In this study postbuckling behaviors of multiscale composite sandwich doubly curved piezoelectric shell with a flexible core and MR layers by employing Homotopy Perturbation Method in hygrothermal environment has been investigated. By using Reddy third shear deformable theory the face sheets and third-order polynomial theory of the flexible core the strains and stresses are obtained. A mathematical model for the multiscale composite layered shell with a flexible core and magnetorheological layer (MR) that incorporates the nonlinearity of the in-plane and the vertical displacements of the core is assumed. Three-phase composite shells with polymer/Carbon nanotube/fiber and polymer/Graphene platelet/fiber either uniformly or non-uniformly based on different patterns according to Halpin–Tsai model have been considered. The governing equations of multiscale shell have been derived by implementing Hamilton’s principle. Meanwhile, simply supported boundary conditions are employed to the shell. For investigating correctness and accuracy, this paper is validated by other previous researches. Finally, different parameters such as temperature rise, various distribution patterns, magnetic fields and curvature ratio are considered in this article. It is found these parameters have significant effect on the frequency–amplitude curves.
We propose a bi-objective cell formation problem with demand of products expressed in a number of probabilistic scenarios. To deal with the uncertain demand of products, a framework of two-stage stochastic programming model is presented. The proposed model considers minimizing the sum of the miscellaneous costs (machine constant cost, expected machine variable cost, cell fixed-charge cost, and expected intercell movement cost) and expected total cell loading variation. Because of conflicting objectives, we develop a two-phase fuzzy linear programming approach for solving bi-objective cell formation problem. To show the effectiveness of the proposed approach, numerical examples are solved and the results are compared with the two existing approaches in the literature. The computational results show that the proposed fuzzy method achieves lower objective functions as well as higher satisfaction degrees. 相似文献
In this paper, a new noncontact ultrasonic magnetic abrasive finishing mechanism is presented. An ultrasonic vibration producer is used to vibrate the permanent magnets. The ferromagnetic steel grits in the created magnetic field form a flexible finishing tool. To take advantage of cavitation collapse pressure, the finishing zone components are immersed in water. The present work also studies the effect of parameters, i.e., time duration for finishing and working gap between magnetic poles and the workpiece on the surface roughness (Ra). The microscopic pictures and the roughness profile diagrams demonstrate the advantages of the proposed method. 相似文献
An analytical answer to the buckling problem of a composite plate consisted of multi-scale hybrid nanocomposites is presented here for the first time. In other words, the constituent material of the structure is made of an epoxy matrix which is reinforced by both macro- and nanosize reinforcements, namely, carbon fiber (CF) and carbon nanotube (CNT). The effective material properties such as Young’s modulus or density are derived utilizing a micromechanical scheme incorporated with the Halpin–Tsai model. To present a more realistic problem, the plate is placed on a two-parameter elastic substrate. Then, on the basis of an energy-based Hamiltonian approach, the equations of motion are derived using the classical theory of plates. Finally, the governing equations are solved analytically to obtain the critical buckling load of the system. Afterward, the normalized form of the results is presented to emphasize the impact of each parameter on the dimensionless buckling load of composite plates. It is worth mentioning that the effects of various boundary conditions are covered, too. To show the efficiency of presented modeling, the results of this article are compared to those of former attempts.
A series of heterogeneous catalysts including different molar ratios of CaO/talc was synthesized to study the transesterification reaction of canola oil and methanol under different reaction conditions. Characterization and kinetic results revealed that the activity of this catalyst was enhanced due to the increase of CaO/talc molar ratio value leading to an improvement in the biodiesel production. Moreover, the effect of various parameters on the activity of the undertaken catalysts was studied in order to determine the optimum process conditions. Leaching measurements and the durability of the CaO/talc catalyst under several reaction cycles were evaluated and proved it to be a stable catalyst. 相似文献
Ever increasing requirements regarding vehicle safety have led to rapid developments in various joining process. Among FSW widely used for Aluminum alloy welded structure of car body because of their remarkable performance in welding. For a better understanding of this performance, it is necessary to determine the behavior of butt weld in service conditions. In earlier phase of this study, thermo mechanical simulations and analysis are performed to understand the thermal behavior in the FSW weld zones. The developed models are correlated against published experimental results in terms of temperature profile of the weld zone. The objectives of the second part of this work is to develop and demonstrate an FE model of bumper and crash box assembly that would improve on the current modeling techniques for the mechanical response of welds in structural problems. 相似文献

This paper describes the development of “heats” and input variables selection models that are incorporated into a water detection framework for an industrial steelmaking electric arc furnace (EAF). The selection models in this work are developed based on latent variable methods. The latent variable methods used in this work are multiway principal component analysis (MPCA) and multiway projection to latent structures (MPLS). The particular problems related to latent variable methods discussed in this paper include data preprocessing, including alignment, unfolding method, centering, and scaling. The outcome of the heats selection model is heats with normal operation and the outcome of the input variables selection model is variables that are highly correlated with the off-gas water vapour. The water detection framework and developed models are useful in practical settings for the prediction of water leakage and the design of appropriate fault detection and diagnosis strategies. 相似文献
In this study, thermal and small-scale effects on the flapwise bending vibrations of a rotating nanoplate, which can be the basis of nano-turbine design, have been analyzed. The nano-turbine is made of an orthotropic nanoplate with a setting angle that is modeled based on the classical plate theory (CPT) with cantilever boundary conditions. The axial forces are also included in the model as the true spatial variation due to the rotation and temperature change. The governing equations and boundary conditions are derived according to Hamilton's principle and the governing equations are solved with the aid of the generalized differential quadrature method. The effects of small-scale parameter, nondimensional angular velocity, temperature change, and setting angles in the first four nondimensional frequencies are discussed. Due to the consideration of the rotating effects, results of this study are applicable in nano-machines, such as nano-motors, nano-rotor, and other rotating nano-structures. Also, by considering the effect of thermal loading on rotation of a nanoplate, the results are useful in the design of nano-turbines. 相似文献
