The dangers of subsynchronous resonance in series capacitor compensated transmission lines have led some utilities to consider the alternative of shunt capacitive compensation, since the electrical resonant frequencies in this case are usually considered to be supersynchronous. However, in heavily compensated or very long lines, at least one of the resonant frequencies may become subsynchronous. This paper examines the torsional interactions between electrical resonant frequencies (which can be supersynchronous or subsynchronous) and the mechanical oscillations of a generator connected to a long transmission line. Examples are given and the electrical damping is calculated in order to evaluate the risk of self-excitation occurring.  相似文献

Nanocomposites based on TiO2 aerogel and Ag nanoparticles have been successfully obtained through different synthesis methods and their specific surface areas have been determined by N2 sorption (BET method). The photocatalytic potential for salicylic acid degradation has been evaluated. It was found that under visible light irradiation, all synthesized nanocomposites exhibit higher photocatalytic activity than the commercially available Aeroxide P25. By correlating the structural parameters with the photocatalytic performances, it has been found that the Ag nanoparticles and brookite phase presence alongside the anatase play important roles on the visible photocatalysts behavior. For the Ag containing samples with mixed anatase–brookite phases, it has been observed that the visible photocatalytic performance decreases with the increase in brookite crystalline phase content. On the other hand, the addition of Ag nanoparticles results, as expected, in a clear enhancement of the visible photocatalytic activity.  相似文献

The article presents a new method for the design of decentralized networked switched controllers to mitigate the response of building structures under earthquakes. It consists of two phases. The first phase generates low‐order gain matrices based on the linear quadratic Gaussian (LQG) control design. It includes a substructural approach when the equations of motion of substructures are extracted from the equation of motion of the overall structures described by a finite element in‐plane (2‐D) model. Appropriate model reduction procedures, determination of damping as well as the selection of sensor and actuators locations and models are applied to each substructure. The sensors and actuators are implemented into the design model. Both resulting reduced‐order state space models of substructures are used for the proper LQG control design. The obtained local controllers are implemented into the overall structure to evaluate the performance of the closed‐loop system. Displacement, drift, acceleration, maximal actuator forces as well as dynamic responses on selected locations are checked. The computational originality is the method derived under the subsequent second phase, where the gain matrices computed in the first phase serve as a tool for the design of decentralized networked switched controller. The switching is realized periodically between two switched modes. Each mode corresponds with only one active local feedback loop for a certain period of time. The network parameter is the time interval of activity of each mode determined by a given protocol. Robustness of performance against packet dropouts and sensor faults is tested. A numerical example of the decentralized networked switched controller design applied on the 20‐story high‐fidelity building benchmark model is supplied. The simulation tests show the proposed method exhibits acceptable performance.  相似文献

Homologation of the glutamic acid chain together with conformational constraint is a commonly used strategy to achieve selectivity towards different types of glutamate receptors. We investigated the effects of a further increase in the distance between the amino acid moiety and the distal carboxylate group of model compounds (+/-)-1 and (+/-)-2 on their activity/selectivity profiles. We therefore synthesized new derivatives (+/-)-3-(+/-)-6, which are homologues of glutamic acid containing three additional carbon units. Moreover, because the potency of NMDA antagonists can be markedly increased by replacing the distal carboxylate with the bioisosteric phosphonate group, we also prepared the corresponding phosphonate derivatives (+/-)-7-(+/-)-10. All new compounds were submitted to binding assays with iGluRs, and derivatives (+/-)-3-(+/-)-6 were also tested in second messenger assays at representative mGluR subtypes. All the applied structural modifications were detrimental to the interaction with NMDA receptors. Conversely, structural variation of the nonselective mGluR ligand (+/-)-2 led to derivative (+/-)-5, which behaved as a selective group I metabotropic receptor antagonist. Notably, upon i.c.v. administration in DBA/2 mice, amino acid (+/-)-5 produced a significant protection against audiogenic seizures, whereas it was inactive after i.p. administration.  相似文献

Three characteristically different carbon nanomaterials were compared and analyzed as platinum-free counter electrodes for dye solar cells: 1) single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) random network films on glass, 2) aligned multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) forest films on Inconel steel and quartz, and 3) pressed carbon nanoparticle composite films on indium tin oxide-polyethylene terephtalate plastic. Results from electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and electron microscopy were discussed in terms of the catalytic activity, conductivity, thickness, transparency and flexibility of the electrode films. The SWCNT films showed reasonable catalytic performance at similar series resistance compared to platinized fluorine doped tin oxide-coated glass. The MWCNTs had similar catalytic activity, but the electrochemical performance of the films was limited by their high porosity. Carbon nanoparticle films had the lowest charge transfer resistance resulting from a combination of high catalytic activity and dense packing of the material.  相似文献

This report deals with the influence of alteration processes in andesite and dacite with special reference to those alterations and characteristics of stone having the greatest influence on the quality of asphaltic concrete mixes. Using andesites and dacites with extremely different properties for standard asphaltic mixes has proved that quality of the mixes very much depends on the quality of the stone aggregate used. Properties of stone aggregate of different degree and type of alteration have a significant influence on the rheological characteristics of bitumen. Therefore, special attention has been paid to this influence.  相似文献

Memory structures with an embedded sheet of separated Si nanocrystals were prepared by low pressure chemical vapour deposition using a Si3N4 control layer and different Si2O2 or Si3N4 tunnel layers. It was obtained that Si nanocrystals improve the charging behaviour of the MNOS structures. Memory window width of 1.3 V and 2.0 V were obtained for pulse amplitudes of +/-9 V and +/-10 V, 100 ms, respectively. The extrapolated memory window after 10 years is about 15% of its initial value.  相似文献

Environmentally friendly vegetable oils and their derivatives represent alternatives to mineral-based lubricants. Vegetable oils have high biodegradability and low production costs. Their poor thermo-oxidative stability and poor low temperature properties are disadvantages in their use as lubricant basestocks. In our study we used corn oil and diester mixtures, which become lubricants when additives are introduced. These mixtures of corn oil and di-2-ethylhexyl-adipate (DOA) and di-2-ethylhexyl-sebacate (DOS) offer a wide range of kinematic viscosities, pour points lower than −39 °C and flash points over 218 °C. The diameters of wear scars measured under four-ball testing (40 daN) are less than 0.90 mm and the copper strip corrosion test result is 1a. The differential scanning calorimetry study and thermogravimetric study under nitrogen atmosphere and in synthetic air are reported. From these studies a higher thermal stability was observed for corn oil than for diester oils. The thermo-oxidative instability occurred at temperatures higher than 350 °C. The low production cost of corn oil and its mixtures with diesters makes them an attractive alternative to mineral oil lubricants.  相似文献
