CRAFT is a tweakable block cipher introduced in 2019 that aims to provide strong protection against differential fault analysis. In this paper, we show that CRAFT is vulnerable to side-channel cube attacks. We apply side-channel cube attacks to CRAFT with the Hamming weight leakage assumption. We found that the first half of the secret key can be recovered from the Hamming weight leakage after the first round. Next, using the recovered key bits, we continue our attack to recover the second half of the secret key. We show that the set of equations that are solvable varies depending on the value of the key bits. Our result shows that 99.90% of the key space can be fully recovered within a practical time.  相似文献

Abstract

The results of an experimental study on clear-water scour at long skewed rectangular piers under steady flows at threshold velocity are presented. The scour mechanisms due to skewness effects with a wide range of angle of attack, α, and two sizes of uniform cohesionless bed sediment (d50 = 0.23 and d50 = 0.80 mm) have been investigated in a 50-m-long, 1.5-m-wide, and 2.0-m-deep flume. Empirical relation to demonstrate the effects of skewness in terms of dimensionless variables, such as aspect ratio (L/b), the angle of attack (α), flow shallowness (y/Bα), sediment coarseness (Bα/d50), the sediment gradation coefficient (σg), on scour depth is presented. The empirical relation is focused on predicting the angle of attack factor, Kα. The experimental data obtained in this study and data available from the literature were used to validate the predictions of existing methods and the accuracy of the proposed method. The proposed method gives reasonable scour depth predictions and was verified with statistical methods where the mean error was reduced from 53.6 to 18.1%.  相似文献

This paper presents an application of LMS algorithm with optimum step size (µopt‐LMS) for fading channel estimation. The expression for optimum step size of the LMS algorithm is modified for use in the fading channel estimation problem. Cucurbitaceae family seeds are mostly discarded as agro-industrial wastes. Gurum (Citrullus lanatus var. colocynthoide) is an underutilized wild cucurbit plant, closely related to desert watermelon, which is grown abundantly in some African countries. Gurum seeds can play a significant role in health and nutrition due to their high oil content. This review describes the nutritional composition of gurum seeds and their oil profile. Gurum seeds are a good source of oil (27–35.5%), fiber (26–31%), crude protein (15–18%), and carbohydrates (14–17%). Gurum seeds oil is extracted by supercritical CO2 (SFE), screw press, and solvent extraction techniques. The gurum seeds oil is composed of unsaturated fatty acids with a high proportion of linoleic acid (C18:2) and oleic acid (C18:1). Gurum seeds oil contains various bioactive compounds, such as tocopherols, phytosterols, and polyphenols. It is reported that solvent extraction gives a higher yield than the screw press and SFE, but the SFE is preferred due to safety issues. More studies are required for producing better quality gurum seeds oil by using novel extraction techniques that can increase oil yield.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to investigate the performance of UHMWPE/HDPE-reinforced kenaf, basalt and hybrid kenaf/basalt composites. Mechanical testing of these samples was carried out such as tensile, flexural (three-point bending) and an impact test (Charpy). Pure resin (UHMWPE/HDPE) samples were tested and compare with reinforced 10% weight fraction of kenaf, basalt and hybrid kenaf/basalt samples to identifying their contribution and potential in this new composite material. UHMWPE/ HDPE sample was produced in constant ratio 60:40 respectively via extrusion process. Basalt reinforced UHMWPE/HDPE generates the highest elastic modulus result compared to kenaf and hybrid kenaf/basalt as a reinforcement material. The tensile results of kenaf reinforcement UHMWPE/HDPE samples are significantly higher (20%) than pure blend resin, which is an indication for good performance of kenaf, basalt and hybrid kenaf/basalt to be used in UHMWPE/HDPE-blend polymers. The flexural and Charpy strengths show the drawback results, where performance of polymer is reduced 5% with the absence of kenaf. It can be concluded that kenaf, basalt and hybrid kenaf/basalt fiber successfully increase the UHMWPE/HDPE blends performance especially under tensile loading.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Novel tertiary nanocomposite films comprising of poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA), poly (4-styrenesulfonic acid) (PSSA) and titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles (NPS) were prepared using simple solvent casting method. The structural, thermal, morphological, thermo-mechanical and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding properties of PVA/PSSA/TiO2 nanocomposite films were investigated. The EMI shielding effectiveness (SE) of PVA/PSSA/TiO2 nanocomposite films in the X and Ku band was found to be 12 dB and 13 dB respectively at 25 wt% TiO2 NPs loading. These results demonstrate the possible applications of PVA/PSSA/TiO2 nanocomposite films as low cost, lightweight and flexible material for EMI shielding.  相似文献

Development of cost efficient, flexible and light weight paper electrodes for high-tech applications is high in demand in era of modern disposable technology. In this study α-MnO2 nanorods were fabricated through hydrothermal method by varying growth time and further combined with lignocelluloses fibers extracted from self growing plant, Monochoria Vaginalis. Crystal structure, morphology and thermal properties of MnO2 nanorods were characterized by X. Ray Diffraction (XRD), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM) and Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), respectively. FESEM image analysis revealed the highest aspect ratio of 48.016 for 4?h treated MnO2 sample and high purity level was confirmed by XRD. MnO2 sample with high aspect ratio, relatively pure and larger yield was selected for incorporation of lignocelluloses fibers to fabricate flexible, light-weight and environmentally safe LC/MnO2 composite paper sheet. Furthermore, LC/MnO2 composite sheet was employed as working electrode in 2?M sodium sulfate electrolyte for cyclic voltammetry measurements. Presented LC/MnO2 composite sheet revealed specific capacitances 117, 59, 39, 25 and 23?F/g at scan rates of 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100?mV/s, respectively. Incorporation of LC fibers within MnO2 nanorods as binders will open the possibilities to fabricate the flexible paper electrode for application in supercapacitors and batteries due to facile synthesis, light-weight and environmentally friendly aspects.  相似文献

This research article aims to study the effect of CdO addition on the radiation shielding characteristics of boro-tellurite glasses in the composition of 50B2O3 - (50-x) TeO2- xCdO, where x = 0, 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 mol%. These glasses were exposed to gamma radiation and the transmitted gamma photons were evaluated for energies varying from 15 keV to 15 MeV using Geant4 simulation toolkit. The number of transmitted photons was then used to characterize the gamma shielding for the studied glasses in terms of linear/mass attenuation coefficients, MFP, Zeff, and HVL. The simulation outcomes were theoretically confirmed by using Phy-X software. The beta (electron) shielding characterization of the involved glasses was also investigated by determining the projectile range and stopping power using ESTAR software. Additionally, the fast neutron shielding characterization of the glasses was achieved by evaluating removal cross-section (ΣR). The results reveal that the CdO has a small influence on the shielding performance of the boro-tellurite glasses against gamma, beta, and neutron radiations. The shielding performance of the boro-tellurite glasses was compared with that of common shielding materials in terms of MFP. It can be concluded that the boro-tellurite glasses regardless of the concentration of CdO content have promising shielding performance to be used for radiation applications.  相似文献
