This work examines the characteristics of polyoxides thermally grown and deposited on polished polysilicon films. A well-controlled chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) process is also presented to achieve a planar surface morphology for polysilicon films. The thermally-grown and deposited polyoxides on the polished polysilicon films exhibit a lower leakage current, higher dielectric breakdown field, higher electron barrier height, lower electron trapping rate, lower density of trapped charges, and markedly higher charge to breakdown (Qbd) than the conventional polyoxide. In particular, the deposited polyoxide on the polished polysilicon film has the highest dielectric breakdown field, lowest electron trapping rate, and highest charge to breakdown due to the planar polyoxide/polysilicon interface. In addition, experimental results indicate that the trapped charges of the polished samples are located in the polyoxides' upper portion, which differs from conventional polyoxides. Undoubtedly, the deposited polyoxide on the polished polysilicon film considered herein is the most promising candidate to yield optimum characteristics of polyoxide  相似文献

By considering the total transverse displacement of a sandwich plate as the sum of the displacement due to bending of the plate and that due to shear deformation of the core, a 72 degrees of freedom high precision high order triangular-plate element is developed for the thermal postbuckling analysis of rectangular composite sandwich plates. Due to an uneven thermal expansion coefficient in the two local material directions, the buckling mode of the plate can be changed from one mode to another as the fiber orientation or aspect ratio of the plate is varied. By examining the local minimum of total potential energy of each mode, a clear picture of buckle pattern change is presented. Numerical results show that for a sandwich plate with cross-ply laminated faces, buckle pattern change may occur when the plate has a long narrow shape. However, for sandwich plates with angle-ply laminated faces, the buckling mode is dependent on the fiber orientation and aspect ratio of the plate. The effect of temperature gradient on the postbuckling behavior of the sandwich plate is limited except for angle-ply laminated sandwich plates with fiber angle greater than 70° or less than 20°.  相似文献

Injection-molded Fe-Ni parts made from composite and elemental powders were prepared, and the effect of nickel on the sintering of iron compacts was investigated. Dilatometry analyses showed that the alpha-gamma phase transformation temperature of the Fe-Ni compact changed from a fixed 912 °C for pure iron to a temperature range between 700 °C and 912 °C where two phases coexisted. The microstructure indicated that nickel impeded surface diffusion and slowed down the neck growth rate of iron powder in the early sintering stage. The dual phase and the small neck size at low temperatures suppressed the exaggerated grain growth, which usually occurs on carbonyl iron powders at 912 °C. It was also observed that nickel impeded the grain growth of iron at high temperatures. Thus, by reducing the exaggerated grain growth during phase transformation, impeding the grain growth at high temperatures, and with high diffusion rates of iron in Ni-rich areas, enhanced densification was obtained for Fe-Ni systems, particularly for those systems made from composite powders. However, when coarse nickel powder was added, expansion was observed due to the presence of large pores around nickel powders. These pores were formed because of the particle rearrangement which was caused by the Kirkendall effect.  相似文献

The authors hypothesized that children's perceptions of their parents' job insecurity mediate the effects of parental job insecurity and layoffs on children's work beliefs and work attitudes. Male and female undergraduate students (N = 134; M age = 18.9 years), as well as their mothers (M age = 47.0 years) and fathers (M age = 49.1 years), participated voluntarily. With structural equation modeling as implemented by LISREL VIII, support for the proposed model was obtained, whereas no support was obtained for a competing model. Moreover, identification with fathers moderated the influence of perceived paternal job insecurity on children's humanistic work beliefs, but no comparable effect emerged for mothers.  相似文献

alpha-Lytic protease is encoded with a large (166 amino acid) N-terminal pro region that is required transiently both in vivo and in vitro for the correct folding of the protease domain [Silen, J. L. , and Agard, D. A. (1989) Nature 341, 462-464; Baker, D., et al. (1992) Nature 356, 263-265]. The pro region also acts as a potent inhibitor of the mature enzyme [Baker, D., et al. (1992) Proteins: Struct.,Funct., Genet. 12, 339-344]. This inhibition is mediated through direct steric occlusion of the active site by the C-terminal residues of the pro region [Sohl, J. L., et al. (1997) Biochemistry 36, 3894-3904]. Through mutagenesis and structure-function analyses we have begun to investigate the mechanism by which the pro region acts as a single turnover catalyst to facilitate folding of the mature protease. Of central interest has been mapping the interface between the pro region and the protease and identifying interactions critical for stabilizing the rate-limiting folding transition state. Progressive C-terminal deletions of the pro region were found to have drastic effects on the rate at which the pro region folds the protease but surprisingly little effect on inhibition of protease activity. The observed kinetic data strongly support a model in which the detailed interactions between the pro region C-terminus and the protease are remarkably similar to those of known substrate/inhibitor complexes. Further, mutation of two protease residues near the active site have significant effects on stabilization of the folding transition state (kcat) or in binding to the folding intermediate (KM). Our results suggest a model for the alpha-lytic protease pro region-mediated folding reaction that may be generally applicable to other pro region-dependent folding reactions.  相似文献

The vibration and optimum design of a rotating laminated blade subject to constraints on the dynamic behavior are investigated. Restrictions on multiple natural frequencies as well as the maximum dynamic deflections of rotating laminated blades are considered as constraints on the dynamic behavior of the system. Aerodynamic forces acting on the blade are simulated as harmonic excitations. The optimality criterion method and the modified method of feasible directions have been successfully developed for optimizing the weight of the rotating laminated blade. Effects of radius of the disk, aspect ratio, and rotating speed on the system dynamic behaviors and/or the optimum design are also studied. The vibration analysis shows that most of the bending modes can be significantly affected by the rotating speed and the radius of the disk. Results also show that the optimum weight with constraints on the dynamic response is higher than that with frequency constraints. Moreover, results show that the weight of the rotating laminated blade can be greatly reduced at the optimum design stage.  相似文献

Two MBR pilot systems were constructed and tested in the Bali Primary WWTP. The pilot study shows that two MBR systems, i.e. the Green-MenBio system (MBR-1) and the Bio-MF system (MBR-2), can both fulfill the requirement of wastewater reclamation standard. The MBR-2 system is more economical compared with MBR-1 system. The cost of US dollars 0.10-0.16/m3 is estimated to reclaim the effluent of primary WWTP in Taiwan. The Bali Primary WWTP has the capacity of 1,320,000 cmd which is the biggest in Taiwan. The domestic wastewater of partial Taipei City and Taipei County are collected and transported to the Bali Primary WWTP. The effluent of the Bali Primary WWTP is then discharged into the ocean through two 3.8 m marine outfalls. The AO processes are installed in both MBR systems. More than 90% of the NH3-N can be removed through the AO and membrane processes. The outflow of the MBR systems (without RO) can reach the quality of COD <30 mg/l, BOD <10 mg/l, SS <5 mg/l, NH3-N <3 mg/L. The outflow of the MBR system is proposed to transport 40 km south to the Taoyuan County where four new industrial parks are to be constructed. Part of the reclaimed water is to be used on irrigation and another portion is to be sent to the industries after RO treatment.  相似文献

Cu-based catalysts such as Cu/Cr/Mn are active catalysts in the decomposition of methanol to CO and H2. It was found that the activity of the Cu/Cr/Mn catalyst can be enhanced by adding small amounts of alkali additives in the catalyst. The promoting effect increased in the order of Li, Na and K. The formation of dimethylether as a result of dehydration of methanol decreased with the addition of alkali additives. Catalyst characterizations indicate that alkali promoters reduce the BET surface area of the catalysts but significantly enhance the dispersion of active copper. The separation of picking and packing processes of a warehouse management system usually brings extra storage buffers and relatively longer operating time. This paper develops a hybrid algorithm to generate a picking sequence for combining picking and packing operations. The algorithm includes three elements: container selection, loading configuration, and loading/picking sequence. A generic warehouse management system with the proposed sequential order picking function for a tea factory in central Taiwan has been implemented to demonstrate the elimination of storage buffers and the reduction of operation time.  相似文献
