study is to evaluate the interference effect on the bearing capacity of adjacent circular and ring footings. Footings on reinforced and unreinforced sand have been investigated. In this research, interference effect of footings, shape effects, effect of spacing between footings and also the effect of reinforcement layer on the bearing capacity are studied. To achieve these objectives laboratory circular and ring footing models and also numerical models were used. Finite element computer code PLAXIS 3D Foundation was used for numerical modeling. Experimental and numerical analysis results show that the ultimate bearing capacity of two closely spaced circular and ring footings is greatest when they stand exactly beside each other and decreases with increase in the spacing to footing diameter ratio (Δ/D). It is found that for Δ/D > 4, the bearing capacity of each adjacent footing is almost the same as that for single footing. This means that for a center-to-center spacing greater than 4D, no significant interference effect was observed and each footing acted more or less independently, similar to a single footing.  相似文献

Nowadays, transportation and logistics are considered as the drivers of economic development in the countries due to their impacts on the main variables of the country's economy such as production, employment, price, and the cost of living. Statistics indicate that fuel consumption constructs a major part of transportation costs, where its optimization leads to the creation of an energy-efficient and sustainable transportation system. On the other hand, vehicles' traffic is also one of the main criteria affecting the travel time of vehicles between demand nodes in a supply chain, increasing fuel consumption, and, consequently, damaging effects of greenhouse gasses. In this paper, a novel robust mixed-integer linear programming model is developed for a green vehicle routing problem with intermediate depots considering different urban traffic conditions, fuel consumption, time windows of services, and uncertain demand for perishable products. To validate and solve the suggested model, CPLEX solver of GAMS software is employed as an exact method. Finally, a case study problem is investigated to evaluate the applicability of the proposed model and determine the optimal managerial insights and policies in the real-world conditions using sensitivity analyses. Moreover, a novel robustness threshold comparison is conducted to find the optimal level of budget assignment.  相似文献
