The space velocity had profound and complicated effects on methanol synthesis from CO2/CO/H2 over Cu/ZnO/Al2O3 at 523 K and 3.0MPa. At high space velocities, methanol yields as well as the rate of methanol production increased continuously with increasing CO2 concentration in the feed. Below a certain space velocity, methanol yields and reaction rates showed a maximum at CO2 concentration of 5–10%. Different coverages of surface reaction intermediates on copper appeared to be responsible for this phenomenon. The space velocity that gave the maximal rate of methanol production also depended on the feed composition. Higher space velocity yielded higher rates for CO2/ H2 and the opposite effect was observed for the CO/H2 feed. For CO2/CO/H2 feed, an optimal space velocity existed for obtaining the maximal rate.  相似文献

A neuro-inspired multi-chromosomal genotype for a single developmental neuron capable of learning and developing memory is proposed. This genotype is evolved so that the phenotype which changes and develops during an agent's lifetime (while problem-solving) gives the agent the capacity for learning by experience. Seven important processes of signal processing and neural structure development are identified from biology and encoded using Cartesian Genetic Programming. These chromosomes represent the electrical and developmental aspects of dendrites, axonal branches, synapses and the neuron soma. The neural morphology that occurs by running these chromosomes is highly dynamic. The dendritic/axonal branches and synaptic connections form and change in response to situations encountered in the learning task. The approach has been evaluated in the context of maze-solving and the board game of checkers (draughts) demonstrating interesting learning capabilities. The motivation underlying this research is to, ab initio, evolve genotypes that build phenotypes with an ability to learn.  相似文献

The electrochemical synthesis of poly(o-anisidine) (POA) was achieved on brass (CuZn) electrode by applying two scan rates (50 and 20 mVs−1). The synthesized polymer films were strongly adherent and homogeneous in both cases. Their corrosion performance was investigated by AC impedance spectroscopy (EIS) technique, anodic polarization plots and open circuit potential-time curves, in 3.5% NaCl solution. It was clearly seen that poly(o-anisidine) films provided a significant physical protection for longer exposure time. It was shown that polymer film coated at high scan rate (CuZn/POA-H) exhibited better barrier property against the attack of corrosive agents when compared with polymer film obtained at low scan rate (CuZn/POA-L). It was found out that poly(o-anisidine) film synthesized at high scan rate caused a significant increase in corrosion resistance by its catalytic behavior on formation of protective oxide layers on the surface in longer time.  相似文献

Highly crosslinked ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) stabilized by vitamin E (VE) is widely applied in artificial joints as the bearings. Despite the approval, there is a discord that VE lowers the crosslinking efficiency, limiting its use at high concentration. In this work, we aim to obtain highly crosslinked and oxidation resistant UHMWPE through the conjunction of tea polyphenol and chemical crosslinking. We hypothesized that highly incorporated tea polyphenol with multiple reactive sites can ameliorate crosslinking efficiency of chemical crosslinked UHMWPE in comparison to VE. Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) as representative tea polyphenol was incorporated into UHMWPE at high concentration (2–8 wt%), followed by chemical crosslinking with 2 wt% organic peroxide. Unlike VE/UHMWPE blends as the control, chemical crosslinking achieved an increasing trend in crosslink density of EGCG/UHMWPE blends with increasing antioxidant concentration. High concentration of EGCG also enhanced the oxidation stability of UHMWPE. Intriguingly, EGCG endowed UHMWPE with an excellent antimicrobial property, which was inefficient in VE/UHMWPE. Cell viability was hardly affected by the high loaded antioxidant and peroxide. The chemically crosslinked UHMWPE blended with EGCG is proved to be a reasonable, cost effective and realistic alternative for use in artificial joints.  相似文献

Forecasting the foreign exchange rate is an uphill task. Numerous methods have been used over the years to develop an efficient and reliable network for forecasting the foreign exchange rate. This study utilizes recurrent neural networks (RNNs) for forecasting the foreign currency exchange rates. Cartesian genetic programming (CGP) is used for evolving the artificial neural network (ANN) to produce the prediction model. RNNs that are evolved through CGP have shown great promise in time series forecasting. The proposed approach utilizes the trends present in the historical data for its training purpose. Thirteen different currencies along with the trade-weighted index (TWI) and special drawing rights (SDR) is used for the performance analysis of recurrent Cartesian genetic programming-based artificial neural networks (RCGPANN) in comparison with various other prediction models proposed to date. The experimental results show that RCGPANN is not only capable of obtaining an accurate but also a computationally efficient prediction model for the foreign currency exchange rates. The results demonstrated a prediction accuracy of 98.872 percent (using 6 neurons only) for a single-day prediction in advance and, on average, 92% for predicting a 1000 days’ exchange rate in advance based on ten days of data history. The results prove RCGPANN to be the ultimate choice for any time series data prediction, and its capabilities can be explored in a range of other fields.  相似文献

In mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs), flooding is a required message dissemination technique for network-wide broadcast. The conventional blind flooding algorithm causes broadcast storm problem, a high number of unnecessary packet rebroadcasts thus resulting in high contention and packet collisions. This paper proposes a new probabilistic approach that dynamically fine-tunes the rebroadcasting probability of a node for routing request packets (RREQs) according to the number of neighbour nodes. We evaluate the performance of the proposed approach for the ad hoc on demand distance vector (AODV) routing protocol and compared against the blind flooding, fixed probabilistic and adjusted probabilistic flooding [L.M.M.M. A synthesis strategy for the preparation of trimetallic PtCoFe alloy nanoparticle superlattices is reported. Trimetallic PtCoFe alloy monolayer array of nanoparticle superlattices with a large density of high index facets and platinum‐rich surface are successfully prepared by coreduction of metal precursors in formamide solvent. The concentration of cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide plays a vital role for the formation of a monolayer array of nanoparticle superlattices, while the size of nanoparticles is determined by NaI. The prepared monolayer array of nanoparticle superlattices is the superior catalyst for oxygen reduction reaction as well as for ethanol oxidation owing to their specific structural and compositional characteristics.  相似文献
