Space–time coding can achieve transmit diversity and power gain over spatially uncoded systems without sacrificing bandwidth. There are various approaches in coding structures, including space–time block codes. A class of space–time block codes namely quasi-orthogonal space–time block codes can achieve the full rate, but the conventional decoders of these codes experience interference terms resulting from neighboring signals during signal detection. The presence of the interference terms causes an increase in the decoder complexity and a decrease in the performance gain. In this article, we propose a modification to the conventional coding/decoding scheme that will improve performance, reduce decoding complexity, and improve robustness against channel estimation errors as well. 相似文献

In this study, the blend of copper oxide nanopowder (Cu2O), 3 wt.% and poly-N-epoxypropylcarbazole (PEPC), 2 wt.% in benzol were drop-casted on glass substrates with pre-deposited surface-type silver electrodes for the fabrication of Cu2O-PEPC nanocomposite thin films. The thicknesses of the Cu2O-PEPC films were in the range of 10-13 μm. The effect of humidity on the electrical properties of the nanocomposite films was investigated by measurement of the capacitance and dissipation of the samples at two different frequencies of the applied voltage: 120 Hz and 1 kHz. The AC resistance of the samples was determined from values of dissipation. The DC resistance was measured directly. The effect of ageing on the humidity sensing properties of the nanocomposite was observed. After the ageing it was observed that at 120 Hz and 1 kHz, under humidity of up to 86% RH , the capacitance of the cell increased by 85 and 8 times and resistance decreased by 345 and 157 times, accordingly, with respect to 30% RH conditions. It was found that with increase of the frequency, the capacitance and resistance of the samples decreased. It is assumed that the humidity response of the cell is associated with diffusion of water vapors and doping of the semiconductor nanocomposite by water molecules. 相似文献

Plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) has been used to grow corrosion-resistive, semiconducting thin films of the graphite-like polymer polyperinaphthalene (PPN) from 3,4,9,10-perylenetetracarboxylic dianhydride (PTCDA). Unlike thermal chemical vapor deposition of PPN from PTCDA, where thin film growth is catalyzed by a transition metal substrate, PPN films have been grown by PECVD for the first time on non-catalytic substrates: indium tin oxide (ITO)-coated glass, aluminum and silicon. Films with the same morphology and molecular characteristics have also been grown on steel substrates, where iron functions as a growth catalyst. In this paper, the wave propagation approach is employed to study the vibration characteristics of functionally graded material circular cylindrical shells. Axial modal dependence is approximated by exponential functions. This is a very simple and easily applicable technique. This avoids a large amount of algebraic manipulations. A theoretical analysis of shell natural frequencies are conducted for various boundary conditions. Validity and accuracy of the present method are confirmed by comparing the present results with those available in the literature. An efficient dye biosorbent was developed by entrapping a fungus mold, Trichoderma viride, within loofa sponge (LS) matirx. Immobilization enhanced the sorption of dye by 30% at equilibrium as compared with T. viride free biomass (TVFB). The maximum dye biosorption capacity of T. viride immobilized onto loofa sponge (TVILS) and TVFB was found to be 201.52 and 155.06 mg g−1 biomass, respectively. The kinetics of dye removal by TVILS was rapid, with 84.3% sorption within the first 30 min and equilibrium after 90 min, whereas sorption by TVFB was slower as 61.4% dye was removed in first 30 min and equilibrium was achieved in 120 min. Biosorption kinetics and equilibria followed the pseudo-second-order and Langmuir adsorption models. FTIR spectroscopy of T. viride biomass showed that amine, hydroxyl, carbonyl and amide bonds were involved in the sorption of dye. Dye desorption from dye-laden TVILS with 0.1 M HCl was 99%. Regenerated TVILS was reusable without any appreciable decrease in its biosorption capacity during five repeated cycles. The dye removing capacity of TVILS in a continuous-flow column bioreactor was better than in batch-scale procedures. The study shows that TVILS has the potential of application as an efficient biosorbent for the removal of methylene blue from aqueous solutions. 相似文献

During October 2009 to September 2010, aflatoxin M1 (AFM1) levels were analyzed by HPLC-FLD in 356 milk samples of different lactating species (buffalo, cow, goat, sheep and camel) from Punjab (Pakistan). Recoveries of AFM1 ranged from 92 to 97% and the limit of detection (LOD) was 0.004 μg/L. For all lactating species the mean concentration of AFM1 was significantly higher in winter season than in summer (p < 0.05). The results showed that 55, 56, 32, 58 and 27% of winter milk samples of buffalo, cow, goat, sheep and camel exceeded the EU maximum limit (0.05 μg/kg), compared with 38, 33, 21, 36 and 14% of summer milk samples, respectively. For all lactating species the mean concentration of AFM1 was significantly higher in morning milks than in evening milks (p < 0.05). The percentage of morning milk samples exceeding the EU maximum limit was 72, 67, 69, 71 and 44% for buffalo, cow, goat, sheep and camel, while for evening milks percent non compliant rates were 39, 30, 18, 33 and 25%, respectively. The level of AFM1 tended to be higher in animal species fed mainly on concentrate mixtures (buffalo and cow) than in other species grazing on fresh greens. 相似文献

Influence of variables has a great impact upon yield of pectin. The present study was organized to harmonize these variables and examine the extracted pectin. In view of this, bio-characterizion and structure analysis of pectin through FTIR was performed. Additionally, a polydispersity and particle size study was also conducted using dynamic light scattering (DLS) of the Manilkarazapota fruit peel. The best extraction variables according to the response optimization predicted model were noted as pH of 5 at 61.11°C for 90 min of heating time, which lead to a 3.7% yield. Bio-characterization revealed that pectin extracted at pH 5 has characteristics similar to HM pectin influence of methoxyl content, degree of esterification, and Galacturonic acid content at 5.11%, 73. 63%, and 77.7%, respectively. The FTIR spectrum depicted a similar surface structure to food-grade pectin. DLS studies revealed that extracted pectin at pH 5 has a particle size in the range of 390.21–421.17 nm and polydispersity (?) of 28.2%-29.3%. These findings indicate that sapodilla is a potential source of pectin for food and pharmaceutical preparation. 相似文献
