Optimization for structural crashworthiness and energy absorption has become an important topic of research attributable to its proven benefits to public safety and social economy. This paper provides a comprehensive review of the important studies on design optimization for structural crashworthiness and energy absorption. First, the design criteria used in crashworthiness and energy absorption are reviewed and the surrogate modeling to evaluate these criteria is discussed. Second, multiobjective optimization, optimization under uncertainties and topology optimization are reviewed from concepts, algorithms to applications in relation to crashworthiness. Third, the crashworthy structures are summarized, from generically novel structural configurations to industrial applications. Finally, some conclusions and recommendations are provided to enable academia and industry to become more aware of the available capabilities and recent developments in design optimization for structural crashworthiness and energy absorption.

A recurrent floating green algae bloom was detected in the Yellow Sea since 2007.The Ulva.prolifera is non\|toxic,but the massive accumulations can result in significant environmental damage and cause economic loss to marine industries.In this study,the spatial and temporal patterns of Ulva.prolifera green tides were investigated in the Yellow Sea during 2015 using HJ\|1A/1B and MODIS satellite images by means of NDVI (normalized difference vegetation index)and artificial interpretation.The results showed:(1)A little Ulva.prolifera was discovered firstly in adjacent sea of Yancheng,Jiangsu province in early May with distribution area 0.831 km2.Under the action of the southeast monsoon,Ulva.prolifera was gradually drifted to Shandong peninsula waters from south to north.The influential area and range reached a peak value with 1 752.756 km2 in late June,and gradually subsided from July to August.And Ulva.prolifera about 38.791 km2 was monitored in the South Bay of North Korea.In conclusion,Ulva.prolifera in the Yellow Sea in 2015 has experienced five major processes including “Occur\|Development\|Outbreak\|Recession\|Disappeared”.(2)Typhoon "CHAN\|HOM" certainly influenced the northward pathway of Ulva.prolifera and shifted towards the southwest,resulting in most of Ulva.prolifera moved to the east coast of Lianyungang,and speculated that minority Ulva.prolifera drifted to the South Bay of North Korea.(3)From the monitoring data,the spatial resolution between MODIS and ENVISAT (HJ\|1A / 1B)is difference significantly,250 m and 30 m respectively.A functional relation of the two data with monitoring area difference about 2.26 times was established to make up for the shortage of the environmental satellite (HJ\|1A/1B)images.   相似文献

This paper focuses on the adaptive stabilization problem for a class of high‐order nonlinear systems with time‐varying uncertainties and unknown time‐delays. Time‐varying uncertain parameters are compensated by combining a function gain with traditional adaptive technique, and unknown multiple time‐delays are manipulated by the delicate choice of an appropriate Lyapunov function. With the help of homogeneous domination idea and recursive design, a continuous adaptive state‐feedback controller is designed to guarantee that resulting closed‐loop systems are globally uniformly stable and original system states converge to zero. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is illustrated by the stabilization of delayed neural network systems. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

通过分析数控系统加工时常用的插补算法的特点,提出一种基于NURBS曲线的插补算法.该算法包括速度规划和实时插补两部分:速度规划部分考虑了工件加工时允许的最大轮廓误差,以保证高速运行过程中加速度的连续,使机床运行平稳,避免产生大的冲击;实时插补部分应用弦截法计算插补参数,能将实时插补产生的速度波动控制到理想水平,进一步减小了机床震颤.仿真实验结果表明,文中算法能够减小机床振动,实现高质量加工.  相似文献

提出一种基于B样条整体最小二乘(Total least squares,TLS)的非线性多功能传感器信号重构新方法.该方法利用B样条基函数直接构建描述多功能传感器传递函数反函数的张量积B样条曲面;采用TLS求解超定方程组以获得稳定的控制系数估计.以二输入二输出多功能传感器模型为实验对象,在两种非线性情况下对多功能传感器的输入信号进行了重构,重构相对误差分别为0.162%和1.043%,并与常用重构方法进行了对比分析.理论和实验表明,B样条TLS重构方法对非线性多功能传感器传递函数的反函数具有良好的逼近性能,在信号重构中表现出较好的有效性.  相似文献

Reachability is one of the most important behavioral properties of Petri nets. We propose in this paper a novel approach for solving the fundamental equation in the reachability analysis of acyclic Petri nets, which has been known to be NP-complete. More specifically, by adopting a revised version of the cell enumeration method for an arrangement of hyperplanes in discrete geometry, we develop an efficient solution scheme to identify firing count vector solution(s) to the fundamental equation on a bounded integer set, with a complexity bound of O((nu)nm), where n is the number of transitions, m is the number of places and u is the upper bound of the number of firings for all individual transitions.  相似文献

Feature identification is one of the key steps for 3D solids reconstruction from 2D vector engineering drawings using the volume-based method. In this paper, we propose a novel method to identify and validate features from sectional views. First, features are classified as explicit features (EPFs) and implicit features (IPFs), which are then identified in an order of priority using heuristic hints. We show that the problem of constructing EPFs can be formulated as a 0-1 integer linear program (ILP), and the IPFs are generated based on the understanding of semantic information of omitted projections in sectional views. Then, the Loop-Relation Graph (LRG) is introduced as a multi-connected-subgraph representation for describing the relations between loops and features. According to the LRG, a reasoning technique based on confidence is implemented to interactively validate features. This method can recover features without complete projections, and the level of understanding sectional views is improved. Full sections, partial sections, offset sections as well as revolved sections can be handled by our method. Several examples are provided to demonstrate the practicability of our approach.  相似文献

The Northern Eurasian land mass encompasses a diverse array of land cover types including tundra, boreal forest, wetlands, semi-arid steppe, and agricultural land use. Despite the well-established importance of Northern Eurasia in the global carbon and climate system, the distribution and properties of land cover in this region are not well characterized. To address this knowledge and data gap, a hierarchical mapping approach was developed that encompasses the study area for the Northern Eurasia Earth System Partnership Initiative (NEESPI). The Northern Eurasia Land Cover (NELC) database developed in this study follows the FAO-Land Cover Classification System and provides nested groupings of land cover characteristics, with separate layers for land use, wetlands, and tundra. The database implementation is substantially different from other large-scale land cover datasets that provide maps based on a single set of discrete classes. By providing a database consisting of nested maps and complementary layers, the NELC database provides a flexible framework that allows users to tailor maps to suit their needs. The methods used to create the database combine empirically derived climate–vegetation relationships with results from supervised classifications based on Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) data. The hierarchical approach provides an effective framework for integrating climate–vegetation relationships with remote sensing-based classifications, and also allows sources of error to be characterized and attributed to specific levels in the hierarchy. The cross-validated accuracy was 73% for the land cover map and 73% and 91% for the agriculture and wetland classifications, respectively. These results support the use of hierarchical classification and climate–vegetation relationships for mapping land cover at continental scales.  相似文献

This paper aims to reduce the problems of incomplete data in computed tomography, which happens frequently in medical image process and analysis, e.g., when the high-density region of objects can only be penetrated by X-rays at a limited angular range. As the projection data are available only in an angular range, the incomplete data problem can be attributed to the limited angle problem, which is an ill-posed inverse problem. Image reconstruction based on total variation (TV) reduces the problem and gives better performance on edge-preserving reconstruction; however, the artificial parameter can only be determined through considerable experimentation. In this paper, an effective TV objective function is proposed to reduce the inverse problem in the limited angle tomography. This novel objective function provides a robust and effective reconstruction without any artificial parameter in the iterative processes, using the TV as a multiplicative constraint. The results demonstrate that this reconstruction strategy outperforms some previous ones.  相似文献
