Building owners are increasingly interested in a healthy and sustainable living environment, which is a trend favoring ecological building materials with outstanding structural physical parameters. Insulation boards from particles of larch bark (Larix decidua Mill.) bonded with a formaldehyde-free tannin resin were pressed and evaluated for their mechanical and physical properties. It could be shown that light (target density 250 kg/m3) boards can be pressed, and their thermal conductivity is low (0.065–0.09 W/(m*K)). With regard to mechanical characteristics, the influence of panel density was studied, and it was found that a certain compaction (ρ ≥ 400 kg/m3) is necessary to meet the requirements of the relevant standard. Interestingly, the resin amount did not influence the mechanical board properties as strongly as expected, and panel density is the most important variable in this respect. The study proved that tree bark cannot only be used for substantially upgraded insulation panels but can also be bonded with a formaldehyde free tannin resin. 相似文献

The CIRCE AMS system started operation in March 2005. The measurement of isotopic ratios 14C/12C in samples of archaeological and environmental interest has rapidly attained high precision and accuracy levels in routine operation. The results of the intercomparison campaign in the framework of the VIRI program, as well as the outcome of a statistical analysis of the about 200 control measurements performed with standard samples, have shown the capability of the whole system for high precision measurements (δR/R < 0.3%), allowing systematic investigations in both archaeological and environmental sciences. 26Al AMS has been implemented for the measurement of the astrophysically relevant 25Mg(p,γ)26Al reaction cross section, while a beam line is under construction for the measurement of actinides isotopic ratios. 相似文献

AMS (accelerator mass spectrometry) radiocarbon dated human bone samples recovered in the deserted medieval village of Quattro Macine, Lecce, in Southern Italy, were analyzed by PIXE (particle induced X-ray emission) and PIGE (particle induced gamma ray emission). The optimization of the PIXE-PIGE experimental set-up in term of beam energy and detection geometry resulted in the possibility to obtain information about major, minor and trace elements of the samples. Unexpectedly, all the analyzed samples showed a Pb concentration higher than 50 ppm. Two possible explanations of the measured high Pb concentration are discussed in the paper: the pre-mortem intake associated with the use of Pb-rich glazed pottery and the post-mortem intake from soil as the result of diagenetic processes. 相似文献

The foreseen uptake of hydrogen mobility is a fundamental step towards the decarbonization of the transport sector. Under such premises, both refueling infrastructure and vehicles should be deployed together with improved refueling protocols. Several studies focus on refueling the light-duty vehicles with 10 kgH2 up to 700 bar, however less known effort is reported for refueling heavy-duty vehicles with 30–40 kgH2 at 350 bar. The present study illustrates the application of a lumped model to a fuel cell bus tank-to-tank refueling event, tailored upon the real data acquired in the 3Emotion Project. The evolution of the main refueling quantities, such as pressure, temperature, and mass flow, are predicted dynamically throughout the refueling process, as a function of the operating parameters, within the safety limits imposed by SAE J2601/2 technical standard. The results show to refuel the vehicle tank from half to full capacity with an Average Pressure Ramp Rate (APRR) equal to 0.03 MPa/s are needed about 10 min. Furthermore, it is found that the effect of varying the initial vehicle tank pressure is more significant than changing the ambient temperature on the refueling performances. In conclusion, the analysis of the effect of different APRR, from 0.03 to 0.1 MPa/s, indicate that is possible to safely reduce the duration of half-to-full refueling by 62% increasing the APRR value from 0.03 to 0.08 MPa/s. 相似文献

We describe the synthesis of two novel poly(1,4-arylene-2,5-thienylene)s P1 and P2 containing benzo[c][2,1,3]thiadiazole monomeric units via Suzuki-Miyaura polymerization of a thiophene diboronic ester with aryl diiodides. The use of a catalyst complex consisting of Pd(OAc)2 in combination with the electron-rich biaryl phosphine S-Phos resulted in efficient polymerization reactions. The polymers synthesized, P1 and P2, were characterized by UV-vis spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. Theoretical calculations and electrochemical measurements on P1 suggested a favorable position of the molecular orbitals for employment in polymer solar cells in combination with PCBM. Devices containing P1:PCBM 1:2 in the active layer showed an efficiency of 1.2% by simple spin casting from chloroform. 相似文献

Planktic diatoms are the largest primary producers in marine and freshwater habitats. Their dry biomass accumulates up to 50% of lipids and contains water-soluble β-1,3-glucans as major storage products. Because of the world-wide abundance of these photosynthetic protists, β-1,3-glucans may rival cellulose as the polysaccharide with the highest annual production on Earth. Here we show the feasibility of a simple and efficient process leading to bio-hydrogen by dark fermentation of microalgal biomass with the thermophilic bacterium Thermotoga neapolitana. Production of the biogas on minimum medium supplemented only with the extract of the diatom Thalassiosira weissflogii proved that algal biomass per se can serve as substrate for sustaining the biotechnological process with no requirement of any pretreatment and external integration of other nutrients. At the same time, lipids unused for the anaerobic production of the biogas, can be employed for production of bio-diesel, thus considerably increasing the economic potential of these renewable feedstocks. 相似文献

2D hybrid perovskites (2DP) are versatile materials, whose electronic and optical properties can be tuned through the nature of the organic cations (even when those are seemingly electronically inert). Here, it is demonstrated that fluorination of the organic ligands yields glassy 2DP materials featuring long‐lived correlated electron–hole pairs. Such states have a marked charge‐transfer character, as revealed by the persistent Stark effect in the form of a second derivative in electroabsorption. Modeling shows that electrostatic effects associated with fluorination, combined with the steric hindrance due to the bulky side groups, drive the formation of spatially dislocated charge pairs with reduced recombination rates. This work enriches and broadens the current knowledge of the photophysics of 2DP, which will hopefully guide synthesis efforts toward novel materials with improved functionalities. 相似文献

Metal ions such as cobalt (II) and chromium (III) might be present in the oral cavity, as a consequence of the corrosion of Co-Cr dental alloys. The diffusion of such metal ions into the organism, carried by saliva, can cause health problems as a consequence of their toxicity, enhanced by a cumulative effect in the body. The effect of the chlorhexidine digluconate, which is commonly used in mouthwash formulations, on the transport of these salts is evaluated in this paper by using the Taylor dispersion technique, which will allow an assessment of how the presence of chlorhexidine digluconate (either in aqueous solution or in a commercial formulation) may affect the diffusion of metal ions. The ternary mutual diffusion coefficients of metal ions (Co and Cr) in the presence of chlorhexidine digluconate, in an artificial saliva media, were measured. Significant coupled diffusion of CoCl2 (and CrCl3) and chlorhexidine digluconate is observed by analysis of the non-zero values of the cross-diffusion coefficients, D12 and D21. The observed interactions between metal ions and chlorhexidine digluconate suggest that the latter might be considered as an advantageous therapeutic agent, once they contribute to the reduction of the concentration of those ions inside the mouth. 相似文献

In this paper we address the problem of diagnosing the execution of Multiagent Plans with interdependent action delays. To this end, we map our problem to the Model-Based Diagnosis setting, and solve it by devising a novel modeling and reasoning method to infer preferred diagnoses based on partial observation of the start and end times of plan actions. Interestingly, we show that the kind of problem we address can be seen as an extension to the well known disjunctive temporal problem with preferences, augmented with a (qualitative) Bayesian network that models dependencies among action delays. An extensive set of tests performed with a prototype implementation on two different problem domains proves the feasibility of the proposed methodology. 相似文献
