Independently of the creativity movement, others have demonstrated the benefits of creating positive fields. I have reviewed a number of cases involving field below and added some from my own creativity experiences. I then explore the psychological explanation of why such fields are effective and go on to the findings of recent brain research, which not only reinforce the benefits of positive fields but also throw light on the difficulty of creating them. Finally, I offer some suggestions from my own experience of what can be done to create positive fields. I believe that this should now be the focus of our efforts: to the extent that we are successful, we should get the creativity and innovation we need as a by‐product. 相似文献

YbBa2Cu3O7?x (YbBCO) thick films were grown on buffered, cube-textured Nickel tapes by sol–gel dip-coating method. Yb-123 films were prepared using solutions of Yb, Ba, and Cu organometallic compounds. A solution-based Gd2O3 buffer layer was deposited by dip-coating process with excellent texture and uniformity. The texture development and surface morphology of the buffer-layer films were examined by X-ray diffraction, pole figures, and ESEM analysis. We studied the corrosion and corrosion-mechanical resistance of new austenitic high-nitrogen 12Kh18AG18Sh steel for the retaining rings of turbogenerators in aqueous solutions containing chlorides and copper (II) cations. A significant decrease in the corrosion resistance of this steel (P constitutes 0.52–14.50 mm/year) and in its resistance to corrosion cracking and corrosion-fatigue fracture in CuCl2 solutions was established. We also calculated the coefficients of linear parts of the kinetic diagrams of fatigue fracture of the steel under study in air with a humidity of 40% and in 22% NaCl and CuCl2 solutions. 相似文献

The influence of the firing conditions on the nanoscale structure of the grain boundaries and on the magnetic properties of polycrystalline MnZn-ferrites is investigated, on specimens of nearly identical microstructures. High oxygen partial pressures favor accumulation of impurity ions at the triple points. Under appropriate oxygen pressures homogeneous accumulation of impurities along the grain boundaries may occur, revealing therefore chemically pure grains and low hysteresis losses; simultaneously an increase of the grain boundary resistivity occurs that results to low eddy current losses. Managing the raw material impurity cations towards controlled grain boundary structures leads to the synthesis of MnZn-ferrites with power losses similar to those achieved when high purity raw materials are used together with externally introduced additives. 相似文献
