The current paper focuses on synthesizing a high-efficiency microwave absorber via incorporating the nanofillers of graphene oxide-polyaniline (GO-PANI), barium-strontium titanate (BST), and soft-hard ferrite within the polyester matrix. The nanocomposite magnets of (Ba0.5Sr0.5Fe12O19)1-x hard/(CoFe2O4)x soft (x = 0.2, 0.5, and 0.8) were prepared using sol-gel auto-combustion method. The GO-PANI and BST were successfully synthesized by in situ polymerization and improved polymerization, respectively. The phase structure, chemical structure, morphology, and microwave absorption properties of the synthesized nanocomposites were characterized by X-ray diffractometer (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), and scanning electron microscope (SEM), vector network analyzer (VNA) techniques, respectively. The results showed that the synergistic effects of the combination of dielectric (BST), conductive (GO-PANI), and magnetic materials (hard-soft ferrites) provided the reflection loss values of less than ?20 dB (>99% absorption) in the X-band region. The minimum reflection loss of ?35 dB (>99.99% absorption) was obtained by the optimal formulation including (Ba0.5Sr0.5Fe12O19)0.2 (CoFe2O4)0.8, and the weight ratio of 1: 2 for both BST/soft-hard ferrite and hard-soft ferrite + BST/GO-PANI with the thickness of 1 mm. According to the results, the thickness factor plays a key role in improving the impedance matching. Consequently, the proposed nanocomposite can be employed as a novel kind of microwave absorbers with good impendence matching and high absorption.  相似文献

Diffusion annealing of palladium-coated Ti-Ni plates was performed at temperatures ranging from 900 °C to 1,000 °C, to accomplish a compositional gradient in Ti-rich, Ti-Ni shape memory alloys. The aim of this study was to increase the transformation temperatures and transformation temperature intervals. Palladium diffusion profiles were measured by energy dispersive spectroscopy, and the corresponding approximate diffusion coefficients of the annealed specimens were calculated. The Gaussian solution of Fick’s second law for the one-dimensional lattice diffusion of a tracer was used. The transformation behavior studies were performed by differential scanning calorimetry. It was depicted that annealed specimens show longer transformation intervals compared to the bare alloy. In addition, annealed specimens showed improved shape memory properties that were attributed to the lower amount of Ti2Ni precipitates in the diffusion layer. The shape memory behaviour of the samples was detected using micro-indentation at room temperature, followed by heating them above the austenite formation temperature to calculate the shape recovery ratio.  相似文献

To reduce flood risk in urban regions, it is important to optimize the performance of operational elements such as gates and pumps. This paper compares the performances of two approaches of multi-period and single-period simulation-optimization that are used to derive real-time control policies for operating urban drainage systems. The EPA storm water management model (SWMM), converting real-time rainfall data to surface runoff at network control points, i.e. pump stations, is linked to the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm, evaluating the system operation performance measure (objective function) for different sets of control policies. A prototype network in a portion of the Seoul urban drainage system is used to investigate the efficiency of the proposed approaches. Results justify the high efficiency of multi-period optimization, leading to 32 and 29% average reductions in peak water level violations from a pre-defined permissible threshold at target points and the number of pump switches, respectively, in comparison with the online single-period optimization. The myopic policies derived by single-period optimization are not reliable, and in some cases, they even perform worse than ad-hoc policies applied by system operators based on their past experiences.  相似文献

Stacking active layers leads to increased power density and overall higher temperatures in a three dimensional integrated circuit (3DIC). Thermal sensors are therefore crucial for run-time thermal management of 3DICs. A thermal sensor allocation method customized for 3DICs that utilizes ring oscillator based 3D sensors is introduced in this paper. A new 3D thermal map modeling method that facilitates efficient and very fast analyses is embodied in this thermal sensor distribution algorithm. Our results indicate that for a 4-layer stacked 3DIC, consisting of two layers of quad-core processors and one layer of L2 cache and one layer of main memory, less than 3.58% in maximum sensor reading error can be accomplished with a 53× speedup in the thermal evaluation time and thermal sensor distribution algorithm implementation.  相似文献

Low-temperature wet chemical bath deposition (CBD) method is one of the most efficient and least hazardous solution-based techniques which is widely employed to grow ZnO NRs. In CBD method, a seed layer is usually deposited on the substrate. In this paper, high quality ZnO and aluminum doped ZnO (AZO) seed layers are sputtered on the indium tin oxide (ITO) coated glass. In continue, aligned ZnO NRs are grown on the AZO and ZnO seed layers via CBD technique. The effect of the growth time and seed layer on the physical properties of as-grown ZnO NRs are investigated. According to the results, the seed layer plays an essential role on the growth orientation and growth rate of the ZnO NRs. The ZnO NRs grown on AZO seed layer are more aligned rather than ZnO seed layer due to their higher texture coefficients. The relative photoluminescence (PL) intensity ratio of near band emission (NBE) to deep level emission (DLE) (INBE/IDLE) for the ZnO NRs grown on AZO and ZnO seed layers are calculated as 7.45 and 2.62, respectively. To investigate the performance of the as-grown ZnO NRs, near ultraviolet organic light-emitting diodes (UV-OLEDs) using ZnO NRs array as n-type material and poly [2-methoxy-5-(2-ethyl-hexyloxy)-1,4-phenylene-vinylene] (MEH-PPV) conjugated polymer as p-type material have been fabricated. The total concentration of traps (Nt), the characteristic energies (Et) and the turn-on voltages for the devices with the structures of ITO/AZO/ZnO NRs/MEH-PPV/Al (device A) and ITO/ZnO/ZnO NRs/MEH-PPV/Al (device B) are attained 7.65 × 1016 and 7.75 × 1016 cm?3, 0.232 and 0.206 eV, 23 and 21 V, respectively. Moreover, based on the electroluminescence (EL) spectra, the NBE peaks for device A and B are obtained nearly in the wavelengths of 382 and 388 nm, respectively. Finally, various charge carrier transportation processes of prepared UV-OLEDs have been studied, systematically.  相似文献

Different top layer fabrication methods (amine-first, acid-first, spin coating), organic phase solvents (hexane, heptane, mixed hexane/heptane), acid acceptors (triethylamine, sodium carbonate, sodium hydroxide), and surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate concentrations (0, 0.05, and 0.1 wt%) were utilized to fabricate thin film composite polyamide membranes for CO2/N2 separation. The results, according to an L9 orthogonal array of Taguchi approach, showed that employing acid-first method increases both CO2 permeance and CO2/N2 selectivity of the membranes at a feed gas pressure of 3 bars. On the other hand, sodium hydroxide, and triethylamine should be used, as acid acceptors, to maximize CO2 permeance and CO2/N2 selectivity, respectively. Moreover, the use of hexane solvent and 0 wt% surfactant led to maximum permeance, while, hexane solvent and 0.1 wt% surfactant were needed to reach the highest selectivity. The above level setting of synthesis parameters also resulted in the minimum sensitivity of the fabrication process to the noise factors effects. As shown by the analysis of variance, acid acceptor, and organic solvent types were the most influential parameters on CO2 permeance and CO2/N2 selectivity, respectively. The effects of fabrication method and surfactant concentration, as single factors, on permeation/selectivity responses were also investigated.  相似文献
